Shop Glitch
The past 3 times that I’ve gone to purchase San Va bucks, there has been a glitch that automatically charges me for the next tier up. When I select the $25 pack, the next screen will show that I’m purchasing the $50 pack. The first 2 times I didn’t notice it, but this 3rd time I was ready for it, and to be fair it seems extremely sketchy to me. I had to cancel the transaction and re-click the $25 pack a bunch of times in order for it to show the right amount on the process confirmation screen. It happens via the EA launcher on PC. I doubt that anyone who develops or works on the coding for these specific menus will see this, and I know that there no chance of me getting my money back, but people need to be aware of it. When it comes to money, these glitches are NOT okay. Please be careful, you guys. I’m a huge fan of SKATE, but I’ve noticed that the game’s current hairstyle options for male characters are really limited—especially when it comes to minority hairstyles. Right now, a lot of styles available to men are pretty generic, and it feels like a lot of amazing, culturally significant styles are missing. For example, there’s no dedicated style for locs, cornrows, or braids in the male section. Even the wave hairstyle we have doesn’t really do waves justice—it just looks like a mohawk shape. I’d really love to see the developers add more diverse, realistic options—so everyone can see themselves and their culture represented in the game. Would be cool to see a more accessible suggestions part in the game itself plus a poll like system to pick out interests of the larger groups, or what people may even pay for. # more ways to spend coins even if its a small section daily / weekly. Fix this ASAP: when someone deletes their object that’s touching mine, it deletes all of my custom objects too. This is a terrible change. This didn’t happen in Season 01. We’re trying to build and use objects together, and this just ruins everything every time. Did you actually change this on purpose. Have you known about it since Season 02 and just left it like this. Even if the character modeling in this game aims a bit towards the unisex zone, it still feels very restricting when having to choose a body type. Essentially, there are four body types that cater more to the female body and four to the male, and it's just not enough. It makes it less enjoyable to skate in an avatar that you don't feel represented in. Adding at least four more body types, for each the "female" and "male" version, would be a great start. I'd specially like seeing more buff/athletic body types that cater to the female body; ones that aren't skinny by default, with broad shoulders, and with clearly visible abs.26Views0likes0CommentsFeedback on Translations (German & Others)
I've recently switched the game language to German just to see how things were translated — and I noticed that some of the localization in skate. (especially German, but also a few Spanish examples others mentioned) doesn’t always feel organic or natural. There are also a couple of minor mistakes. The translations technically work, but the tone or meaning sometimes shifts, and the phrasing can feel a bit... stiff. Example from my own profile English (original): “No trick in mind” German (current in-game): „Hat kein Lieblingstrick“ (has no favorite trick) German (more natural alternative): „Hab keinen Trick im Kopf“ „Keinen Trick parat“ „Gerade nix Konkretes“ These options match the casual, spontaneous tone much better — more like how people actually talk, and definitely more in line with skate culture. One example that caused real confusion: Manuals being labeled as grinds. This is a simple mistake, but it changes the meaning completely. Why this matters Not a huge issue overall, but smoother, more natural translations would make the game feel a lot more polished for international players. In the tour 3, i got a bug where i can't complete ir because of the last mision, where i can't make the last task, that is about do everything in a sequence. Even though I follow the task exactly as it says, it never shows as completed. I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but nothing has worked. Split the audio already. One slider for everything is dumb. ・My playlist ・Gesture music ・Ambient/world music The ambient tracks are the worst. If I stay in one spot, it just blasts the same loud, shouty garbage or songs I don’t even like on repeat. It’s straight up annoying. And the playlist is already bugged and plays random songs instead of mine, so this just makes it worse. If I mute the main volume to shut it up, then every time I use gestures with other players I have to turn it back on again.
