There's something REALLY WRONG with the team balancing system.
Hi, I’d like to report an obvious issue with the matchmaking and balancing system. I’d like to give today’s example and ask the following question: Why, after 7 MATCHES, this game did let me win JUST ONE?? Now, I don't think I'm that bad of a player. Just to give you an example, I almost always finish in the top 5 on the leaderboards, so I think I can say with relative certainty that while I'm certainly not a top-tier player, I'm at least above average. I'm currently at level S070 and a 1.69 human K/D ratio (DanyEr12LX_2's Battlefield 2042 Overview Stats - Battlefield 2042 Tracker), so it’s a bit suspicious that I almost always end up losing the match. And we’re not talking about close matches... we’re talking about crushing defeats, where almost immediately all sectors were taken over by the enemy, and the match always ends something like 0-500. I’m convinced there’s something wrong with the balancing system. Please look into this and fix the problem because it’s incredibly annoying. Thank you. Conquest Solo/Co-Op Not Loading, Returns To Menu
The option to solo play content against AI has been unavailable for weeks now. It searches a game, finds one, loads, goes to black, back to the menu. It would be nice to be able to play the solo mode again. [Edit: All caps removed from title - ElliotLH]I cant unlock the a10/su25
I have surpassed the requirements to unlock both vehicles but It does not let me unlock. it isnt a short term thing i haven't been able to unlock it since both vehicles came out back in june-july 2022 this happened with me unlocking the Bradley when that originally came out but it resolved in a roughly a week. Both jets haven't resolved. im on windows 11Can’t play Russia On Coop in 2042
So i’ve been playing bf2042 for a while and before i was fine leveling everything up and now i can’t level anything up on the russian side and it kinda frustrating when i only get the us over and over again and i don’t want to play public cause people just hog the jets and helis so i barely get to fly and i would enjoy if this is fixed. thanks have a great dayInformation about the matchmaking algorithm
Good morning everyone, I wanted to ask a specific question to understand certain choices in the game. I wanted to know the logic behind the matchmaking algorithm. As far as I'm concerned, such an algorithm should seek optimal team balance, but its choices often leave me very perplexed, and so I don't know what to think. Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer me. PS: I opened a similar thread in the Italian forum, perhaps criticizing certain choices made by the algorithm, and I never received a response, so I'm opening a thread here too to understand what to expect from each matchmaking process.
Error Player Removed From Game
Whenever I try to join any game, I get this error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I've updated, repaired, and uninstalled the anti-cheat. None of it worked. I can't join any game modes or portal servers. Is there no solution? [Edit: All caps removed from title - ElliotLH]
Dice!!! separate 128 and 64 player mode !!!! (Like this for EA attention)
Please consider separating the 64-player and 128-player Conquest playlists again in Battlefield 2042. Ever since the playlists were merged, many players have lost the ability to consistently play the experience they actually enjoy. Some players prefer the large-scale chaos and epic battles of 128 players, while others prefer the more tactical and focused gameplay of 64 players. Both experiences have their own unique identity, and forcing them into a single playlist reduces player choice and overall enjoyment. Battlefield has always been about offering different ways to play, and giving players the freedom to choose between 64 and 128-player modes would greatly improve the experience. With Battlefield 6 on the horizon, please don't forget the dedicated Battlefield 2042 community that still actively plays and supports the game. Bringing back separate playlists for 64 and 128 players would be a highly appreciated quality-of-life change. Thank you, DICE, for continuing to support Battlefield 2042.
Connection issues
I would contact EA support but its for some resson impossible to get a human agent... Issue: Persistent Mid-Match and Lobby Disconnection Loop Error Code: 1:4688822970:-4685921B (Battlefield 2042 on PC) SUMMARY OF LOCAL TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED: Launcher Update & Cache Flush: Upgraded the legacy EA App to the modern platform framework (Blue Icon). Manually cleared the %localappdata%\Electronic Arts and %appdata%\EA Desktop cache folders to force a sterile launcher environment. Total Game Purge: Completely uninstalled Battlefield 2042 and manually deleted the physical installation folder to clear any corrupt legacy files. Completed a 100% fresh, clean download of the game assets. Manual Game Cache Deletion: Manually located and deleted the local game cache directories on the system storage to ensure no corrupted files remained before launching. I have also done the classic turn off and on. Does not work. Its not a networking issue because all my other programs funcion. Thanks for understanding
[BF2042][Steam] Visual Bug at end of match score screen
All of my characters use other than their various standard costumes. As Crawford i had died after succesfully destroying an enemy vehicle, so switched to wait as Blasco on the overview map straight afterwards. Match ended in meantime. During score screen or end of match credits, neither my Blasco was shown, nor Crawford with his white desert costume. Crawford weared one of his standard costumes as seen on this attached screenshot. I do recognize as this visual bug has appeared for quite a time yet.
Losing Double RP due to Directx error
Im losing Double RP because i get the Directx error soon as we drop from the plane and tou guys aren't going to give it back. Wasting too much time grinding because you wont fix your game. Ive lost close to 700 RP that you wont give back. What's the point of playing your game. You are fixing stuff that's not important like hit reg,disconnects etc... instead of fixing the core of the game.
Are they ever going to fix the Co-op Nation bug?
its been 6 years since 2042 released, and they still haven’t bug fixed not being able to play as Russians. and my friends who prefer PVE want to play as them and get attachments. I can still see them patching the game on steam very recently, but they still have bugfixed this issue? Makes me even wonder if there’s any Devs left on 2042 doing any bug fixes.

A new error!! So exciting. social tab won’t show pc friends names but will show modes playing. ea app won’t show anyone’s names period. Game chats don’t send but no error either. Just nothing received by chat grouping. Got $20 this lasts 7 days. Enough time for Infantry Conquest to further kill the game.
EA server timeouts
If this is here forgive me I’m new to forums. I’ve been lucky to have few issues in 2042. However the last two days I will be up to the last sector of a match then I get booted out. It says all players disconnected. And I cannot log back into the EA server. I’ve tried a lot of fixes, sister has the same problem then it will just randomly work some hours later. I’d put it down to a server outage but their site says no issues. Can anyone shed any light on this. Ty in advance. I play on Xbox x
No Conquest or Breakthrough, still.....!
I know this is an ongoing problem and I've tried all the fixes but still nothing, I'm a PC player and my rig is well above spec...... Is EA actually going to do something abut this BS or are they going the same as Activision and not giving a crap about who pays their wages. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to lose an saves but if you uninstall the game and reinstall it does that get rid of the problem?
