The Cherry Bomb and Doom-Shroom animations need work.
So, after reading the title you may wonder why? Well starting with the cherry bomb, its lingers on the last frame too long as it didn't in the original game. Once you realize this it is pretty jarring and I notice it every time i use it. Now onto Doom-Shroom, it doesn't linger on the last frame too much like the cherry bomb does (unless it does, I haven't really checked though if it does its not too noticeable). But the problem is the animation entirely, it just looks weird, if you look at the original and Replanted animation side by side you will realize. Or if you just look at it, it just looks weird. Very odd occurrences (Bug, or maybe easter egg?)
I was at my cousin's house, so I don't have any screenshots to share, however.. A cabbage pult was randomly the PvZ cabbage pult while playing Coop roof (very curious) and, when playing i,Zombie Endless a Disco Zombie spawned a Michael Jackson backup dancer (even weirder!) During the fight with Dr. Zomboss, the one from the minigame or the one in adventure mode, when he is defeated his eyes have a visual glitch. Normally on the original versions of the game the eyes on the robot when killed are completely black. Strangely, in replanted the eyes when dead are a weird brownish green color, you can also see a white dot and little bits of wires on the right eye. This is hardly noticeable but y'know how the cactus plant has those three little balls sticking out of his head? Yeah, normally those are connected by little black lines. It is like that in the original versions, and in replanted its on the seed packet, and on the loading screen. Though the actual model of cactus seen when planted or in the almanac is missing those black lines, meaning those little balls are just levitating above her head. This is hard to notice but once you do you'll never unsee it. When playing the roof levels, you may wonder, how did the zombies get on the roof? Well, just like how they got in the backyard. On the original version of the game during the select screen, in the bottom right of the roof levels you can see a ladder leading up to the roof. Though in replanted the ladder is gone, and replaced with a fence? What... I think this is a product of the AI used but its funny to see a such a tall fence leading all the way up to the roof. So please, get rid of this freakishly long fence and replace it with the ladder that has always been there. Can't begin VS Mode
I can't figure out how to even get the mode to register that there are two players. I have my keyboard and mouse plugged in, a pair of JoyCons connected by bluetooth, and a PS4 controller plugged in via USB. All three input methods are registered by the game as "Player 1" simultaneously. Furthermore, I can't understnad what button is supposed to be pressed to make the game register an input method as player 2. It shows a generic "play button" icon which is not a real button on either controller. What the **bleep** do I do? Bug shown in video below, game seems to detect the first click on objects in the game (seen by buttons lighting up) but does nothing about the click i.e. clicking once on options wont open options, clicking multiple times but slow does not get recognised, only clicking 3 or more times in quick succession will yield a result. The game is unplayable in this state, game has been; restarted, uninstalled and reinstalled, files have been reverified, i've tried using a gamepad (where i get a similar problem) no solution in sight atp. Hello, I have a question regarding how to activate the speed up button when using switch 1 in handheld mode. On the bottom right corner, it suggests that the button would be using the "-" button on my right joycon, but pressing or holding that button actually does nothing to me? Am I using the right button? In the game help menu, this function is straight up not being mentioned... Despite every other buttons are mentioned. Obviously, tapping on the touchscreen directly works, but if I am using a controller to play I don't want to let go of the controller just to adjust the speed?
