I dont know where else to go for this, because EA is just absolutely HORRENDOUS at **bleep**ing everything appearantly. I made a new account because my other account got hacked a while back, and I gave up trying to use it, went to login the other day and it finally let me change the password and get back into it. Just to find out my account was banned. Reached out to the EA Help page over a week ago and never heard back. The ban doesnt have any listed reason as to why its banned. I would like my account back, or at the least, a refund on the games I had bought on there so I can buy them on this new account.5Views0likes0CommentsEA app = neglected app.
I don't normally post on forum but after visiting the website and seeing all the complaints, I have to say something. First of all, trying to log into the app is a nightmare, it took almost an hour to do it and multiple attempts to reset the password before I could log in. Next is the time when I tried to reinstall a game. Last year, I installed the same game into an external drive, after trying to install again today (but this time to my local drive), it's stuck. I changed all my settings to install it to the local drive, did a cold boot multiple times, but for some reason the installation says to check the installation path, no way to change it whatsoever, I had to find my old external drive to install it again. I purchased the Sims 3 using CDKeys and redeemed it in the EA app, which worked and valid, but isn't showing up in the EA app library to download. It says in EA Help that I own the game, so the code isn't the issue, its the EA app itself. It's saying on the EA app to purchase the Sims 3 for '£29.99', but on EAHelp on my games that I own the game. I've cleared cache, reinstalled EA app, but nothing has worked to fix the issue. Hello ea support , My problem is renewing the EA Play Pro subscription on a stolen account since October, and this is not my problem. I didn’t care because I wasn’t playing the game (ea fc 25) . My problem is with the money that was withdrawn from the credit card to renew the subscription. So I am demanding compensation, and I can provide you with any information required, whether in a bank message or anything else. Hi, I accidentally purchased the City Living expansion pack for The Sims 4. When I try to request a refund through the official link, it says: “You have no games that qualify for a refund”, even though it hasn’t been 24 hours since the purchase. Hi guys, I hope somebody can help as I have just spent an hour on the live chat with somebody who wasn’t acknowledging what I was saying & kept telling me to come here. I have just redeemed 4 keys for The Sims 3 expansions on EA Play. They all said ‘redeemed successfully’ and 2 of them installed fine. 2 of them however (into the future & island paradise), took me to the product pages and are showing as ‘purchase for £XX.XX’ and there is no trace of them in my purchase history. I waited the recommended half hour before seeking help & still no success. The agent in the live chat confirmed that they were redeemed using my account but was refusing to acknowledge that I don’t have access to them and we spent the last hour going around in circles. I even asked to raise a complaint several times to be told effectively ‘I am going to help you but I can’t promise that you’ll receive any contact, please check social media channels’. I’m praying somebody here can put me in the right direction to access the products that I purchased. Hi everyone! I have been dealing with this for over a month now :( Sims 4 first wouldn't load in the EA app so I cleared cache and uninstalled the app, but now it won't install. It says its 'installing' but nothing is happening and I don't know what to do. This screen never changes. I have attached a screenshot of what the download manager in my app has looked like for the past month whenever i try to redownload the sims 4 :( I hope someone can help!! I would be very grateful! (note - I have deleted and reinstalled EA, tried steam, origin and epic games launcher, none of which have worked. The reason why I write this hear on '' EA app General Discussion'' is because some users are spreading misinformation about '' EA Javelin Anticheat'' app. Admin Steam Profile : -snip- User creates a Topic on Battlefield 2042 Steam discussions with title: Steam needs to take actions https://steamcommunity.com/app/1517290/discussions/0/592900564311904549/ Saying : questionable updates, dangerous tweaks to vital computer components. Most likely (well definitely) he is referring to EA Javelin Anticheat requiring Secure Boot, since thats what most people reply with. (Its very obvious such statements as ‘’ dangerous tweaks to vital computer components’’ are TOTAL MISINFORMATION which is most likely hurting the sales and scares away new players. Theres 7k players playing the game daily , EA anticheat is tested well and it would be breaking news if it was actually damaging. ) Author of Topic and 2 users who support Authors misinfo dont even own the game Battlefield 2042. One user ‘’Messi No.1’’ points that out call them ‘’ clowns’’ . Steam Discussions Admin -snip- replies: ‘’ You do not NEED to own the game on steam in order to create or take part in discussions, If you're going to keep being rude and disrespectful towards others, I am more than happy to put you in time out. Your call.’’’ So the logic here is that we can write whatever we want about the game, including pretty heavy statements about EA app requirements such as ‘’dangerous tweaks to vital computer components’’ , however we cant call each other clowns, we get - a warning. Few years ago I posted about this admin and nothing was done. Well guy is active again. Whats interesting hes very active on ‘’ Ready or Not’’ forums, he basically lives there. Hi EA community, I recently updated the EA App on my Windows 11 PC, and now it won’t fully launch. After opening, it just stays on the loading screen with the EA logo spinning indefinitely. I’ve already tried the following steps: Cleared the app cache Reinstalled the EA App Run as administrator Checked Windows firewall and antivirus settings None of these worked so far. The same issue happens even after restarting my system. Is anyone there? I have added an EA Game to Steam as a Non-Steam-Game to play it with the Steam Overlay but I noticed that some games freeze on start when both the EA and Steam Overlay are active. Example for one game: STAR WARS Galaxy of Heroes. I can manually disable the EA Overlay through the app but this option is a global setting and not an individual game setting like it was in Origin. Is it possible that I can disable the EA Overlay through a certain config file or a certain entry in the Windows Registry(if available)? In that case I would run a batch script that disables the EA Overlay through that file or registry entry when I run an EA Game from Steam as a Non-Steam Game to avoid issues with the EA Overlay and reactivate it once the Non-Steam-Game is closed. I finally got my boyfriend into Sims so I wanted to buy him a few packs. We both play on Mac so I used the EA app and EA website searching for some way to gift him packs. I own every pack and I don't have any options for gifting. Someone please make this make sense. I included a picture of what I see from my end. I bought ME:LE on Steam. I want to play it but I heard the EA app was buggy, ate money, and had privacy concerns. I thought to myself: "That sounds right about in line with EA." So I used the Origin workaround for a while until you guys dropped Origin. Now I can't play Mass Effect without being taxed somehow. Even though I already bought the game. I just won't then. You took away Mass Effect just like you took away the studio that made it. I miss EA from the 90's. I wish you guys cared about people and not just money. Make sure your payment method isn't expired and your info is entered correctly.". I've tried do the same on the site and it worked. But I didn't receive money back for failed transaction.
