Account Suspension Appeal - WubuBududu
Dear Star Wars: The Old Republic Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally appeal the suspension of my game account. My Display Name is WubuBududu. I was an active player in early 2023 before taking a break from the game. Recently, I was very excited to return to the galaxy far, far away, only to discover that I am unable to log in and that my account has been suspended. I have not received any email notification about this action, so I am unaware of the specific reason for the suspension or when it was enacted. After considering possible reasons, I believe the suspension might be related to my use of a "game accelerator" service. I am a passionate Star Wars fan playing from China. Due to the high latency and connection instability when connecting to the game servers from my region, using an accelerator is necessary for me to have a stable and playable gameplay experience. I want to assure you that my sole intention was to reduce lag and improve my connection quality. I have never used any third-party programs for cheating, botting, exploiting, or any other activities that violate the Terms of Service. I have always strived to be a positive member of the SWTOR community. I sincerely believe this suspension may be a misunderstanding based on my network activity. I would be extremely grateful if you could review the activity logs on my account and reconsider this suspension. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Hello. I have two accounts in the game (at the moment one with a subscription, the other is not) I played on an account with a subscription (on my main PC) and decided to launch the game on a laptop (my 2nd PC) by logging into the second account without a subscription, I haven't updated the game on the laptop for a long time, in the middle of the update I was thrown out of the game to the server selection screen (on the main PC), after which when I try to log into the game from both PCs and on two (different) accounts, I start an endless loading... Both accounts are linked to the same email. How can I solve this problem and what is the problem? Hey guys, I have a small issue with my SWTOR account. I want to subscribe for the game, but whenever I try to issue 409 comes out and it tells me the following "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support for further assistance." I dont know how to contact customer support. Hello, I just started playing SWTOR again and have Preffered status. I wanted to change my companion's appearance, but it doesn't work because it "Requieres Crew Member Appearance Authorization". Few years ago, i bought this authorization account wide, but for some reason, it doesn't work now. All my older characters have this authorization and can change companion's appearance freely, so why i can't do that on new character? I'm playing on Darth Malgus with all my characters. I also noticed that this Authorization is no longer avaiable on Cartel Market or GTM, did something change or is it some kind of error? So you have pressed play and the game isn't starting correctly. Here are some common symptoms and solutions: Game appears in taskbar, or appears as a sliver on screen, or alters windows resolution or is stuck at the initial loading screen First thing to try is simply pressing ALT + Enter keys (twice can be needed) , if this brings the game back, go into preferences and set the resolution settings again. Game flashes black screen and closes or is stuck at the initial loading screen, or game goes not responding Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time Copy the following in to the text box and press ok %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings Open the client_settings.ini file in notepad and ensure the following are displayed within the [Renderer] section if they dont exist. Fullscreen = false D3DFullScreen = false RefreshRate = 60 Check NativeHeight, NativeWidth, Height and Width ( all 4 ) match your monitor resolution. Save and close the file. Start the game as normal. Change graphic settings within the game as desired. If it is file related then a repair will usually sort it, details to repair are Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair. (repair is only available if an issue is detected) If your Launcher is via Steam: See this link for directions Screen is displaying a solid color before or at the character select screen Press ALT + Enter first to switch to window mode and back to fullscreen otherwise follow the directions for Game flashes black screen and closes Recently Upgraded or Installed Windows and never played before on this computer Install this particular Direct X Redist and ensure the video drivers are up to date. If the above doesn't help If that doesn't help you can try a Clean Boot. If that works re-enable one thing at a time to find the conflict. Next, you will of course want to remove and re-add both launcher.exe and swtor.exe to the AV and Firewall exception lists as sometimes after a patch the exceptions fail due to the file change. i dont know if you can help me but im tired with the support team of EA since yesterday im still trying with the launcher but every time it says that the conexion service is not avaliable and find more details on Twitter but there is nothing about it. My internet is good ive tried to uninstall so many times the launcher and still the same. And also they ask me for a temporary code witch i gave it but they said that is not correct im not dumb. I just bought a new armor set and equipped the pieces i liked in my outfit, then deleted the other ones to save inventory space. I now wanted one of the pieces and went to look for the set in my collections but it wasn't there and there's no option to purchase the ability to unlock it with other characters like I've done before. Hey all, My EA Account and swtor account were banned on the 3rd of july for literally no reason at all. I started a ticket through EA for my account and it was overturn't as i literally did nothing wrong. At the same time my swtor account was banned but i have actually no way to contact SWTOR. Im in australia. I cant login to my swtor account, the only options im given to contact the SWTOR team are by calling various overseas numbers, submitting a ticket in game (which i cant do), getting help from other plays on answers HQ or reporting a bug. Can anyone suggest how i can get my account unbanned? before it was banned i hadnt played in like 2 months. Hello, I purchased the Dramatic Extrovert Armor Set Cartel Market item from the Underworld Exchange Reputation vendors in the Cartel Bazaar section of the Fleet. I used it on my character named Aelfina and it did not successfully unlock in collections for my account or character. Can you please manually unlock it in my collections for my character so it is marked as collected in collections.
