Nostalgia Trip not unlocking
Hello, I have been trying to get this achievement for 2 days now, the first time I tried I was near end game, I rotated the statues, did the wisps then jumped off the balcony and didnt get the achievement, I reinstalled the game, verified game files, rebooted my pc, started a brand new playthrough where I rotated the statues as soon as I was in lighthouse, then did the wisps after I did necropolis, the achievement still won't unlock. Anyone have any advice for this? Really want to 100% this game..
Dragon Age Veigluard Freezes Pc
Hello everyone. I have a problem with the game. At random moments and after a random amount of time, the game freezes my entire computer and requires me to shut it down. I've tried searching forums for help and have done almost everything I could. Deleting one of the folders that players often report, changing settings, disabling RTX, and other such things. Regardless of the settings, the game simply freezes my entire computer after about 3 minutes, 15 seconds, or an hour. This doesn't happen at certain moments with a lot of effects, because it can even happen in the menu. I dont know why i have that problem but please help... im tired of that...Dragonage Veilgard crashes Xbox series X
Ive been playing through the dragonage veilgard game now for about 2 weeks. My Xbox constantly crashes and powers completely off. It doesn't do this on any other game I play. After scouring the web it seems this is a known issue but I couldn't find anything where EA or Bioware have acknowledged it. Has anyone heard or seen any updates on a fix? This game is fun but getting to be unplayable with the constant crashing.
No longer getting field banter with multiple party 'pairs' (XBOX)
So in my second Veilguard run on my XBSX, I've been trying to get more field banter than I did in the last one since it's all delightful, so periodically I'll grab a pair I don't use together as often and run through some reliable 'banter trigger' spots/ wait a while/ do another one/ etc etc. So a fair bit ago in my current run, I noticed that suddenly I couldn't get banter between Davrin and Harding to trigger anymore. I was pretty puzzled, since I was pretty sure they couldn't be 'out' of options at that point. I tried a few things- reloading, trying different banter spots, getting banter with different party members and trying them again, etc- but eventually gave up and kept going, hoping that eventually it would sort itself out (but as of where I am now- far enough in the game that I have a couple party members with Hero of the Veilguard status and more to come soon- I still can't get any banter from them). What's made this matter more urgent is now I've got another pair that suddenly isn't triggering banter either- Taash and Emmrich. It's bad enough I'm missing out on one 'pair' of banter, but two pairs? And Emmrich and Taash have great banter. (And again, they're not out of options! Hell, back with Davrin/Harding, even if I WAS out at that point, there's been enough major missions/companion stuff for both of them that new banter should have been added at some point since the issue started, but nope, still radio silence when I take them out) It's really killing my motivation to play any further. What if I lose still more pairs? Please tell me there's a way to sort this out.
Game Asking for Activation after quitting game
I just installed DAV through XBox Game Pass. Installation went fine, and I can play the game just fine for 3 hours before I quit the game. A few hours later, I run the game again through EA launcher and I keep getting this window instead. My EA launcher is online, I've tried filling the form and click "Sign In" and it's just redirect me to the open EA launcher. If I tried to click "Play" again, the same activation window opens up, and it's a repeat. I've clicked "Open Origin.com" which opened a new Edge tab/browser and even make sure I'm logged in in that session and NOT closing it (in case it matters) and then tried signing in again the activation window but it's the same thing. I've tried repairing the game installation through EA launcher, but it's still giving me activation window on "Play". Tried "App Recovery" feature of EA launcher, but DAV still giving me activation window. System: Windows 11, XBox PC Game Pass.Dragon Age: The Veilguard Annihilation in arlathan trophy bugged on ps5
So I was doing some trophies for my platinum on PS5 and the trophy named Annihilation in arlathan didn’t pop, I checked 2/3 times to see if I was doing everything correctly and I was. I did some research and tried a bunch of things but no success. I’m writting this to see if something can be made because I really like this game and want to do the platinum trophy
Dragon Age: Veilguard DLC Still Missing After 11 Months
EA_David EA_Shepard Just posting here again because I honestly don’t know where else to go with this and I'm sick of having this issue. The DLC I purchased for Dragon Age: The Veilguard is not showing up in my game. It was there last night for a brief moment, then disappeared again. I haven’t changed anything on my end and it’s been like this since release, so we’re coming up on 11 months now where I am having issues with the DLC based off of EA's entitlements issue. I've tried everything I possibly can on my end to fix this: - Verified the game files - Uninstalled and reinstalled the game - Cleared cache - Logged out and back in - Checked my EA account (DLC shows as owned) - Purchased an EA Play membership - Spoke with a bunch of EA support agents - Talked to other players on forums, Reddit, and Discord Still nothing. The DLC just doesn’t show up in-game, even though I paid for it and my account says I own it. Again, it showed up briefly last night, then vanished again for no reason. Every support agent I have spoken to have said the game and the DLC do not show up on my account as owned. I’ve spoken with several EA support agents. Most just repeated the same generic troubleshooting steps that I had already done multiple times. None of them had any idea what was actually going on. No one could escalate the issue or give me any clear next steps. Community members and managers have tried to help too but everyone’s stumped. This is EA Support stating that the game and DLC do not show up in my account: The DLC showing I have it installed and that I own it: Deluxe Edition owned (bought in August 2024): Images of the DLC being locked: Images of the DLC working last night for a few minutes (which has now disappeared again): It’s not just me either. There are plenty of other players dealing with the same thing and it seems like we’ve all just been left hanging. I live in Australia, and under Australian Consumer Law, companies are legally required to provide what customers have paid for. If you sell content and then fail to deliver it, that’s a serious issue. I’ve paid for something that I don’t have access to, and EA hasn’t done anything to resolve it for almost a year. We either need a proper response from someone who actually understands this issue, confirmation that EA is aware of it and are working on a fix, or some kind of compensation or complete refund. At this point I feel like I’ve tried everything and gotten nowhere. EA, please step up and take responsibility for this.
Character Appearance Issue: Male Human → Female Qunari
Game Title: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Platform: PC Version: V.141782 Issue Description: I encountered a serious character appearance bug in the game. My initial character was created as a Male Human. During gameplay, I never modified the character’s appearance or race. Yesterday, when I loaded a save file, I noticed that my character’s head was missing (the body was visible, but the head did not render). I did not restart the game and continued playing. During this session, the game performed an auto-save. Today, when I loaded the auto-save from yesterday, my character’s appearance had completely changed into a Female Qunari, which was not my original setup. Steps to Reproduce: Create a character: Male Human. Play normally without modifying appearance. Load an existing save → character’s head disappears. Continue playing and trigger an auto-save. Load the auto-save the next day → character appearance changes to Female Qunari. Expected Result: The character should remain as a Male Human, and the appearance should not change when loading save files. Actual Result: The character’s appearance changed incorrectly from Male Human to Female Qunari, with additional head rendering issues. Additional Notes: Mods installed: None. Tried restarting the game: Yes. Impact on gameplay: Yes, the character appearance bug significantly affects the gameplay experience.
Soft locked - "Partners in a Dangerous Crime"
Completed much of this quest and reached a locked door after hideout in the market with the braziers. The cafe door is locked, preventing me from progressing further in this quest. Platform: Xbox Series S Game Version: 1.0.21.41573 I've tried to reload save, fast to another location, mix of both, all to no prevail. Below shows the issue. I'm pretty sure the above door is irrelevant, but here's a screenshot of that one too. Notice in the second one, the investigation radius triggered (see minimap). However, I can't get into the actual area.Saves loading error and constant parts not loading
played for like 9 hours and it was fine maybe a slight bit lagging at the end but it was in high density cities so okay. now the next day i could only load a save that was in the lighthouse on low graphics setting and everything takes so long to load in its insane i cant even do some side quests anymore because its just so glitched out??? ive restarted and stuff but there no real solution to this online??? i actually want to play this game yk
Bug in the Lighthouse Puzzle - Missing Pedestal and Whisper Bug
I experiencing a bug in Dragon Age: The Veilguard related to the Lighthouse puzzle. After completing the Music Room puzzle and opening the portal, the pedestal on the balcony does not appear. Despite the portal being open, there is still a whisper (wisp) on the external balcony that I cannot interact with. I have already progressed to Chapter 10, but the third puzzle is still inactive. I have checked and completed the previous puzzles and positioned the wisps I found, but the game seems stuck. I do not have any earlier save files to reload, so I cannot restore progress. I have tried fast traveling away and back and interacting multiple times in the area, but the pedestal still does not spawn. This issue prevents me from advancing further in the Lighthouse questline. Not able to receive items
Whenever I get an item from a quest or chest it doesn’t register. Opening only a chest only shows money and crafting materials, not armour or weapons etc. When I try to trade at a vendor it shows my money deducting and the item flashes as if I’ve bought it, but it remains in the vendors inventory and does not go into my inventory.TCA Airbus Quadrant Conflict with Veilguard (PC – Game Pass via EA App)
Hello, On my PC, I play a variety of games including Veilguard and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. I’ve connected both the Airbus Sidestick and the TCA Airbus Quadrant. However, when launching Veilguard, the camera continuously pans and the character moves in circles without input. After troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue is caused by the TCA Airbus Quadrant. Once I disconnect it from the computer, the problem disappears entirely. While unplugging the device every time I play Veilguard might seem like a workaround, it’s not a practical or sustainable solution. None of my other games—such as Expedition 33, Death Stranding, South of Midnight, Call of Duty, and many others—exhibit this behavior. This suggests the issue is specific to Veilguard and worth investigating further. Repeatedly connecting and disconnecting the TCA Quadrant could potentially cause physical damage to the device or the computer’s port, not to mention the inconvenience. The Game is Unplayable
I have been very busy this year when i finally found time to actually play Veilguard i launched the game only to find it unplayable. Immediately upon launch the game is slow, laggy and stuttering from main page to the actual game my computer is up to date and no settings changes have helped. My Specs: Ryzen 7 9800X3D Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super
I have just about given up.
I finally after MONTHS got a new gaming laptop which allowed me to play this new game which I fell in love with for about 100 hours. NOW it has started crashing at start up and I cannot for the life of me figure out why, I have… updated bios cleared shaders folder reinstalled the entire game twice decreased graphics settings when I did get in to medium only using about 60% of VRAM verified file integrity about 30k times Whats really weird is sometimes it does work, I can get it through and play fine with no crashes or issues. However that isn’t common and at this point I don’t know what to do cause I love this game and am literally on part 12 and want to desperately finish it, but I don’t think I’ll be able to. Computer Specs if needed: nvidia geforce RTX 5060 intel core ultra 7 255H intel(r) arc(tm) 140T gpu (16gb)
