Error r 0xc0000005 after power outage
Hello This week the power went out and now half the time the game crashes at the start of a match I went into event viewer and found this error code relating to the anti cheat I tried the steps I found on this forum, I added an exception to the antivirus and even reinstalled the game The problem still presists I just want to complete the battle pass :(SolvedJuddV106 days agoSeasoned Scout101Views0likes16Comments
2042 loading issue
got game when it was on sale from steam, for the battlepass. played 22 hours and im a little over halfway finished. well then the game updated 9/9/25 and i cant even get the game to load now. server status for the game and the ea app say they are both good. i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and app, same issue. steam tries to load game, game window pops up, then ea app loads, then the game window closes and ea says "the game unexpectedly closed on our end, try back later." its the next day and still having issue. please advise. system info: 2 1080p screens win 11 amd ryzen7 9800x3d xfx rx7900xt g skill flare 32gb, 5600, 2 sticks msi b650 pro gaming plus wifi msi mag 850w pcie5Solved63Views0likes3Comments
Unable to connect at all to BF2042

Exposure map crash after latest game update
Hello, after the latest game update I cannot play anymore on Exposure map (no matter the game mode) because it's constantly crashing with the same error at loading screen. Even solo/coop and Portal don't work. Failed to launch game "Error on our end"
I tried playing 2042 but every time i boot the game its a black windowed application where briefly the title "battle field 2042" is shown in the top left corner of the application but very quickly loses the name and that has been the immediate tell tale that the game wont load after numerous attempts to boot. Looking at you tube videos and reddit i disabled EA overlay, NVidia overlay ( and enabled) and the game fails to boot saying error on our end. I attempted to repair the game installation, no improvement. I uninstalled the game and re installed the game, no changes. Running the game as administrator does not correct the concern. I attempted to file EA error reporter, not sure if i will hear back from that. Game wont start, tell me to log in then that I dont have internet.
Every time I try to start either BF2042 or BFV, this window pops up. If i put in my info, it tells me I dont have internet. Tried repairing the games, rebooting, reinstalling the EA app. The games worked fine on tuesday. BF2042 is on steam and BFV is on the EA app. Makes no difference where I launch from. BF2042 launches fine on another PC in the household, so not any network firewall blocking it. Windows Defender Threat Detection
Started getting Windows Defender Threat Detected today when launching BF2042. Launched the game three times to check it was only happening with 2042. Which is is. Any other game does not trigger the threat detection (was thinking it might have been Nvidia Overlay or something) IOt also triggers without Nvidia Overlay Active. Battlefield 2042 launch problem
I spent the last days trying to figure out a way to solve this problem and since I had to, I even formatted my computer but nothing changed. The game worked fine until a week ago. Hey I just got the following error message today (I mean it just closes on launch) But when checking the windows event viewer: ``` The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event. Nor are there any new graphics drivers. Steam says every time they have to repair 3 files when i check the files. Just want to play 2042 for the new bf6 unlocks. Any recommendations? Battlefield 2042 "Failed to launch game" and 7 solutions have failed to solve
Hi guys. When I launch Battlefield 2042, it will crash and tell me "EA app launched from another application", "Failed to launch game", "An error on our end caused the launch to fail" like the screenshot, no matter how many times I launch 2042 and EA. I am steam player and I have an Nvidia card. BF2042 DEMONSTRATING THAT PC CRASH TO RESTART AGAIN LIGHT bf6beta
After a two week repreive and after numerouse installs of Window, Adrenaline, EA APP and 2042. The crash to restart which is logged in Adrenaline as a failure is started all over again. Did EA sneak in server updates which started this BS again. Does happen if I dont start 2042. So those files were changed with the release of Beta. Ihave used all avaiable fixes and still crashes to resest not on every round sometimes two rounds, sometimes the next round, somtimes idle. Any have an idea what is causing these memory leaks, dumps ect I have a 128gb of ram....gotta be a serious and 12gb ov vid ram...NEVER HAPPENED until BETA. Everything was working fine then when I started a server with no password and people started joining, it doesn't let me do anything now. "Error this" and "error that" like DICE PLEASE. Can't even go to next map, kick or ban anyone either. Somehow it still remains persistent even though i never had to on or started with it to begin with.
