Black screen and crashed Win 11 Home
Sure, got a cheap computer but everything else works just fine?! Specs: ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS WIFI II AMD Ryzen 5 5500 ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 EVO OC Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MHz 16GB Kingston NV3 SSD 1TB Yeah, I simply can’t play Star Wars: The Old Republic because I get a permanent black screen every time I try to launch the game or click Play in the launcher. The screen goes black, and neither Alt+Enter nor Ctrl+Alt+Delete works — no command seems to get me out of the black screen. Restarting the computer or doing a hard shutdown by cutting the power doesn’t help either, as the screen remains black until I boot into the recovery tool and restore the OS to a previous restore point. That’s the only thing that works! … At one point I even reinstalled Windows, but it’s the same story all over again. I had planned to try the fix of tweaking the client setting-file, which seems to work for most people with similar issues, but since I can’t launch the game at all, I don’t get a client_settings.ini file. So far, I've run it through Steam. Maybe I should try a direct installation, though I'm **bleep** tired of restoring my OS. Other games I play are working fine. I’ve double-checked the drivers for pretty much everything I can think of, so everything is up to date. Would be fun to get SWTOR running, especially since my son wants us to play it together. I downloaded the Public Test Server version of Stars Wars Old Republic. When I try to connect to a server, it displays an error "This account is not authorized to connect to our servers". I've never been banned or suspended. Does anyone know why I can't connect to the Public test server? Linking and Unlinking Steam Account
I'm a returning player who recently remade their account and forgot the email and password to my old one. Unfortunately, whenever I try to link it to steam, it says I can't and that I haven't linked my SWTOR account to steam, I logged in through steam on my old account and I'm not sure how to unlink that old dead account especially when I don't remember any details of it. No security key app and forgot password
I don't have access to my security app anymore because my phone broke. I also forgot my password. However, in order to reset the password I need the security key.. so you can see my dilemma. There is no response from EA support (It says the case has been updated but no responses visible?) Can't progress story mission (smuggler) "A farewell to arms" due to bug
Hi, I'm currently doing the vanilla story for smuggler and I'm on Balmorra. The quest I'm currently on is "A farewell to arms" and the step is "Access the Nebula Shipment Control Station". I'm in front of the control station but when I click it I see a convo starting up and then it just gives me a line of text (something about it controlling the tug droid pilots) and nothing else. No options to choose from and it just stays on that. I can still press esc to get out of it but I'm stuck. I've reset the quest 3 times, zoned out and in, restarted the game and nothing helps. No longer have access to email on account
Hi Team, I'm a returning SWTOR player from years ago wanting to get back into the game. I can't seem to find my account details saved anywhere in my password manager and I believe the email address linked to my account is one that I no longer have access to (the account was deleted). I'm pretty sure I also had an authenticator linked which I no longer have access to. How can I get access to my account again? When I log in to my EA account I can see SWTOR transactions in my transaction history, and I can even see the original purchase of the game there. I believe my display name is "Wevvin". Hi, i started a 30 day recurring subscription through the website a couple weeks ago, and i'm now using the steam launcher instead of the website launcher. Old Email address
Hi all. I have a problem. My old email address is no longer active, /@citromail.hu/ but I didn't change it for 2 years before it was discontinued. Now i try to log into my old account, they send me one time pass. But i cant log in because my email it no longer exists. How can i change my email? I was a subscriber for about a year. Know my pass, old email, Char names, accont datas, phone number, billing infos. What do you think i can recover my acc? Thank you for your help. Cannot log in due to account being suspended
Just to try and get a non-bot answer: no, I have not, to my knowledge, violated any ToS. No, my account has not been hacked (I have been playing just fine yesterday). I have not received any notices of suspension with the reason why. Also, no, I cannot call the help line, as I am not in any of the countries that have them. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU???????
I haven't logged into the game for 5-7 days and suddenly discovered that my account was blocked. I didn't give my data to anyone, I didn't use cheats myself and why would I need them here. THEN WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOU??? I wrote to tech support, but they're just silent, and I can't call because I'm not from an English/French/German country and for me this call would be very, very, very expensive, and I'm not particularly good at knowledge of these languages. password recovery doesnt work
