Major Content For Future Updates
Good Morning EA. My username is GeneralZ9500. I am a passionate player and fan of the Plants vs Zombies games. This essay is to suggest and inform the developers of PvZ 2 about future content that I along with many other players in the PvZ 2 community, especially PvZ 2 you-tubers, want to see added into future updates. Before I discuss the major topics at hand, I want to make a note that I understand the time it takes for these updates to be made and I will try to stay patient. I am using this report as constructive information to help benefit this game to other players to make it more enjoyable, and to help it gain more popularity. One last thing I will be linking some videos to this essay to provide visual evidence as to the content I want to see in the future. Without further ado lets jump in to the details. World Extension Levels/Extra Hard World Levels: In Plants vs Zombies 2 some worlds have harder levels as an extension to the world that players can complete for gems. While they do sound good the way they are, not all worlds have an extension. Instead of making them limited time modes they should be extended to the end of each world on the maps of each respective world. Instead of 8 levels there should be 10 levels or longer to make them longer and more fun. Also there should be an extension for every world in the game because the following worlds do not have them: Dark Ages, Neon Mix tape Tour, Lost City, Frostbite Caves, and Big Wave Beach. This also means more new zombies that can be in Penny's Pursuit and Arena as well as new plants to obtain in these hard levels. Some people might ask that would let a person get unlimited gems. Well I have a solution. Every player can play the extensions 1 time for 100 gems and then they have to wait a week or two before they can earn gems be playing them again. I have actually seen you tubers playing these game modes in private levels. Here is a video for each world's extension along with the boss battles to give a visual of what I'm talking about. The problem is that the international version available to most players/youtubers including does not have a level editor. I believe that the international version needs a level editor becuase it is a good way for rookie players to test their skills against zombies using plants they don't own in the other game modes. They can use this to prepare themselves for Arena, Penny's Pursuit, World Expansions, and future zombies in the adventure mode that are rather dangerous while also setting goals and other limitations to test their skill while having to adapt. They could then save these levels as good works of creativity. It is also a good way to be creative and use what the developers have given them to make great levels for themselves. Additonally the player should be able to create custom zombies and plants to spice the gamemode even more. I have a video outlining how it works and why it is fun to play. Sadly, I could not find custom plants and zombies tutorial without special files but I'm sure there is a way to make it happen. These worlds should make an appearance because it would allow the player to get introduced to the plants and zombies associated with them before they have too when the zombies have higher health and a faster eating time. It also allows for more bosses and as I said earlier Expansion levels. Also, these plants, zombies, objects, bosses, and the lawns of each respective worlds can be tested in the level editor as well. I do not need videos to explain the limited time world that already exist but I will showcase worlds that are not in the game. Plants like Ice Shroom, Sea Shroom, Cattail, Cob Cannon, Doom Shroom, and others should make an appearance in pvz2. Meanwhile Zombies such as, Pole Vaulters, Jack in the Box Zombies, Digger Zombies, and others are worthy of apperance in Pvz 2. This would allow players to play against familiar zombies in Arena and Penny's Pursuit. Remember they are also more elements to the level editor gamemode. Some of the videos above showcase zombies from PvZ 1 that are not accessible to everyone. Minigames: This topic regards Minigames and special game modes like I Zombie and Level Editor. There are some levels in worlds here and there that have a little twist. However, just like in PVZ 1 there is a whole section of minigames that I think should be added to PVZ 2. This would include special levels like I Zombie and other levels that have a specific theme that makes it special. This would help the player use their strategy to correspond with the twists and elements of the mini game some of which could be used in level editor. In the some of the videos of the level editor, it includes the I Zombie minigame. Accesiblity to all devices: My last topic is to make PVZ 2 accessible to all devices including all PC;s, Computers, and Laptops that are up to date, as well as consoles
A "Thank you" to EA Help.
On Monday evening my Sumsung tablet died. I was on Reddit when the tablet reset itself. A couple of minutes later It then went off and became totally unresponsive, so I purchased a replacement on the Tuesday. After all the rigmarole of setting up the new tablet, and the seemingly interminable downloading of updates, I finally got around to installing PvsZ2. When I ran it, the first thing I did after the usual preliminary steps was tap the game-pad symbol to sync with Google Play Store. It seemed like everything was okay. I had my GPS username appear, followed by the pane that lists my name and the email account associated with PvsZ2. However, when I hit [Play], I was treated as a new player! No matter what I tried, nothing worked. I tried 'Force stopping', clearing the data, uninstalling and reinstalling. The ONLY thing I couldn't do was sync with my old tablet, because it's as dead as the Dodo. I contacted EA Help. They replied in minutes, asking a few questions. I replied, and was happily surprised when, within the hour, I had a reply to say everything should be in place on the new tablet - which it was. I know we often have go at EA Help, but this time they came up trumps in next to no time. :eahigh_file: Guys!
WHAT DO WE WANT?
I read Haemophilus' post on reddit about the new update and apparently we wanted mastery and the favourite plant feature. I'm not bothered about the favourite plant feature but i don't like mastery, I've spent a lot of time and effort getting a few of my plants maxed out and don't like being told that they're not actually maxed out yet but require huge numbers of coins to keep up with those that use it. Levelling up plants has ruined adventure mode levels, they're far too powerful and mastery is just going to make it worse. This is a work in progress so I'll add things as i think of them. *I think a high level powermint, say 7 or above, should turn into a plantfood when it disappears, which would help justify the extremely high cost in mints needed to upgrade to those levels. *allow players with multiple profiles to exchange resources between their own profiles💎💰✋🍬 *if someone buys seed packet pinatas or bundles then with cash then give them say 10 or 20k coins to help with the upgrading costs.💰💵💸 *have powermints above level 4 turn into a plantfood when they finish. *every time you bring out a new plant it means there are fewer seed packets for the others, raise the number and value of pinata party, daily quest and inzanity rewards (3 is just cheap). *I suggest that those players who use mastery be put in their own league that should be crEAted for that purpose. *I would like both streaks AND battlez league standing to be able to be saved or recovered as a priority (my biggest gripe). *I would like to be able to reload my last battlez layout to save time, i would also like to be able to select a plant, and just keep on planting it until i tap on something else to save even more time. *Reddit has a paid, professional pvz2 moderator who will answer questions if asked, so why can't the official forum have either her or someone else do it? *The EA help center is not good at actually helping players with problems and just lately have been sending them back to the forums for answers, you can either get them to do their jobs properly or pay us to do it. *Reinstate gem drops in endless and vasebreaker mode, don't have to be big, just as long as they're there.💎 *sort out the bugs, i have the feeling that this update was rushed to meet a U.S. holiday deadline, and if so you shot yourselves in the foot. This is an old game, there's no new content that people are expecting but updates should be done RIGHT, Late is better than wrong. *get rid of those chEAp silver 10 coins, they make you look chEAp(er). *replace the each 10 silver coin given for a saved lawnmower with one gem 💎 *replace mints with crowns to buy powermints, win your own score every week.👑 *Tell us what's happening BEFORE it happens, there is a news icon in pvz2 so why does nobody use it to keep us informed? Why do i have to go to reddit to find out what's going on? *simplify the purchase of seeds and powermints possibly with a sliding scale- there's too much tapping involved. *put already released power mints and their seed packets back in the store on a permanent basis. *round up the rewards for battlez prizes, round numbers always look better. Hi I wanted to share a problem with Plants vs. Zombies 2 and its updates... So, plants vs. Zombies 2 says "in order to play arena or penny's pursuit, I have to update the game". So then I click the mode and it says " update plants vs. Zombies 2? " and I click yes and it now prompts me to the update page where I can update plants vs. Zombies 2. But it doesn't show the option to update plants vs. Zombies 2 it just says " open " and so I can't play either Arena or penny's pursuit on plants vs. Zombies 2 Extra info: - I am on IOS - Use an iPad with not the latest version of the app store ( also doesn't let me update the app store ) Please if you can help with this issue I will happily take the advice from this community Thank you 🙂
COSTUME WATCH 👀
Players keep on bemoaning the lack of costumes in the store, i accidentally created a new profile that is costume free so i will post the daily costumes. I'm in the UK🇬🇧 and would like to point out that costumes have no fighting advantages (whatever fandom says to the contrary), there may be more than one costume for any particular plant and you cycle through them by tapping the little green t-shirt at the top right hand corner. They are purely cosmetic and are usually in the store on a daily basis, but if you already have a particular costume then it won't show up in the store.
