Heavy packet loss in BF2042
Hello, I have in BF2042 heavy packet loss. Sometimes the game runs smoothly, but 80% the % i have heavy lag spikes constantly in-game. Even traffic shows heavy changes. All other games run perfectly, and I don't have network problems. Does anybody have the same issue? What Does 2042 Network Graph Mean?
Hi Guys: I've been having issues when playing 2042. It just locks-up, stutters. Sometimes it plays very well, but not often. Anyway, I displayed the network graph and the bar. When this happens it becomes obvious because the graph just goes off the map. There's different colors in the graph related to different things. I just don't know how to read them. Make note of the red packet icon in the upper left corner. Anybody got any ideas I'd love to have a conversation with you. Thanks
Wheeled warrior not popping
Hello! I would love to be able to get the platinum of this game and wheeled warrior is my last trophy missing and even although I have completed the requirements and obtained T1 with LATV4 and Pondhawk didn’t get no trophy yet. I will keep playing this amazing get and eventually get more vehicles to T1 but is there anything that can be done about it? I have tried several ways to try to unlock it like launching random games, getting them to level 41 or waiting some days and nothing seems to work. Any advice or fixed on this matter would help a lot. I know other people have the same issue.Newest update 9.2.0 makes game lag horribly
bf2042 version 9.2.0 makes the game extremely laggy to the point its unplayable to the point I have to hit alt f4 the game ran flawlessly before this update so it’s going to be almost impossible to complete the challenges to unlock items on the free pass EA needs to send out a patch to fix this issue because I’ve turned down graphics settings and shut others off and my internet connection is perfectly good
Why do we have to do 100 things to play BF2042?
Namely EAAnticheat error 0xC0000005 errors constantly with a crashing BF2042 game completely closing. Over the last2 months all I have been doing is trying to play BF2042 and chasing fixes for this problem. Some days are better than others with no changes made. Is EA actually trying to fix this??
Banned account
I've also posted this in the general discussion but thought I would share it here also to potentially have some sort of response: My account was randomly banned on Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 2042. I wanted to go back to these games after having fun playing the BF6 beta. Last time I played Battlefield 1 was towards the end of 2023, but after trying to sign to play in August of this year I was notified that my account has been banned from playing on July 1st. I honestly didn't think this was a massive issue as I had 2042 I could still play. I was able to play 2042 for maybe 2-3 days before I got another message saying that I was banned from 2042 as well. I appealed both bans through EA help only to have my Battlefield 1 appeal closed, their reasoning was "this is a duplicate of an existing appeal" and I can't resubmit. My appeal for 2042 was also denied. I asked for reasoning as to why the account was banned, the best they came up with was "Violating User Agreement" or using "Gameplay Enhancements". I've asked that if they have the means, please review my gameplay for the proof that I have not used any exploits or cheats of any kind. I never use in game chat and exclusively talk with my friends through discord. The appeal was denied again. "We have received your most recent correspondence expressing concerns about the action that was taken on your account. After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures. Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account." I refuse to buy Battlefield 6 because of this. Absolutely no specific reason was given to what I have done to violate their terms. If anyone else has had a similar experience and had it rectified please let me know
BF 2042 random crashes (DirectX DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG), AMD Adrenalin 25.9.1
Crash happens in almost every battle. Drivers (GPU/Adrenalin and chipset) were installed cleanly, with previous removal of old ones (both in the usual way and with AMD Cleanup Utility) and clean installation of new ones. Any graphics settings in the game were tested, no difference in crashes was noticed. The system is fine, all its files and game files are checked, and it is also completely stable in many other projects, including uses DX12 (even Battlefield 5). No additional settings were made to the game through Adrenaline (except for the "frame rate target control" frame limiter). The crash manifests itself in the same way both with GPU undervolting and with stock values. I noticed that the crash occurs most often and quickly on the new "Iwo Jima" map. I'm attaching Reddit threads describing similar problems. Judging by them, the problem is present on any AMD/Nvidia video card model, and each one solves it in a completely different way - be it specific driver versions (in this case, different versions help in each case), specific Windows settings, overlays, overclocking, and even BIOS. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that often the problem is not solved at all. Affects both 2042 and BF6. Fix the game/engine! Still cant connect to ea servers this game has never worked.
Cant connect to ea servers in battlefield 2042 all of my other games work just fine this game doesn't work on my xbox series s or my xbox series x did ea put a bad download out for battlefield 2042 or something all of my other ea games work except for 2042 they should look into this issue I cant play waste of money.Losing Connection to EA servers
I've been having an issue where I get disconnected from matches after playing for 5-10 minutes (usually 8 minutes exactly). I've been having the issue for the past 2 years and it has occurred on every Battlefield game I own on my PC (BF4, BF1, BF5, BF2042, BF6). I've tried every solution I could find and haven't had any luck and I was wondering if anyone else is still having this issue or better yet if anyone has found a fix for it. I've tried everything I could find online or think of on my own, except wiping my PC and restarting with a fresh install of windows (I've seen posts where people have tried that and it still didn't work). I've also had three different ISP's and the issue has occurred with all of them. I'll attempt to provide an exhaustive list of everything I've tried, but if anyone has any recommendations or experience with this issue and wants to comment that'd be great. Things I've tried in no particular order: Reinstall network drivers (ethernet and WIFI) Reinstall Nvidia drivers and all Intel Drivers Port forwarding Clean install of Steam, EA, and game Allowing anti-cheat and game through firewall Disabling firewall and Virus Scanning Manually updating DNS address (DNS Cache is running) Updating adapter settings to not use Dualband Disabling IPv6 Running EA, anti-cheat, steam, and game as Administrator Disabling .NET 3.5 Disabling .NET 4.8 Upgrading to Windows 11 Downloading the game on different hard-drives Ensuring Secure Boot is on and working Clearing EA and Steam cache consistently Repairing Anti-Cheat and EA App with App Recovery Cleaning out old drivers/programs that are unused Tried Ethernet and WIFI with each ISP (tested disabling the driver for the one I wasn't using as well) Disabling Overlays Enabling Overlays Creating fresh EA and Steam accounts That's all I can think of right now but if I try new things or remember other things I've tried previously, I will update the thread.
SERVER NOT CONNECTING BATTLEFILED 20242 ON PS5

I have exercised all solutions in the following links - with no success. I have also reimaged my machine. After a few minutes of analysis, the problem was solved. Here are the steps that led to the resolution of the problem : - Uninstall completely EAAntiCheat.GameService via EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe ->https://cdn.eaanticheat.ac.ea.com/EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe - Checked and repaired system files via CMD (always open CMD in Administrator) sfc /scannow (In first) DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (in seconde after sfc /scannow is finish) - Checked the VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) via CMD vssadmin list writers Grant full permissions to all users for the files : -> C:\Program Files\EA -> And the folder where the game is located "Battlefield 2042" (may vary) - Restart your computer. - Run EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe, click “Install” for Battlefield 2042. - Then run EADesktop.exe as an administrator (C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop) - And launch the game EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair) Run the System File Checker tool Change UAC Controls within Windows Reset Windows Host File Unplug your modem/router for 5 minutes and attempt to launch again
Low FPS with secure boot until restart
Since using secure boot, every time I start my computer from a cold boot. I get about 25 FPS. I then have to restart my computer every time in order to get normal FPS. I thought there was something wrong with my gigabyte motherboard and took me until now to realize this all started once i started using secure boot! Is there any fix for this? Or am I stuck having to restart every time I use my computer? I already was in contact with gigabyte tech support and ever a back and forth exchange thats when it dawned on me, i enabled secure boot. I mentioned it to them and they stopped communicating. 🙄 This is really ridiculous making people change bios settings and causing issues, at least tell me how i can fix this please. Or get rid of secure boot requirements!
