FPS Drop When Facing Certain Direction

After the latest update (June 24), Apex performance dropped heavily on my system. I used to get stable 145–230 FPS across all maps, I now get 40–80 FPS when facing certain directions, but 300 FPS when looking elsewhere.
I’ve tried multiple AMD drivers (including 25.6.1, 24.3.1, 24.8.1 WHQL), reinstalled Windows and Apex, cleared all game configuration files like videoconfig.txt and tested all relevant launch options and autoexec tweaks. Nothing has fixed the issue. This doesn’t happen in other games that I tested.

Windows 11 23H2 (fully updated)

    Downgrading my Asrock motherboard BIOS version from the latest version to version 8.01 BETA solved my fps problem. Although previously I used the latest version from early 2025 and everything was running normally before the S25 split 2 update. It seems there is something with the latest apex update and bios version.

    Still no solution? It seems that apex will automatically abandon some users every season.

    Congratulations, you fixed this problem by rolling back the BIOS? Does the GPU work harder than before when running the game? I just have a very low GPU usage.

    Yeah, rolling back solved my problem. When I was still having issue, my CPU was working harder than my GPU, but now it's back to normal.

    I have the same issue i tried everything but like everything even underclocking my gpu etc.Didnt figure out why is this happening normally i've got 200+fps but sometimes it drops to 80-100 consistantly when i turned around or turned somewhere.Apex used to be perfectly optimised but these days this game feel like **bleep** i had 3k+hours and dont wanna play the game cause of this **bleep**ty bug making the game unplayable.
