College Basketball 27 Cover Athlete idea
Georgia State University guard Jacob Meyer deserves to be on the cover of EA Sports College Basketball 27 because his career represents everything that makes college basketball exciting — hard work, confidence, big-game performances, and the ability to rise at every level. Meyer first broke out as one of the top freshman scorers in the country at Coastal Carolina, averaging 15.7 points and over 5 rebounds per game while scoring in double figures 28 times and dropping a career-high 32 points in the Sun Belt Tournament. After transferring, he continued to prove himself against tougher competition with multiple standout scoring performances and elite three-point shooting, helping his team break program shooting records. Now at Georgia State, Meyer brings experience, leadership, and an electric scoring ability that makes him one of the most exciting guards to watch heading into the new season. His journey through multiple programs shows resilience and adaptability, while his clutch moments and offensive firepower perfectly fit the fast-paced atmosphere EA Sports wants to capture. From breakout freshman star to proven college basketball playmaker, Jacob Meyer has earned the spotlight and would be the perfect athlete to represent the next generation of college basketball on the cover of EA Sports College Basketball 27. Also Believe Elliot Cadeau brings a different but equally important dynamic — elite playmaking, speed, court vision, and national recognition as one of the most talented young guards in college basketball. His flashy passing ability and fast-paced style make him the type of player fans want to use in a video game, while his leadership and basketball IQ make teammates around him better. Together, Meyer and Cadeau symbolize both the grit and the creativity of college basketball today. EA Sports should want cover athletes who not only produce on the court, but also bring energy, personality, and excitement to the sport, and both players perfectly embody that next generation of college basketball stars. EA, I need an explanation for how laughably bad this game is. I could spend days upon on upon days but i"m not going to. I just want honest understanding on a few of the issues and how they can be explained. QB drops back in pocket. Now I'm to understand that the cpu pass rush is less effective if I stay in the pocket? However, the game consistently allows inferior rated dls to beat my offensive lines straight up and especially on 3rd or 4th down. If you drop too deep in the pocket, the cpu pass rushers, regardless of their meaningless speed ratings, simply run pass the blockers. If I hold turbo behind the line with qb, then the engaged dls simply disengage to immediately put pressure or run at the same speed as the qb, again regardless of the meaningless ratings, and disrupt the play. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? QB gets the pass off to wr who somehow more often than not has to jump for it or is immediately hit upon catching it. This silly animation concept forced into this version of the game often results in dropped passes by the offensive players. However, the 1st opportunity for CPU defensive players to touch the ball, it often results in interceptions. Again, often these plays are made by players with ratings that according to the gameplay EA has provided us on this yrs version shouldnt be making plays. An example is a 93 catch gold badge sure hands te dropping 3 consecutive short passes but 72 rated 46 catch no badge lb catching a no look pick on the 1st opportunity to touch the ball. Again. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE Can you explain why you even put fumbles into this game? When a users team fumbles the ball, it takes an act of God to recover. When the cpu fumbles, someone always stops whatever action they are currently in to the recover the ball. Simply take it out if you didn't want the users to recover any fumbles. It is a buzzkill as is the game. Please explain to us how the cpu controlled teams are always programmed to do what the users team can not do if you were trying to give us a realistic simulation? Example. No matter what route you run or the coverage the cpu is in, their defenders will slow down, speed up, dive, jump, or adjust to make balls on the ball. Meanwhile, the users players will not do anything other than what you do but more importantly nothing to help you. It makes literally no sense for players again according to your rating system to slow up or speed up to adjust to plays on defense that they have no way of knowing while the offensive players just give up or dont adjust to help the team. Again it makes no sense. If you guys programmed and played this game, there is no way that you expect us to enjoy it. and these are just a few gameplay issues. I could go all on the absurd nature of the dynasty as a whole. I can guarantee that i will not spend a dime for cfb 27 after the number of lies told regarding cfb 26.MrRednose5 days agoNew Novice36Views0likes0CommentsCommissioners managing online dynasty’s
EA, please make a College Football Dynasty Companion App for online dynasties. The main thing we need is the ability to advance weeks from our phone and handle recruiting without having to be on console. For online dynasties, especially with multiple users, it would make the mode way easier to manage. Features that would be huge: - Advance week from the app if you’re the commissioner - Do weekly recruiting from your phone - View prospects, boards, visits, dealbreakers, and scholarship offers - See user readiness status before advancing - Send league messages or reminders - View schedules, standings, rankings, stats, and team needs - Commissioner tools like force wins, user management, and league settings A lot of us play online dynasty with friends, and the hardest part is keeping the league moving when people are away from their console. A companion app would keep players engaged all week and make online dynasty way more active.25Views2likes0CommentsAcquiring appropriate level coaches in dynasty
I am a head coach with level 100 all the ceo, program developer and elite recruiting perks and I still cant get coaches higher then level 20 and always a c or d grade. EA do better. In NCAA 27 allow us to shop coaches so we can better match coaches to our evel and style of play. Im forced to picm a low level coach that doesnt have my same offense or defense. This makes no sense tyhat we cant shop assistant coachesWarmHoney58752518 days agoSeasoned Novice56Views1like0CommentsTeam Desparity in OVR challenges
Please stop leveling up low talent teams. I have an 99 OVR team with numerous National Championships and I still have problems simulating against a 75 OVR team. The talent on my team far exceeds the inferior team but yet my team will struggle against a 75OVR team. in simulation. So I play the whole game and I end up blowing them out 150-7. There is no need for me to have to play them but EA makes the inferior team beat my superior team if I simulate. Its a waist of time to be forced to play these obvious inferior teams. EA do better in NCAA 27.WarmHoney58752518 days agoSeasoned Novice51Views0likes0CommentsBring back Dynamic Recruits
Ive played this game since the the very beginning and in the past recruits use to be dynamic and were able to go up and down the top 100 throughout the season (a 3 star could turn into a 5 star, a 5 star could turn into a 4 star). Can we please bring that back? It was such a nice thing and I'm sure I am not alone in saying I would love to see this return to the game. This is Day 1 of asking for this, hopefully a dev or someone who could make the suggestion can see this and relay it to someone who has any type of input.oSThrowback19 days agoSeasoned Scout34Views0likes0CommentsAdd “Flex TE (FTE)” Depth Chart Position for Modern Offenses
Add “Flex TE (FTE)” Depth Chart Position for Modern Offenses Problem (What’s broken): The current TE depth chart forces one player group to handle two different jobs: - Inline TE (Y): attached to the line, blocks like an OL, plays in heavy personnel - Move/Flex TE (F): detached, plays in space (slot/wing), runs routes in spread/gun This creates: - Inconsistent personnel across formations - Poor role resolution (blocking TE in space, receiving TE forced inline) - Extra setup time and more in-game errors Core Idea: Create a separate Flex TE (FTE) position on the depth chart—similar to SLWR. How It Works: TE Depth Chart (Inline Y Role) - TE1 — primary inline TE - TE2 — secondary inline TE - TE3 — depth Flex TE Depth Chart (F / Move TE Role) - FTE1 — primary receiving/space TE - FTE2 — backup flex TE - FTE3 — depth Formation Logic (Auto Assignment): - Under Center / Heavy Sets (I-Form, Ace, 12/22 personnel): use TE depth chart - Gun / Spread / Empty / Detached Alignments: use FTE depth chart - Wing / H-back / motion-heavy looks: prioritize FTE Dual TE Usage (Inline + Flex in Same Formation): Some formations require both roles at once (one TE attached, one detached). This system supports both simultaneously. Assignment Rules: - Inline TE positions → pull from TE depth chart - Detached/slot/wing TE positions → pull from FTE depth chart Examples: - Gun Doubles w/ TE + Slot TE: - Inline TE → TE1 - Slot TE → FTE1 - 12 Personnel (1 RB, 2 TE): - TE on LOS → TE1 - TE off-ball/wing/slot → FTE1 - Ace Slot / Split Wing: - Attached TE → TE1 - Motion/Wing TE → FTE1 Fallback Rules (for stability): - No FTE available → use TE with best receiving traits - No TE available → use FTE inline (with blocking penalty) Unicorn / Every-down TE (Dual-Role Player): This system should support rare players who can excel both inline and in space—an “every-down TE.” Concept: - Equivalent to an every-down RB who never leaves the field - Can block like a Y and win in space like an F System Rule (Dual-Role Eligibility): - A player can be assigned to both TE and FTE depth charts - If ranked #1 in both → he stays on the field across all formations - Alignment changes based on formation (not substitution): - Heavy sets → lines up inline (TE role) - Spread sets → lines up detached (FTE role) Substitution Conditions: - Fatigue - Injury - Explicit package rotation (TE2/FTE2) Why This Matters: This mirrors systems already in the game: - WR vs SLWR - HB vs 3DRB / PWHB TE is the only skill position still forced into one role, while modern football separates: - Y (inline) - F (flex/move) This system also properly values rare “unicorn” players instead of forcing them into one role. Gameplay Benefits: - Cleaner role resolution (players stay in correct roles) - More realistic substitutions across formations - Less reliance on manual formation subs - Better CPU roster logic - Rewards elite, versatile players - Creates meaningful roster decisions (specialists vs everydown TE) Recruiting & Development Impact: Encourages clear TE archetypes: - Y TE: strength, run block, pass block - F TE: speed, agility, route running, catching - Everydown TE: rare blend of both (premium asset) Bottom Line: Modern football treats TE as two positions: attached (Y) and detached (F). Adding Flex TE (FTE)—with support for dual-role “everydown” players—aligns the depth chart with real usage, improves gameplay realism, and reduces unnecessary micromanagement.37Views0likes0CommentsWould love this for cfb 27
I would love to have the ability to create prospects from scratch in dynasty mode. I don't know why this isn't a feature already. Also is it too much to ask to be able to import draft classes to Madden?? I understand there are licensing limitations, but make it happen already! Would be the best way to guarantee you got my money on both titles every single year.jman5158129 days agoSeasoned Newcomer35Views0likes0CommentsAdding players to Madden draft classes
I feel that if you coach someone and they are auto generated and let’s say they’re a 99 ovr elite dev trait and they leave for the NFL, you should have the option to export that player to a madden draft class. That way you can follow that players career or even multiple. Like if you have a Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase kind of situation where they play together in college and the NFL. It can be a new level of immersion for the playerbase to get more in touch with both games. I understand there would be conflict in doing this with the current rosters with the licensing but if it’s only auto generated guys, I don’t see an issue.H2oskids1 month agoRising Newcomer50Views0likes0CommentsNew Idea for online Dynasty
It would be really cool to be able to hire your friends and play with them at the same school. Someone as a HC, someone as a OC, and a DC. You can help each other with recruiting and update your skill tree to compliment each other and build a program up together. This along with upgrading the stadium and atmosphere at a small school would be awesome. If you choose to play a game, it can be run the same way the 3v3 is except against a CPU team. And if you have enough players a full 3v3 online game would be insane.H2oskids1 month agoRising Newcomer27Views0likes0CommentsCFB26 Dynasty Suggestion
I know this game is all about realistic features and stuff you know, but I hate that for one there’s not a create players for roster, because I want more long hair players generated for my future no nil players, that’s just one suggestion, and I’m really into slow super sim, to watch the cpu play for me with my own playbooks, I need a camera change while spectating even in madden I need one. And let’s be honest ain’t no transfers happening, give us the ability to swap players to teams at end of year, like a force transfer to (blank), you know and don’t wait till next game please , I hope yall get this. Thank Youjbgotpicksi1 month agoRising Newcomer34Views0likes0CommentsFootball 27 editing CPU offense request
EA, PLEASE allow us to edit opposing CPU teams offensive schemes and run/pass ratios like in the old days in the Dynasty Mode. Being able to adjust the CPU offensive style of play/schemes/formations and make them run heavy for good old smash mouth football was fun to play. Before playing CF 25, I would play 2006 and play against run heavy offenses. Most the games we play now are against CPU offenses that are mostly pass heavy. Having the ability to modify your opponent in Dynasty Mode would be a game changer. EA, please consider this for 27.cwkizer98121 month agoNew Rookie28Views0likes0CommentsCoaching Staff’s following their head coach to a New program.
I would like to see a feature in upcoming NCAA football games with regards to coaching Staff’s following their head coach to a New football team. Currently when you hire on to a new team during the coaching carousel, you have to hire new coordinators and your previous coordinators are not available for hire. In real life, a lot of coordinators follow their head coaches to a new program and I think that would be an awesome feature to have in the game to provide more realism. It’s probably way too late to incorporate this feature in NCAA 27, but I think it’s reasonable to have this feature added in the next iteration of the game.49f8ad10e57ca6a31 month agoRising Newcomer34Views0likes0CommentsFun Addition
It would be so cool to have your former Heisman, All Americans, All Conference players have shot screen appearances on the sideline during a deep playoff run. Player Dev Trait Progression - I would like to see a "Progression Goal" of how a player can achieve Dev Upgrade. Right now in 26, it's hard to figure out if you play and earn enough stats for a player. Do I have enough Solo Tackles for a "Impact" LB to get "Star"? Can I pull a minimum-to-use a low volume for a RB? Is 5 Ints enough for my CB or Safety to earn a Dev Trait Upgrade? - Because I feel like trying to hard to get a "Positional Award/Hesiman" for Player isn't enough or fully earn your player an upgrade. Heck, would making All-American or All-Conference Team be enough? It be nice to have a list of goals for your player to get the dev upgrade. More In-State (with better talent to find) Players based on school location and Previous Record and Accomplishments. - Sometimes, I like to play that Low-Medium NIL Schools like a Wyoming or Missouri for Gameplay Challenge-wise. But it sucks that if I want the best players 4-5 Star Rating Players, I'm force to target HS Prospects in Powerhouse Southern States: Alabama, Georgia Louisiana, Florida or it's second best, the Western States or Midwest: California, Washington, Arizona, Oregon, Ohio, Michigan. - However, if I don't have the Correct Pipeline or ability to upgrade my own, I have no chance because other schools have the better. - I would like it where if you achieve a winning record with a Bowl/Playoff/National Championship appearance, the following season, you will see a bigger pool of quality In-State players that want to join your school. It's how local players would like to stay In-State more and compete with their State University. Ability to earn and equip Mental Abilities - Every HS Recruit is built and thinks differently in real life, and that's true and understandable. However, every coach wants their player to be at the top of their game in-game and off and field. Honestly right now from 25 and in 26, I estimate about 70% of the players we try to recruit in-game will always come out with zero mental abilities or low-tier mentals. And then the 1-5% has the gold-plat mentals, but they're low rated, normal-impact dev trait players. - Like Road to Glory, if we achieve a milestone, we get to earn a mental ability for a player or equip or upgrade a players' mental ability.Butterstheman1 month agoNew Novice66Views0likes0CommentsSo someone tell me?

Team Builder in EA Sports College Football 25 needs an update. Custom teams with created rosters should be able to upload into online dynasties without conflicts. For the love of EA sports you still cannot change or save your players position stances listed under styles for example, the way they lineup I running him back is still doing this stupid lien or it looks like he’s on the corner of the street strung out on something. It’s nothing to do with football. I don’t even know why that stance is in the game. It’s called listed as “wide” for running backs. I’m not sure why you guys could never just fix this simple glitch in the game not letting us save any other styles, including running motions and throwing emotions. Why even have it in the game? Can you just fix this and we’ll forget about all the other broken stuff like the blocking mechanics, the weather, the coaching carousel. The rest of the game is fine. I guess can you please change this though it’s completely broken unable to save any changes made.50Views2likes0Comments
