Sims 4 not redownloading in EA app
Hi everyone! I have been dealing with this for over a month now :( Sims 4 first wouldn't load in the EA app so I cleared cache and uninstalled the app, but now it won't install. It says its 'installing' but nothing is happening and I don't know what to do. This screen never changes. I have attached a screenshot of what the download manager in my app has looked like for the past month whenever i try to redownload the sims 4 :( I hope someone can help!! I would be very grateful! (note - I have deleted and reinstalled EA, tried steam, origin and epic games launcher, none of which have worked. I managed to download the game on steam, but it would only work if the game was downloaded on EA too...)
I’m Praying Somebody Can Help!
Hi guys, I hope somebody can help as I have just spent an hour on the live chat with somebody who wasn’t acknowledging what I was saying & kept telling me to come here. I have just redeemed 4 keys for The Sims 3 expansions on EA Play. They all said ‘redeemed successfully’ and 2 of them installed fine. 2 of them however (into the future & island paradise), took me to the product pages and are showing as ‘purchase for £XX.XX’ and there is no trace of them in my purchase history. I waited the recommended half hour before seeking help & still no success. The agent in the live chat confirmed that they were redeemed using my account but was refusing to acknowledge that I don’t have access to them and we spent the last hour going around in circles. I even asked to raise a complaint several times to be told effectively ‘I am going to help you but I can’t promise that you’ll receive any contact, please check social media channels’. I’m praying somebody here can put me in the right direction to access the products that I purchased. I would be incredibly grateful for any help 🙏
Disable EA Overlay through Config File or Windows Registry
I have added an EA Game to Steam as a Non-Steam-Game to play it with the Steam Overlay but I noticed that some games freeze on start when both the EA and Steam Overlay are active. Example for one game: STAR WARS Galaxy of Heroes. I can manually disable the EA Overlay through the app but this option is a global setting and not an individual game setting like it was in Origin. Is it possible that I can disable the EA Overlay through a certain config file or a certain entry in the Windows Registry(if available)? In that case I would run a batch script that disables the EA Overlay through that file or registry entry when I run an EA Game from Steam as a Non-Steam Game to avoid issues with the EA Overlay and reactivate it once the Non-Steam-Game is closed. If someone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated.
Unable to purchase "as a gift" packs
I finally got my boyfriend into Sims so I wanted to buy him a few packs. We both play on Mac so I used the EA app and EA website searching for some way to gift him packs. I own every pack and I don't have any options for gifting. Someone please make this make sense. I included a picture of what I see from my end. I have been playing for years and clearly remember where the option used to be. Its just not anymore.Money charged, get nothing
Hey, I bought a game Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Deluxe Edition inside the EA app, money charged but get nothing, and get status "Your payment failed. Make sure your payment method isn't expired and your info is entered correctly.". I've tried do the same on the site and it worked. But I didn't receive money back for failed transaction. How can I get my money back?payment options
We Egyptian gamers really appreciate your offers on Egypt's store , I even want to purchase on summer sale about 3 games from your store but there's a bit problem , we can't buy anything from international stores or subscribe in any service without credit card duo to some economic problems . It's rare to find someone has a credit card and if you made someone puy you a game , you ban the account. and we can't even purchase games with any debit card or virtual wallets the only way to purchase a game is having a credit card or go to someone online to buy it to you (it might be a scam and I know many happened this to them ) many gamers like me want to buy from your stores but we can't because of this so please make a local payment option .
Can expansions bought in Steam be used in Origin?
My daughter is playing Sims 4 on Origin and that's where she has her other expansions, but on steam there is an expansion she wants (cats and dogs) that is 60 percent off. If I buy that on steam can she play that expansion through origin? I looked online and some sites said it does work and some sites say they are separate islands and expansions purchased on steam won't work on Origin and vice versa. I'm a parent managing my 10-year-old daughter’s gaming accounts through family/parental controls. She started playing Sims4 on a PS5 using the PlayStation login option. Now she’s switching to a Mac (M4), and we’ll be selling the PS5 soon. We’re now stuck because of one of two issues — solving either would let us move forward: EA App on Mac shows nothing When logging in via her PlayStation-linked account, the EA App on Mac is completely empty — no games, no store, nothing. Even after temporarily disabling all PlayStation parental controls, the app stays blank. Can’t “promote” her EA account We tried converting her PlayStation-linked EA account into a regular EA login tied to her email (keeping her current User ID, friends, etc.), but when we try to create a child account from my parent account, we get the error: "User ID already in use." We understand we'll need to repurchase Sims4 add-ons on the Mac (which is disappointing, EA), but right now, we just want to move forward in one of these two ways: Either fix the EA App so it works with her current login Or convert her PlayStation-based EA account into a full EA account Any help would be greatly appreciated — thank you!I cannot sign in when upgrading to a teen account.
When I open the ea app it pops up with a notification saying "Sign up for your teen account." So I click next and enter my email, then it says the email is already in use. It has a button to sign in so I click that and it takes me back to the same pop up with no way to sign into my original account. Any help would be great! Please and thank you. I have already tried to login on the website, which works but doesn't transfer to the actual app.
sims 4 add ons
I just got the bundle where you can choose a expansion pack, game pack and stuff pack. I chose what I wanted and I only got one of them and it was the game pack. I got charged from the bundle and save and it took my money, but I didn't receive the expansion pack or the stuff pack at all. I looked them up and it shows that they are not in my library and shows me that I need to buy them again. I really need help. Also I don't know how to add an screenshot.The linux question
Hi I'am an appasionate of the battlefield series that I've started on the ps4, then I got myself a pc (with windows of course) now it hjas been a few years that I'm using linux. I get all my games from steam and for me it's not a problem if they use a third party app to launch, the problem for me is when they don't start. So my question is: why doesn't EA do something to fix the issue of his app on the GNU/linux system, when they've been able to port their launcher on MacOs. On linux there are already many technologies to translate the games instructions for linux. On the EA forums I couldn't find any post or any announcement that EA is porting its launcher for the GNU/Linux system, does someone knows if there are plans for this? (I apologize for any syntax error as english is not my mother language) ______ [CM] - Moved from EA app IT to EA app EN. Please post in the appropriate language boards!
OTHER Payment Methods
Should EA include other payment methods except Credit cards like Debit cards , UPI etc in India ????? want to play , but i dont use credit cards and whenever i proceed : it says try again later or contact support or use other payment method, whereas their isnt any ; only credit cards available. But previously about 2 years back whenever i use to proceed in buying from EA App i use to input my debit cards details in there and proceed further and it was accepted by EA but now it has been removed i guess . i thought of not buying from steam , epic or any third party app , came to EA App directly but now this is the situation ;/ Anyone of you agree with this please support
Will I Lose EA Games or DLC Bought on Epic if EA and Epic Cut Ties?
Hello, I’ve bought several EA games and DLC through the Epic Games Store, and they launch via the EA App. I’d like to know: 👉 If Epic and EA were to end their partnership in the future, will I still be able to launch and play the EA games or DLC I purchased through Epic, assuming my Epic and EA accounts are still linked? 👉 Or could I lose the ability to access and play those games or DLC, even though I purchased them legally through Epic Games? I want to ensure I don’t lose access to the games I paid for. I’m not asking about refund policies, just whether ownership and playability would still be supported under my EA account if the partnership ends. Thanks in advance for clarifying.
