New Steam Controller not compatible
Hello, I bought a new Steam Controller and want to play the game from Steam (activated there) when ingame the camera just auto snaps to the right, and it feels it auto moves in the settings menu in the game. Looking on steam forums more people have this problem. Can you identify the issue and give me a fix? I tried the ones that AI gave me, but no veil that didn't work either. Please respond back or i'm doomed to just refund. Due to not working game.
Game license is invalid when launching Veilguard through EA app
I am attempting to launch Dragon Age: The Veilguard through the EA app. The following error message occurs: “Game license is invalid The app couldn’t read the game’s license file, so we suggest relaunching the game in online mode. If the problem continues, try clearing your cache.” I am in online mode, indicated by a green check in the upper right corner of the EA app. After clearing the cache through Help->App recovery->Clear cache, the app restarts, but the same error message occurs when attempting to launch the game. After repairing the game through the app the same error occurs I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, the same error occurs. Anything else I should try?
Over a year and still no sound
Bought and downloaded veilguard the day it came out, and there's no sound. Haven't been able to play it yet. I called support in January 2025 and 3 different workers pretty much went every avenue with me: I turned my computer on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared the cache, connected to different speakers, adjusted graphics settings in-game and on my Nvidia driver, reset the sound driver, uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app, and nothing. I still would like to play this game. I was hoping today after updating the files it would somehow resolve but nope. I think I got a bugged out download or something and I need help or I need a refund.Puntos parpadeantes ps5
PS5 Slim. En Dragon Age me aparecieron pequeños puntos negros/grises que parpadeaban muy rápido siempre en la zona inferior derecha de la pantalla durante una sesión. Se grabaron también en la captura de la PS5. Al día siguiente desaparecieron y no he conseguido reproducirlos de nuevo. ¿Alguien ha visto algo parecido? ¿Era un bug del juego o terminó siendo un problema de hardware?
Bug: Custom Controller Bindings Ignored in Ability Wheel (Rune Activation)
Description: I rebound my "Activate Rune" controller button to Y. The real-time shortcut works perfectly in combat (LT + Y), but the ability wheel completely ignores this custom binding. When I open the ability wheel (LB), the rune prompt is still hardcoded to B. Because B also closes the ability wheel, I can't use my rune. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Rebind the rune activation to Y (or any button other than B). 2. Open the ability wheel in combat. 3. Try to activate the rune. The menu will close instead. Expected Result: The ability wheel UI should dynamically update to use the player's custom "Activate Rune" binding rather than being hardcoded to the cancel button.
Game needs admin permissions
This game used to run great, now, I have been trying to get it to run for days to no avail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, followed all the suggestions in discussions on the subject, but nothing works. Every time I try to start the game, it gives me the pop up that it needs admin permissions. I have chosen run as administrator for the game, EA App, and Frosty Mod Manager....no matter which way I try to start the game, I get the same pop up. I have almost thrown my computer several times because of this....can anyone help??
Loot Bug
So my first playing, I think during Blood of Arlathan, I encountered a bug that made it so I couldn't buy anything from merchants. The money would be spent but I would get no items and the only way I could buy anything was if I spent something which you can only do with faction merchants. I also stopped getting items and improvements though chest, the only thing I would get was gold, which was rather annoying but my gear wasn't too bad so I powered through it. On my second play through now and after first getting to Hossberg I've encountered the bug again but this time I was able to go back to a save where it wasn't there. However, it kept coming back whenever I tried to buy anything from the merchants around Lavendel so I stopped trying to get anything from them. But while exploring it started up again until I skipped the 'Only an Echo' quest where you check on the family. For some reason, even if I don't collect any of the chest you find on that quest, I would get that bug. I'm on pc and I do have mods but the only one that effects items is one that unlocks all cosmetics for my armor and weapons so I don't think it would cause this. Update, happened again after doing heart of corruption, got the item in the chest after the quest and now merchants don't like me. Not loving that this might be a reoccurring bug.Stuck under the world
This is my second play through, and didn’t encounter this the first time. At that point I can move, fire off with my staff, but as soon as I try to use the map or escape for the menu, it stalls out. If I just keep moving, I end up under the world. I’d read if you died it might correct the problem, but there’s nowhere to end my character. Anyone had this issue and know of any remedy? I’ve set everything to low, started again with a prior save, but nothing breaks through the issue. All research says this is a game breaking bug.
Heroic Leap still bugged?
I noticed a thread from about a year ago stating that heroic leap is not benefiting from both ability upgrades “Charged Smash” and “Striking Precision” which is kind of weird seeing as heroic leap is labeled as both a strike and smash ability. Now I did see that it used to be that you would straight up not get the precision buff if you spec into both upgrades. I seem to keep the buff so that seemed to be fixed but my heroic leap still does not get the guaranteed critical hit from precision. Has there been any word of a fix as a year long bug is kind of sad if you ask me.
Kataranda the Stormrider Quest Bug
The quest isn't spawning for me. I have completed everything up to the point of no return, and I have completed everyone's quests and all factions are 3-Star and I have 140 mementos. I don't understand why this quest isn't spawning for me. I tried it on 2 separate saves and I don't see the note in Taash's room or at the bulletin board in the Hall of Valor. What am I doing wrong?Memento bug in Ossuary
Like many others before me on different site discussion threads, I have encountered a problem in the Ossuary where you fight the Fabricator. The Small Painted Box Memento (that, weirdly, for some reason, looks like a dragon statuette and the previously obtained memento for Dragon Decoy looks like a black ball) grants 5o Caretaker points but does not appear anywhere in the library. All known fixes have been tried to no avail and yeas the game is up to date. Interestingly enough this is not my first playthrough having played the game multiple times previously. To confirm this is a problem I loaded the previous playthrough and the memento is in the library for that character's plathrough. For completionists this is an aggravatingly annoying issue.
