Handshake line / team photo suggestion
I only play franchise mode so this suggestion is for that mode... Let us show the full handshake line in playoffs, it's a 5 second scene now. Also for the team photo, save it for every cup win so you can go back to look at that in a menu somewhere with the player names signed on the picture. Also, please fix the audio glitch. Arena music cuts off for that annoying crowd clap/chant on xbox. (It never cuts off on full pressure music, only the regular songs.) I also want to thank the devs for all the visual options you added this year so we can turn off things for extra realism.Haven't received my elite rank rewards
Although I got my track pants, I haven't received my elite ranking jersey, or any other elite rewards. I finished 3v3 EASHL with a ranking of elite 3. This is my first time being elite, so I don't have any elite ranking rewards. I am aware that season 4 just started, but last season I got my diamond ranking jersey in no time and without a problem. Thanks for reading this, and hopefully we can fix this.
What is EA doing?
It seems the company is purposely self sabotaging their development over the years. It's pretty obvious at this point. The job postings are for lead devs of the game engine and "1 year contracts". EA Sports does not care about this franchise to have any form of gainful employment. There is no hiring requirement for even being knowledgeable about hockey at all. You join the club, then you're out the door the game is made. Then new devs come in and we are wonder why nothing gets fixed? The game other than HUT and WoC haven't been touched in 4 years now? There are a ENDLESS list of problems but the response is "maybe it will be fixed next year." That's not going to fly. I am done with EA Sports. You guys had better make sure this doesn't get deleted. This is constructive criticism that is being brought to the attention on deaf ears. This is very disappointing. The community wants change. There are a total of 69 sticks in the game for players to customize. Would it be possible to add the latest Bauer Hyperlite 2 model in black? Also, is it possible to select or add color variants to the sticks? Bauer for example (blue, green, red, black) the same for CCM. Many players have sticks colored according to the club's colors. Another thing, why are the latest jerseys not updated only in the Czech Extraliga in March, almost at the end of the season? Other leagues have been updated a long time ago, but in the Extraliga, last year's jerseys are still there.
Managers
Since EA this year has presented face packs to some coaches. The only problem being is. The coach pool is made up of non nhl coaches. In 26. Why not change the coach concept to managers. Leave the coachs and their face packs intact. But use actual NHL managers and their face packs. The same synergies can be applied to the managers. The way it is now. No realism. You acquire a coach (non nhl) for the synergy. Be inclusive. Add managers to the game as well. Be much more interesting having various managers switch from team to team. Also the coach item would be replaced with manager.Add better mechanics for switching players
I'm getting so tired of trying to switch to a defencemen that is the closest player to the puck and for some reason I can't switch to them. So many times I've been scored on because I can't switch to the one person that is closest to the puck to try and poke the puck or block a shot, instead I switch to someone chasing the puck and a few times someone thats just not anywhere close to the puck at all. This system needs to be reworked, possibly something similar to icon passing but for switching players that way we can switch to the player we actually are wanting to switch to without the game deciding.
Bad points counting in franchise mode
I'm playing an expansion draft in franchise mode and the game very often miscounts Canadian player points. Example: during a game I score a hat trick and two assists with Hischier, but the scoreboard in the menu only adds one point. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (I think it forgets to record the 2nd assist most of the time). Could you tell us if you plan to fix this or are you just ignoring it? I'm just wondering if I should still hope that you'll fix it someday or if I can give up and focus on other things.
Hybrid Hip Check
Would it be possible to add a one button hip check for those of us using the hybrid controller set-up in eashl? I’m able to use R3+L1 to hip check but figured since there’s an unused button (the switch player button that isn’t used in eashl) maybe that could become the hip check button. 🏒
