Pinning the Puck And Protect the Puck
Both Protect the Puck and Pinning the Puck to the Boards Both Need a nerf especially for those using low Strength and Balance. Pinning the puck to the Boards should not give the person immunity from being hit. So Many players see a hit coming along the boards ane Pin themselves to the Boards to avoid contact. Ive Had times where a player will do this and the game doesn't allow me to hit them it almost creates a bubble for them it doesnt happen all the time but it does happen. If A players balance and Strength is low this should not be the case. As For Puck protect A player using his free hand to Drive the net shouldnt skate through hits. Ive seen to many times where a player is using Moonlight Powerforward he goes into puck protect and just sheds hits like its nothing. Even though my hitting is As High if not higher than his balance and strength. Another reason Prebuilds shouldnt exist. A moonlight Power forward has not only Good Balance Strength and Agility it also has Elite Edges. Giving the player a clear advantage on Puck protect skills as if you go to hit him he is able to turn faster and even if you do hit him hes got incredible balance and strength to keep the puck. Again If I can't Make A Custom Player To the same specs as a Prebuild the Prebuild shouldnt be in the game. Multiple Prebuilds are OP not all but most. I think we Can All agree The Most Important Stats for NHL have been. Speed Acceleration Agility Endurance Balance and Strength Hitting Maybe Dekeing. Moon Light Power forward has. 92 speed 90 Balance 96 Agility plus elite edges cant be used by a custom build. 95 acceleration 90 puck control 88 endurance. 90 hitting and 99 strength 92 slap shot power and 88 wrist shot power The best I can do.. Same Height and Weight is 89 speed 87 Balance 89 agility 89 acceleration 90 acceleration 89 hitting 89 strength And then i could get strength and hitting up to 93 with plus 4 or 89 balance with+2 With a weaker shot a little more accuracy and can get a couple other categories like dekeing and passing Higher. The Prebuild is the better choice IMO over the Custom build. Just because the Custom Build is slower less balance strength agility and acceleration with good endurance. And a hard shot. This is just an example. Prebuilds have no place in this game. Or at the very least keep it to arcade modes get them out of Ranked matches thanks.
Hybrid Controls NHL26
Anyone here still using hybrid controls after all these years? I just never could get the hang of skill stick and did not find it nearly as fun. I guess I’m still an NHL 95’r on the inside. is there a way to create a league in VS. where we can invite each other to games and try to follow a schedule? whenever I play somebody that uses skill stick and they have experience, I’m usually going to lose by eight every time.Hitting.
Wind Up Hitting needs to be Removed. Absolute garbage. Put hitting back to what it was on NHL 23 and years before that. Wind up hitting is completely unrealistic. It is said that Hip check and Reverse hitting is getting nerfed so hopefully we can get hitting back to what it was. The one thing i cant stand is they couldve patched Both Hip check and Reverse hit to make 25 a better game but didnt do so. Really ruined the game In my opinion.Server Browser/Lobbies
Here's an image from Battlefield 6, which will have hundreds of thousands of players at launch, implementing a server browser into the game. NHL26, which will have tens of players at launch, is still stuck with a matchmaker as the only means to connect to a game. If any game needs a server browser, it's a niche franchise like NHL with it's small player base, especially when trying to get into 6v6 games. The last time this franchise had server browser style lobbies was NHL 15 on PS3/360. Before the servers shutdown in 2022, I was able to launch into full 6v6 games with less than 100 people online. I know this will go in 1 EA ear and out the other, but once a year I will continue to throw this old feature we used to have against the wall. Remove all Prebuilds and Skins in Competitive Modes in NHL 26. EASHL and Ones Should only be custom Builds If you want prebuilds and the awful skins keep them in Arcade mode and unranked games.. Again EA adding stuff no one asked for. Cosmetics are probably the easiest things to add so dont fix the game just add more 💩 to it and claim it as new.

I think it is wrong that shea weeber has been released a better card than hat trick hard work to get it 99 has had to collect hat trick chain cards all year to collectState of NHL 25 going to 26.
NHL 25 WoC is nothing but an absolute exsploit, glitch fest. Was playing last night after a break from the game. Ofcourse the whole night match up with absolute trash bags. This happens to me like umpteen times. Ofcourse I can do bumpkiss about it. You need to patch this right now out of 26! It's garbage... this is why we hate x factors and everything about nhl 25, 24 ect. I hope that every low life scum does it too just to make the state of the game worse. Why is it that goalies we play against will make diving saves across the crease to save a close quarters back door shot. But then our goalie will literally move out of the way of our opponents who just skate forward? And then our cpu defenders are lawn ornaments and theirs are lockdown. Make it make sense….
Transparent boards in defensive zone
Hi there, what about making the boards in the defensive zone (bottom of the screen from players perspective) transparent aslong as the puck is invisible and would be covered by the boards due to the camera perspective. In reality the players can also see the puck behind the net. or at least make an optional setting. Thanks for the feedbackQuestion about franchise mode / progression
So i see there are some 18-20 year olds that are undrafted in the minor leagues in roster edit. Do they go to get drafted again or do the 19 and 20 year olds go to free agency once they age out of the minor leagues? like if i start a franchise will i see them in the draft? also does anyone know what typical progression is? like if there is a top 9 F with high potential accuracy does he get to say 85 overall? or is all based off his stats? trying to edit players so the league plays out to my liking. also if someone is 80 overall and has a high potential accuracy but low potential range say AHL top 6 F but they are 80... do they decrease rapidly?
Package Trades
There use to be a time with this franchise, where you could combine players and coins in a trade. My proposal would be to bring that concept back. Perhaps elaborate a little further with the ability to auction off packages of players instead of just the single. You would be able to auction off a combination of players, items, coaches, arenas etc. Up to a max of say 4. It would stimulate the auction block, as well as being able to stabilise the pricing. As it is now. The auction market is flooded with cards that more than likely will never be traded or bought.Goalie tourney
Looking for more people to play with. Figured I would host a tournament. Preferably PS5 because we usually use a PS5 party but I could switch to discord if Xbox users want in. Must have a mic, let's talk about NHL 25 going into 26. Preferably people over the age of 25. I'm fine if this is 6s or 3s, typically I play 3s with this format for more chaos for the people who suck at goalie (me) All skill levels are welcome. I do play sweaty sometimes but this will NOT be one of those nights. Rules: Everyone must play goalie (at least once) it is okay if you are the absolute worst goalie on the planet (it will make it more fun) Everyone will be seeded (randomly unless specific people want to play against one another) when you're up, you and the other goalie draft your teams (snake draft) The winning goalie will move on to the next round. This tournament is just to have fun, it's not to be taken super serious. I like playing 3s, 6s, threes, arcade.. If enough interest is there by 9pm (ET) tonight we will get it going. I play BAP and only play BAP. I haven’t seen any of this Ice-Q technology in BAP. Then I see a whole video on the new and improved Ice-Q for NHL26. I just want to confirm, if you play Franchise mode or BAP mode, then one will not be able to see this AI first hand right? It’s only available in CHEL only. Is that correct? Ice-Q=Chel only and NO other mode?Why
Okay as a person who has actually played hockey in life why doesn’t my knowledge/anticipation of help me in Be A Pro? But yet I am limited by programming because my stick doesn’t actually have the range of the NPC’s stick. I get frustrated as I think I should be able to pick up a puck or intercept a pass but yet the programming doesn’t let me pick a puck up unless I am 4 steps ahead or I may get a credit for blocking a pass but it still goes where the NPC passed it. The game sliders seem to have no actual effect in the play of the game.
