Can't start the trooper story
I was trying to play the trooper as my third character. During the first attempt, the scene where the ship was landing cannot load but the audio is still playing until the game crashes. When I attempted to relaunch the game, the conversation continued halfway until it crashed again. For the next few attempts, it just crashes everytime when I try to have a conversation with Gearbox. I was wondering if it was my 8gb ram that is insufficient, but I tried with the lowest resolution possible (800x600) and it has the same situation occurring. To troubleshoot, I tried to obtain exploration quests by talking to another NPC. The conversation and the gameplay work completely fine. Thus, it is not a problem with my laptop's specs. There must be a bug in it. I have found several other users facing this same problem.
Can't log-in to SWTOR
I've been unable to log-in to SWTOR since yesterday. I keep getting "The Display Name, Password, or Security Key you have entered is incorrect. Please confirm your login information." error. I don't have a Security Key but I could log-in to my account on swtor.com just fine. I thought they were doing some maintenance, but I guess not.
Remove Authenticator
Hi, does anyone know how to get an authenticator removed from your account if you also don't know the password? Last time i played was 2018 it looks like and i wanted to see the new changes and play the game again. Once i tried to login i remembered i had a physical authenticator i got with the collectors edition and have no idea where it may be. I did some searching and ended up empty handed. Its been like 7 years and i lost the authenticator, The problem now is its been 7 years and i also have no idea what the password is either. All of the help info says to try and sign in and once it fails you should see a link says 'i dont have my authenticator' or something like that. Unfortunately that must assume you know the password because if you dont it does not display a new page you just get a red banner that says login failed. So i tried to change my password. Using the link at the bottom of the sign in page 'i dont remember my password'. I got a reset password email sent to me like i should, but I am unable to use the reset password function because it also requires your authenticator to change the password. I get a red banner error 'account security key, display name, or recovery coded is invalid/expired' On the reset password email it dose say 'Remember, if you have a linked EA account, it will be reset with the new password.' So i figured if they are linked it may work the other direction so i changed my EA account password. That did not work using my new EA account password i got the same errors. I even tried to wait a day so see if it just took some time but i got the same results. Using EA help i went through all of this with them and tried the same steps using links they gave me and got the same results. They then told me 'after checking the information is not possible to locate the right account or any useful information' and to ask in this forum to see if anyone had some ideas. I know the display name of the SWTOR account and the attached email address but that's about it. If the account is linked to my EA account I am not sure why they would not be able to locate it. Also on my EA account i can see all of the charges for the subscription and cartel coins going back to 01-21-2012. Also because i was stupid and did not think how it would be used my SWTOR display name is my legal name with my middle initial. I would prefer to not to abandon my old account so any help is appreciated.
Cant subscribe to SWTOR
I want to subscribe again after a long pause not playing the game. When i try to get a subscription plan i get this messege: There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance. Also i want to know if i can use Revolut as a payment method.
dead security key cant sign into account
Hello, I was a old player back in the early days of the game. I bought the delux version with the box and all. I had a security key. Now I was thinking of signing in and trying out the game. Retreiving the password and typing the new password but leaving the security key space blank gives the following message: "Account security key, display name, or recovery code is invalid/expired" So what do I do, no password that I know of and cant retreive it? /best regards, David
No Mail and no Security Key..
Game: SWTOR I've been playing SWTOR since the Beta. Unfortunately, the email I used to register is no longer active and has been lost. To make matters worse, since I changed my phone, I no longer have the security code app with me, and I now find out that it no longer exists or is not updated with current phones. Therefore, I am blocked, I don't know how to access. I still have my password and username, but I can't have the code sent because it goes to the email and that is inaccessible, and I can't put the security key because the app no longer exists. What should I do?
Error 54002
I'm trying to buy a subscription, but i'm getting this error '54002'. I've searched for info and some online users said that to solve the problem I need to remove my EA saved payments info. But the problem is that I never used EA(ea.com) to buy anything. I've always used swtor.com to buy my subscription. Is there a way to solve this? Another question is: I've downloaded my game from swtor.com, is it okay for me to buy the subscription from Steam? Or it'll cause an error?
My toons are missing
I don't know why the **bleep** I have to do this but my higher level toons are gone and the only help I can maybe get is this **bleep**. So I guess if anyone has any idea as to why my characters are gone then cool, otherwise, what the **bleep** are any of you supposed to do about this? **bleep** this game
cant buy anything from the online shop
so i got a problem with the shop not the ingame shop but the shop on the official swtor site it always say pls try again later, one important thing is i just made the account because i lost my old one so maybe its a account problem. pls help me i am very thankful for every tipp
Shae Vizla's Battle-Scarred Armor: Dyes not functioning.
I bought Shae Vizla's Battle-Scarred Armor, and it has a dye slot but when I use the Black and Deep Red dye module it does nothing. I have the module slotted in its proper spot, but no colors change. Even in the preview, colors do not change. Is this intended? If so, can the dye slot be removed as this is very misleading.Log in assistance
I'm stuck in a catch-22. I need to reset my password but can't because I previously organised the security key through the official app, which I no longer have because of phone issues and it was wiped. Which means I can't deactivate the security key or re-download it and link it to my account because I need to reset the password...
