College Football 27 Customization MUST HAVES
Without these I will start boycotting CFB 27 because at this point customization needs to be better! Most people are NOT asking EA to let them: edit real NIL players, sell created players, or profit from athlete likenesses. They’re asking for: fictional/offline Create-A-Player, editable TeamBuilder rosters, generated recruit editing, offline sandbox freedom. That’s why the frustration feels justified to a lot of fans. The thing that especially upset people:EA initially allowed editing some TeamBuilder players, then later restricted it harder. So players saw functionality disappear rather than improve. That made the community feel like EA overcorrected. And my point about “the consumer isn’t making money” is actually an argument many fans and even some legal analysts make: A user privately creating fictional players in an offline save is very different from EA commercially exploiting NIL. The risk mostly comes if users recreate real athletes and distribute them publicly online at scale. That’s probably why many people think the safest compromise is: What fans want Full CAP in OFFLINE Dynasty only No sharing/download center for created NIL recreations Editable generated recruits Editable TeamBuilder fictional players Keep online modes more restricted That would probably satisfy like 80–90% of the complaints. And honestly, from a technical standpoint, EA could likely implement safeguards pretty easily: disable sharing for created players, block editing of real NIL athletes, only allow editing autogenerated players, require TeamBuilder players to be fictional templates. That’s why EA may currently be more cautious than necessary. The encouraging part is this: EA absolutely hears this feedback. The TeamBuilder/edit-player complaints are among the loudest Dynasty criticisms every single year alongside: sim logic, recruiting balance, presentation depth, formation subs, trophy room/history, protected rivals, and offline customization. So I’d honestly be surprised if CFB27 ships without SOME movement in this area. The biggest clue will probably be: whether they start separating “real NIL players” from “generated/custom players” at the system level. If they do that, then deeper offline customization becomes much easier legally and technically. And if PC support ever happens? That conversation changes completely because mod communities historically solve this stuff almost immediately.9Views1like0CommentsNo coach ability rewards
I can't get the 3k from players drafted or 1.5k from visiting player wins. I've stated another dynasty hoping this would've been patched by now but still nothing. Its very frustrating to get several years in a dynasty & can't really do much cause of bugs. Can I contact EA? I dont need the points refunded. I just want the glitch fixed.11Views0likes0CommentsEditing Players style
Hey guys I think I may have found a work around with editing players (styles) so apparently in dynasty you can only edit 10 players on a roster per season (Only) which means if you have players on the roster that you’ve already edited you can not edit anymore on the roster unless the already edited player is removed from roster. so the struggle for me was I was editing players ratings , equipment etc.. but when it came to editing there Styles it wouldn’t save whatsoever so what I discovered is that the game only allow you to edit up to 10 guys (styles) per season and they can’t already be on the roster. so for example: if I start up dynasty from scratch and play the first season then the following season and going forward it will only allow me to edit 10 players (styles) but I can still edit any player ratings , equipment etc… with no problem but the kicker is if you want to edit more styles of other players you can’t until the ones that’s on the roster is taken off via.. encouragement, portal etc..JRJRGOAT4 days agoSeasoned Novice69Views1like1CommentPlayer “Styles”/Animations won’t save for offline Dynasty
idk if it’s a combination of bad animations the game can’t load, or if i’ve hit a limit as to how many players i can edit for the current season. But i genuinely spent a good 30 minutes just trying to change a WR’s running style to traditional, only for it to basically refuse to auto-save. I exited dynasty and tried again, restarted the game, then eventually my console all with no luck in solving my problem. I’m just trying to figure out if it’s a bug, or if it’s an issue with my game, or save file? or if it’s simply a matter of i’m not allowed to change any more animations’ of playersgoddardlion774 days agoSeasoned Newcomer9Views0likes0Commentscfb26 is utter garbage
EA, I need an explanation for how laughably bad this game is. I could spend days upon on upon days but i"m not going to. I just want honest understanding on a few of the issues and how they can be explained. QB drops back in pocket. Now I'm to understand that the cpu pass rush is less effective if I stay in the pocket? However, the game consistently allows inferior rated dls to beat my offensive lines straight up and especially on 3rd or 4th down. If you drop too deep in the pocket, the cpu pass rushers, regardless of their meaningless speed ratings, simply run pass the blockers. If I hold turbo behind the line with qb, then the engaged dls simply disengage to immediately put pressure or run at the same speed as the qb, again regardless of the meaningless ratings, and disrupt the play. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? QB gets the pass off to wr who somehow more often than not has to jump for it or is immediately hit upon catching it. This silly animation concept forced into this version of the game often results in dropped passes by the offensive players. However, the 1st opportunity for CPU defensive players to touch the ball, it often results in interceptions. Again, often these plays are made by players with ratings that according to the gameplay EA has provided us on this yrs version shouldnt be making plays. An example is a 93 catch gold badge sure hands te dropping 3 consecutive short passes but 72 rated 46 catch no badge lb catching a no look pick on the 1st opportunity to touch the ball. Again. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE Can you explain why you even put fumbles into this game? When a users team fumbles the ball, it takes an act of God to recover. When the cpu fumbles, someone always stops whatever action they are currently in to the recover the ball. Simply take it out if you didn't want the users to recover any fumbles. It is a buzzkill as is the game. Please explain to us how the cpu controlled teams are always programmed to do what the users team can not do if you were trying to give us a realistic simulation? Example. No matter what route you run or the coverage the cpu is in, their defenders will slow down, speed up, dive, jump, or adjust to make balls on the ball. Meanwhile, the users players will not do anything other than what you do but more importantly nothing to help you. It makes literally no sense for players again according to your rating system to slow up or speed up to adjust to plays on defense that they have no way of knowing while the offensive players just give up or dont adjust to help the team. Again it makes no sense. If you guys programmed and played this game, there is no way that you expect us to enjoy it. and these are just a few gameplay issues. I could go all on the absurd nature of the dynasty as a whole. I can guarantee that i will not spend a dime for cfb 27 after the number of lies told regarding cfb 26.MrRednose5 days agoNew Novice59Views0likes1CommentThe Future of Immersion? "College GameDay" AI Podcast for My Dynasty
Hey everyone, I wanted to share a workflow I’ve been using to bring a whole new level of immersion to our EA Sports College Football 25 Dynasty. If you feel like the in-game news and halftime shows aren't quite hitting that "Saturday Morning" feeling, you need to try this. The Setup: My "AI Broadcast Studio" Instead of just clicking through menus, I’m creating full 30-minute podcasts, Heisman watch breakdowns, and PDF scouting reports for every season. Here is the play-by-play on how to do it: Data Capture: I take photos/screenshots of the season stats, Heisman race, coaching carousels, and playoff brackets directly from the TV. Extraction (The Brains): I upload those images into Claude. It extracts every name, OVR, and stat into a clean Markdown file. No more manual data entry. Immersion (The Voice): I take that Markdown file and drop it into NotebookLM. From there, it generates a full, deep-dive podcast where the "hosts" talk about our actual players, the upsets, and the recruiting drama. Why This Changes Everything Imagine hearing "hosts" debate if your 99 SPD receiver is actually the Heisman favorite, or discussing the drama of a senior QB transferring to rejoin his old coach (shoutout to the C. Henderson saga in our league!). The accuracy is spot on. It picks up on: Team Identities: It differentiates between a "stout" 99-rated Michigan defense and a high-speed Florida "track team." Narrative Arcs: It remembers UTEP’s 2031 Championship win and tracks the transition into the SEC. Player Profiles: It analyzes specific archetypes and pro prospects. The Dream for EA Can you imagine if EA integrated this tech directly into the game? Imagine a "College Football Morning Show" that updates every week based on your dynasty’s data, narrated by AI-generated voices of real commentators. Until they step up, this is the way to play. It only takes a few minutes to gather the data, but it makes every game feel like it’s being broadcast to the whole country. Has anyone else experimented with GenAI in their leagues? Would love to hear how you guys are upping the immersion!PI5TOLPETE110 days agoSeasoned Rookie337Views1like1CommentCollege Basketball 27 Cover Athlete idea
Georgia State University guard Jacob Meyer deserves to be on the cover of EA Sports College Basketball 27 because his career represents everything that makes college basketball exciting — hard work, confidence, big-game performances, and the ability to rise at every level. Meyer first broke out as one of the top freshman scorers in the country at Coastal Carolina, averaging 15.7 points and over 5 rebounds per game while scoring in double figures 28 times and dropping a career-high 32 points in the Sun Belt Tournament. After transferring, he continued to prove himself against tougher competition with multiple standout scoring performances and elite three-point shooting, helping his team break program shooting records. Now at Georgia State, Meyer brings experience, leadership, and an electric scoring ability that makes him one of the most exciting guards to watch heading into the new season. His journey through multiple programs shows resilience and adaptability, while his clutch moments and offensive firepower perfectly fit the fast-paced atmosphere EA Sports wants to capture. From breakout freshman star to proven college basketball playmaker, Jacob Meyer has earned the spotlight and would be the perfect athlete to represent the next generation of college basketball on the cover of EA Sports College Basketball 27. Also Believe Elliot Cadeau brings a different but equally important dynamic — elite playmaking, speed, court vision, and national recognition as one of the most talented young guards in college basketball. His flashy passing ability and fast-paced style make him the type of player fans want to use in a video game, while his leadership and basketball IQ make teammates around him better. Together, Meyer and Cadeau symbolize both the grit and the creativity of college basketball today. EA Sports should want cover athletes who not only produce on the court, but also bring energy, personality, and excitement to the sport, and both players perfectly embody that next generation of college basketball stars. EA, please make a College Football Dynasty Companion App for online dynasties. The main thing we need is the ability to advance weeks from our phone and handle recruiting without having to be on console. For online dynasties, especially with multiple users, it would make the mode way easier to manage. Features that would be huge: - Advance week from the app if you’re the commissioner - Do weekly recruiting from your phone - View prospects, boards, visits, dealbreakers, and scholarship offers - See user readiness status before advancing - Send league messages or reminders - View schedules, standings, rankings, stats, and team needs - Commissioner tools like force wins, user management, and league settings A lot of us play online dynasty with friends, and the hardest part is keeping the league moving when people are away from their console. A companion app would keep players engaged all week and make online dynasty way more active.27Views2likes0CommentsDynasty rankings completely broken
I am honestly at my limit with Dynasty rankings in CFP 26. I am the defending national champion, undefeated last season, and undefeated again this season. I have not lost a game at Notre Dame. Here is my resume THIS SEASON: Beat Clemson 31-0 away Beat Alabama 28-7 Beat Texas 38-7 away Beat USC 31-9 Beat Florida State 49-0 away That is five top-tier programs, multiple road blowouts, zero losses, and zero close games. Yet I am still ranked number 2. Meanwhile Georgia barely beat a two-win Georgia Tech team by one score and stayed ranked ahead of me. This is not about wanting things handed to me. It is about the ranking system ignoring: Strength of schedule Margin of victory Road wins Defending national champion status Sustained undefeated streaks It feels like independent teams are unfairly penalized regardless of who they beat. At this point there is literally nothing more I can do on the field to justify being ranked number 1, and that completely breaks immersion in Dynasty mode. If Dynasty mode does not track momentum, prior championships, or cumulative resume, that is a serious design flaw. Makes me not even wanna play this game because of its stupidity Has anyone else experienced this? Because right now the rankings feel cosmetic at best and incorrect at worsttperthes12345515 days agoRising Newcomer531Views1like4CommentsTier 4 Ability Home Sweet Home
Hey i had a question about one of the coach abilities in talent developer. The tier 4 ability “Home Sweet Home” gives a boost to pipeline bonus for whatever position. Does this mean that the players you recruit in your pipeline will get an extra influence because of your pipeline, or does in increase the pipeline tier for those players? Thank you51Views0likes1CommentAcquiring appropriate level coaches in dynasty
I am a head coach with level 100 all the ceo, program developer and elite recruiting perks and I still cant get coaches higher then level 20 and always a c or d grade. EA do better. In NCAA 27 allow us to shop coaches so we can better match coaches to our evel and style of play. Im forced to picm a low level coach that doesnt have my same offense or defense. This makes no sense tyhat we cant shop assistant coachesWarmHoney58752526 days agoSeasoned Novice60Views1like0CommentsTeam Desparity in OVR challenges
Please stop leveling up low talent teams. I have an 99 OVR team with numerous National Championships and I still have problems simulating against a 75 OVR team. The talent on my team far exceeds the inferior team but yet my team will struggle against a 75OVR team. in simulation. So I play the whole game and I end up blowing them out 150-7. There is no need for me to have to play them but EA makes the inferior team beat my superior team if I simulate. Its a waist of time to be forced to play these obvious inferior teams. EA do better in NCAA 27.WarmHoney58752526 days agoSeasoned Novice56Views0likes0CommentsBring back Dynamic Recruits
Ive played this game since the the very beginning and in the past recruits use to be dynamic and were able to go up and down the top 100 throughout the season (a 3 star could turn into a 5 star, a 5 star could turn into a 4 star). Can we please bring that back? It was such a nice thing and I'm sure I am not alone in saying I would love to see this return to the game. This is Day 1 of asking for this, hopefully a dev or someone who could make the suggestion can see this and relay it to someone who has any type of input.oSThrowback27 days agoSeasoned Scout35Views0likes0CommentsOne reason I lost interest: Stats
Statistics are not realistic and it becomes a bit cartoonish. 20 cpu QBs throwing 300 360 passing yards per game. When in reality there’s 2 or 3 barely over 300. no real confirmation on what settings impact the stats for cpu vs cpu. It appears none make a difference. a game that can’t come close to producing realistic statistics is a broken game. It’s the most basic point of gaming. here I am posting in a “community” where no one that can make changes participates and answers are guesses.kentuckysapper27 days agoRising Traveler94Views0likes1CommentAdd “Flex TE (FTE)” Depth Chart Position for Modern Offenses
Add “Flex TE (FTE)” Depth Chart Position for Modern Offenses Problem (What’s broken): The current TE depth chart forces one player group to handle two different jobs: - Inline TE (Y): attached to the line, blocks like an OL, plays in heavy personnel - Move/Flex TE (F): detached, plays in space (slot/wing), runs routes in spread/gun This creates: - Inconsistent personnel across formations - Poor role resolution (blocking TE in space, receiving TE forced inline) - Extra setup time and more in-game errors Core Idea: Create a separate Flex TE (FTE) position on the depth chart—similar to SLWR. How It Works: TE Depth Chart (Inline Y Role) - TE1 — primary inline TE - TE2 — secondary inline TE - TE3 — depth Flex TE Depth Chart (F / Move TE Role) - FTE1 — primary receiving/space TE - FTE2 — backup flex TE - FTE3 — depth Formation Logic (Auto Assignment): - Under Center / Heavy Sets (I-Form, Ace, 12/22 personnel): use TE depth chart - Gun / Spread / Empty / Detached Alignments: use FTE depth chart - Wing / H-back / motion-heavy looks: prioritize FTE Dual TE Usage (Inline + Flex in Same Formation): Some formations require both roles at once (one TE attached, one detached). This system supports both simultaneously. Assignment Rules: - Inline TE positions → pull from TE depth chart - Detached/slot/wing TE positions → pull from FTE depth chart Examples: - Gun Doubles w/ TE + Slot TE: - Inline TE → TE1 - Slot TE → FTE1 - 12 Personnel (1 RB, 2 TE): - TE on LOS → TE1 - TE off-ball/wing/slot → FTE1 - Ace Slot / Split Wing: - Attached TE → TE1 - Motion/Wing TE → FTE1 Fallback Rules (for stability): - No FTE available → use TE with best receiving traits - No TE available → use FTE inline (with blocking penalty) Unicorn / Every-down TE (Dual-Role Player): This system should support rare players who can excel both inline and in space—an “every-down TE.” Concept: - Equivalent to an every-down RB who never leaves the field - Can block like a Y and win in space like an F System Rule (Dual-Role Eligibility): - A player can be assigned to both TE and FTE depth charts - If ranked #1 in both → he stays on the field across all formations - Alignment changes based on formation (not substitution): - Heavy sets → lines up inline (TE role) - Spread sets → lines up detached (FTE role) Substitution Conditions: - Fatigue - Injury - Explicit package rotation (TE2/FTE2) Why This Matters: This mirrors systems already in the game: - WR vs SLWR - HB vs 3DRB / PWHB TE is the only skill position still forced into one role, while modern football separates: - Y (inline) - F (flex/move) This system also properly values rare “unicorn” players instead of forcing them into one role. Gameplay Benefits: - Cleaner role resolution (players stay in correct roles) - More realistic substitutions across formations - Less reliance on manual formation subs - Better CPU roster logic - Rewards elite, versatile players - Creates meaningful roster decisions (specialists vs everydown TE) Recruiting & Development Impact: Encourages clear TE archetypes: - Y TE: strength, run block, pass block - F TE: speed, agility, route running, catching - Everydown TE: rare blend of both (premium asset) Bottom Line: Modern football treats TE as two positions: attached (Y) and detached (F). Adding Flex TE (FTE)—with support for dual-role “everydown” players—aligns the depth chart with real usage, improves gameplay realism, and reduces unnecessary micromanagement.44Views0likes0CommentsWould love this for cfb 27
I would love to have the ability to create prospects from scratch in dynasty mode. I don't know why this isn't a feature already. Also is it too much to ask to be able to import draft classes to Madden?? I understand there are licensing limitations, but make it happen already! Would be the best way to guarantee you got my money on both titles every single year.jman515811 month agoSeasoned Newcomer39Views0likes0CommentsThis game is garbage
Not buying this years version, the AI in this game is absolute trash. I can come up with a hundred examples but here’s just a few recents…. Playing a fcs team rated 30 ovr below me and I can’t pass rush, pass cover, qb scrambles for 80 td, can’t run the ball, receivers are all blanketed. Why all the sudden this team I’m playing rated 99??? Next game cpu completes a game winning td on 4th and 22 from the 25 with 3 89+rated db’s around the receiver. Third game the game decides to take a player and run right through the punter for no **bleep** reason and give a down away. If I wanted an arcade game I’d get a n64 and play blitz. Get your **bleep** together EA. You call this simulation football?!t27money1 month agoSeasoned Newcomer128Views2likes1Comment
