Banned for "gameplay enhancement"
Well it finally happened.... after seeing all these people say they are legit and getting banned for "gameplay enhancement" I am now one of those people. I can sit here and talk about how I'm legit and never used anything but until it actually happens to you its hard to think that there are this many false positives. Crossing my fingers that the appeal process works but not holding my breath.
Random Apex Ban
I've been playing Apex since before season one in 2019, never have touched any hacks or anything like that, my account has 850+ hours. I recently decided to get back into the game, and after a day of playing, I received a lifetime ban. I've seen other people also get banned for no apparent reason. I'm so lost, and of course the ai chat bot can't help. I miss the days when ea chat would connect you to someone. If anyone can help with this situation that'd be great. Thanks.,
Stuck on Matchmaking AGAIN
Not sure what's going on at EA end but once again today we are stuck at matchmaking, multiple Twitter/X threads already showing it's happening to alot of people. Please EA can we just play for a full 24 hours without this happening. You gladly take our money for Battle pass, for skins etc. But the quality of product that you are putting out has been going downhill the last couple of years. We don't mind spending money, we do mind a poor product delivered.
Does Anyone Else Use Lighting Effects?
Just wondering if its an issue with my PC or if it is happening to other players as well, but my keyboard and mouse won't use the Apex lighting effects, (and when I restart the game, the setting would automatically turn itself off). I know my keyboard and mouse are compatible with the lighting effects as The Sims 4 and Fortnite will take control of my keyboard and mouse's lighting and I had the lighting effects working for Apex before in the past. For those who don't know, the lighting effects changes the color of the keyboard and mouse based off of the environment and other game events. For example: When selecting a legend, the lighting will match a color theme for that legend, (a purple color for Wraith, greenish-yellow for Octane, etc.) When healing, the lighting will go red and then light up green from left to right, taking over the red, (which it does this with reviving as well) When moving to a different part of the map, the lighting will change to match the area When getting knocked, the lighting would flash, go out, and then be red While not really important or needed to play the game, the lighting effect is just something I enjoy. Its also possible that its an issue with Razer Synapse, (although I've already tried repairing/reinstalling Razer Synapse).
False Ban – No Penalty History, Cannot Appeal
I got banned on Apex, but my EA Penalty History is completely empty. When I launch the game, it says my user is banned, but there’s no listed violation and no proper way to appeal it. I’ve already submitted cases, but I keep getting responses that are clearly for player reports, not ban appeals. I have not used cheats. Has anyone else had a ban with no penalty showing at all? Did it get resolved? I’ve seen posts where people were unbanned later without explanation, so I’m wondering if this is a system error or false ban. I know some of you might think I've done something wrong. If I read this post 1 day ago id say the same / think the same. But please help, i dont understand why I cannot even appeal? Added pic of the response i get everytime i try to create a ticket from "https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/"
Unbanned After “Gameplay Enhancement” Ban (No Explanation)
Hello, I wanted to share an update on my ban in case it helps others in similar situation. My account has been unbanned and there is no longer a penalty on it. I did not recieve any notification, I found out when I checked my penalty history today. My Apex account was permanently banned on 20th Feb 2026 with the reason "Gameplay Enhancement." I submitted multiple appeals, all of them were denied with the standard response that the sanction was correctly applied. After first couple appeals I made a post here in the forums get some answers, rant, and find similar cases and there are a lot of them indeed. My first post: Account-banned-for-competitive-advantage My rant: Actual-reason-for-gameplay-enhancement-ban-wave My last post: 10th-appeal-denied--dissappointed After my 10th appeal, I had no option left to contact TOS team, I did submit multiple forms but I got no response. I still don't know what caused the ban. However here are some points to consider before you lose all hope. - All Appeals being denied does not always mean the case is final (so don't be dissappointed) - Some bans may be reviewed later or reversed without communication (if you didn't cheat) If you are in a similar situation, please document your case. Download your Apex account data from EA's website. In your appeals ask for the actual detailed reason for the ban - if you still get your appeal denied then don't spam, allow the team to look into the issue. NOTE: DO NOT GET A REFUND ON YOUR PURCHASES IT WILL VIOLATE TOS AND YOUR ACCOUNT IS COOKED Also, before I got unbanned, someone I know on reddit also got their ban removed without any notification as well and earlier multiple streamers got their bans revoked for the same gameplay enhancement ban. I hope TOS shares an update on this matter asap as so many people are dealing with the same situation. ** I didn't not get in touch with any EA dev or anyone internally. Dear Support Team, I am writing to respectfully request a review of my account ban. I have been a dedicated player since the very beginning of the game, playing on both Xbox and PlayStation. Over the years, I have invested a significant amount of time into the game, reaching more than 75,000 kills and achieving Prestige 3 with a level above 600. I have also earned the Apex Predator rank multiple times, which reflects my commitment and experience. I want to clearly state that I have never used cheats, exploits, or any unauthorized software. The only time I played outside of standard modes was in Bot Royale (including evolved versions), purely to test sensitivities and improve my gameplay in a controlled environment. Additionally, I believe my account may have been compromised recently, which could explain any suspicious activity that led to this ban. If there has been any irregular behavior, it was not caused by me. I kindly ask you to thoroughly review my account history and reconsider this ban. I am fully willing to cooperate and provide any additional information if needed. With the increase in ring dmg... no more heat shields... like please... here is another eff you. So i res my team in the ring because we had a prolonged fight. I die from the res timer to 0 -_-. They respawn me on the edge right before next closing. I get 5 seconds to get in ring as its closing post spawn. C'mon. This is the worst and most silly thing you implemented in the longest time. ive thought of a legend that could maybe be added to the game as a controller. this legend would be called Echo and what they would do is throw a small disc or grenade that take possession of opposing teams traps such as taking watson fences caustic traps and catalysts spike for a certain period of time it would not work on enemy ultimates such as watsons pylon or horizons black hole. it is a small radius it so if i threw it into a room any trap on the radius would flip on them for around 7 seconds and has 15 second cooldown. the evolution upgrades i thought for blue shield would make the radius bigger and for the other option make it last a few seconds longer and for purple it would make the time for the the disc/grenade to go off quicker and other option would be a faster ultimate cooldown. for the ultimate i thought if you cant throw your tactical at them you could throw your ultimate and it would send waves of damage slowing the enemies down and dealing damage to there traps. please take this into consideration and hope to hear back thank you.Buy Pack Glitch
When i went to buy beam saber packs it showed the price for them so i bought around $100 bucks worth of coins bought 4 packs of the beam saber that was intentional then while i was still on the beam saber event i went to purchase again and it bought rod packs even though i was on beam saber event i have full video footage of this clip I didn’t realize until i went back of each event that it did that but thankfully my screen was recordingAudio getting worse every split
Congratulations. I don't know how you did it, but you did it. You made audio worse... Oh look we made it so you can hear your teammates 1000% clearer now behind you. wow great. No audio on the left right center until they within 5 meters of you and then you just get whacked. But don't worry you can hear your big old NC behind you thump thump thump. We fixed it bois! We got better audio on everything that didn't need to get better is better but everything that actually needs to get better is worse than ever. Thanks guys. Might as well just go silent gaming and make everything muted. Alas, here we are 4 years+ down the road and still can't figure out the audio. I remember I was playing a lot of the april fools matches because that mode was lowkey kind of fun to play, but on this fateful evening I remeber the situation exactly, I landed and killed a Revenant with the akimbo mozambiques and I hit one of those super fast zip lines and the second I got off the zip line I got false banned for cheating, This is a fairly new pc because I reset everything on it, and judging by my stats I am not good enough to just trigger the Anti-Cheat. My reappeals are being denied constantly and I have no idea what to do. Any tips from the community or anyone that has experienced this issue?
