Tapped Out Taps - Still Missing Characters
Hello everyone. After the release of Taps 5, does anyone still have characters missing? To name a few, all the Broadwalk Entertainers, The Pests and Dr Hibbert's Son are still unobtainable for me. After speaking EA Help they advised posting here: Thanks for waiting. It seems like a bug in the game in this case I would request you to report this on EA forum so that the officials have information about this issue, and they can take appropriate actions. Moreover, I will also go ahead and mark feedback on this as per your words.
Unable to buy donuts with in game cash
I completed the quest for the last update but I can’t get the option to buy the donuts with in game cash, I uninstalled it and tryed again but it doesn’t work. I just want to complete my town with those donuts coz I have so much in game cash. As in the attachment I don’t have to donut for in game cash option even when I finished it all
Cannot connect to server
I am not sure what I am doing wrong it keeps telling me that I cannot connect to the servers no matter how many times I close the application and sign back in. Keeps giving me the code (4.68.5:29:105105-ee22146f-b4fb66c3) the last time it did something like this was during the Great Burnsy quest and I wasn’t able to get back in until it updated and the quest was over. Has this happened to anyone else and or do you have the solution?
Stolen Donuts
The final update added the ability to spend cash on donuts. Naturally I funneled all the ingame cash I had into as many donuts as I can buy only to find that the store had been rinsed of content including the yearbook which was now gone. But I bought everything I could and completed the ending quest line to see that more had been added. After this I accidentally clicked the button to visit friends Springfields and upon returning to my own Springfield found that the over 8000 donuts I had had been reduced to only 3. In addition to this the option to buy donuts with cash has vanished too meaning I can't get any more.
Missing shop content!!
Me and my friend, who both started playing the same time are missing permanent premium items that should in the store: These include: ~Buildings: -Kamp krusty -Film set -Museum of natural history -Unfinished Shed -Unoriginal Log ride -The happy sumo -Preparatory school -Springfield Clamphitheater -Florence of Arabia -Rancho relaxo -Springfield YMCA -Vesuvius pizza -Malibu Stacy Headquarters -Stacy’s dream house -Powers house -Woosterfield Hotel -Powell Mansion -Platos Republic casino -Springfield museum ~Characters -all characters associated with above buildings Me and my friend both have this issue and ea support chat worker told me to post about it here. Pls helpLocked out after latest update.
The latest/final update stopped me logging in. I’ve tried the usual steps: Updating the IOS Deleting and reinstalling Using mobile instead of wifi Installing on another device Logging out and logging in again None of it makes any difference. As soon as I tap to enter there’s a couple of seconds of swirly donut then the game crashes. EA sends me to these forums or suggests I raise a ticket in the game (the game I can’t get into). It’s bad enough my favourite mobile game for the last 10 years is stopping but not being able to finish it… so frustrating. Any help, would really be appreciated.
Progress Lost, Buildings Disappeared and Donuts Lost
I purchased donuts and was progressing in the game until one day a bunch of my buildings disappeared and my level dropped from 39 to 38. However my donuts spent on the yearbook mystery boxes were still gone. I contacted EA support and was told this would be resolved quickly and have been patiently waiting for over 10 days now... To quote my transcript from the EA advsior: " Do not worry. All the contents are showing there on the account and the most recent back up of your progress is also showing level 38 only. To investigate on this, I will report this case to the team along with this case so they can investigate on it. This would be resolved very soon." Please get this fixed!!!
Unable to set birth date when loading game
New glitch, started a few days ago, never seen it before in my 10+ years of playing. I am using an IOS iPad, and recently I have come across this glitch that does not let me enter my date. When I select the month/year box and scroll through the numbers to enter my a date, I am unable to submit any number. I have restarted and reinstalled the game several times, neither do a trick, and this issue is not going away. You cannot load the game past this point, the game forces you to do this before logging in or downloading the game's content. In short terms: The button to submit/confirm the number is missing. This seems more like a tech issue than an account issue. I've talked to EA, and I have been pointed to the forums so that a DEV may see this post and be able to take a look. I've added an attachment of the problem. The red circle on the right is where a "done" option is supposed to be to confirm the number you chose. As you can see, it is not there. I was hoping the mini-update before the "A Bart Future" event would fix it. My only hope now is that the update for the actual "A Bart Future" event might do the trick, but no high hopes.2 months same error report. No one from ea has an answer.
2 months ago I got a server error. Doesn’t matter what device I use the same report pops up every time I try to log in. I’ve been playing for 10 years so this is annoying. I’ve live chatted with numerous ea people and no one has helped. Major bug **bleep** going on . Error (4.69.0:29:105105-ee22146f-b4fb66c3) all the live chat people had. N O answer and the latest guy today told me to post here
Deep Space Homer Pt7
I’ve tried to contact EA about this but they keep directing me to this forum. I’ve got to part 7 of the ‘Deep Space Homer/ Cheap Space Homer’ quest and it’s task is it make Homer launch the rocket but there is no action button. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app, logged out and logged back in, stored and replaced the landing pad but nothing has worked. I’ve looked on Reddit and other EA forums and this issue has happened before but I’m not sure if there was any fix. I’ve attached a picture of the quest with no action button to hopefully make this make sense. Any help would be appreciated because I’m sick of going round in circles!!
2 issues and some suggestions
See attachment to understand my issues and suggestions. ADD ME: onlytyler222 Issue 1: I have a Samsung tablet, the game was fine until recently. Now trying to place storage or roads or rails, the game freezes and 1 minute later unfreezes. I made enough RAM storage, about 2-3GB free and still have the issue. My phone has 8 RAM GB storage with 3 or 4 always available(Samsung feature to have 2,4,6,8GB of RAM). Happens on my phone too, although to a lesser degree. Using sky finger, it lags so I'll go visit a friend's town and go back and everything is collected Issue 2: more of an annoyance than issue, but when you place roads, I double up (1 lane each way) and usually creates a median with the 2 sidewalks side by side. Doesn't matter how much road I make like this, or how long I leave the game on for, the 'median' disappears when the game fully restarts(friend's towns and back, or quickly going to another app and back to game doesnt create this issue), every road square is broken up. I understand there's no cars to use the space to turn into driveways or such lol but I do like to place houses perfecly for driveways to align with the media, (although cars driving along roads like the monorail train does would be cool). To me, it looks nicer when the 2 roads side by side aren't undivided unless it's an intersection. Where my highway and road meets looks like a disaster, pavement and road barricades to separate the 'lanes'. Suggestion 1: with the side pieces of the modern mansions being allowed to rotate 4 directions, every other thing in the game can't. Please add this ability. Suggestion 2: allow lamp posts to go on the sidewalk of the roads, the rails can go on it (I find it's perfect spot for the rails, on the median of my double upped roads) Suggestion 3: allow more ornate tiles to be made and allow the pier to stretch out more, its so narrow lol I get that we have the width of the entire map but very little water in front of the beach. Suggestion 4: allow rivers under cobblestone and other roads Suggestion 5: allow stop signs on the beach or road sidewalk..... Suggestion 6: this current future event has the prize of a futuristic traffic light after so much event currency, I can't find it in the store, which sucks because I'd love to have more. They(or modern traffic lights) would be a perfect fit on the road sidewalks...... Suggestion 7: please allow Rivers to go through the mountains, I think I had a glitch or something as I have that near the beach (4 big land squares away), with the monorail tunnel. I moved it during my huge remodeling of the city and placed it farther away but I can't have the river go through the mountains or around the tunnel. Suggestion 8: can we have the roads integrated with the highway tiles, so it doesn't look horrible Suggestion 9: I can't remember where i got the fake toll booth, but i have one and its not available in the store or the previous items 'vault', bring it back so i can add more to my highway and stuff Suggestion 10: last one I swear (for now aha), Increase the amount of donuts you can get with bonus level ups, 3 isn't much, as well as, increase the cash you can win with the scratches, the jackpot is basically pennies lol, and perhaps a slight chance of winning say 5 donuts as the actual grand prize, so I'm not forced to buy a golden ticket for donuts. I've played this for almost 10 years and spent over $1,000 of my real money into this game, I'm a bit surprised we don't already have some of these suggested features.....
