Error code 216
This is an issue that would appear to be a simple fix with either internet or server issues, but unfortunately every solution I have researched has not worked for me. I have tried to reset my router, uninstall and reinstall, tweak all kinds of settings and I still get the same error code 216 every single time I try multiplayer. What’s weird is that it began around two years ago. I would play a lot and then slowly I would get this error code more often until it was all I got. I have no clue on what to do or if I should contact EA support because I am fairly sure it is an issue on their end, but I am open to any suggestions on what to try or any support. Hi Returning player, cant login into my account. Last time i played i still had the Swtor authenticator app installed on my phone. That Phone got destroyed by driving over it with a forklift at work. Nothing from it could be saved. Now i wanted to replay the game, but i cant log in. Tried password reset, checked the name trough forgot the name link. Everything is a it should be. Phoned swtor support UK talked to them for 20 min. Did another password reset. Still cant log in. They said F2A is not active on my account. On the Swtor site the error is: Login failed, Try again. On the launcher the error is : The display name, password, or security key you have entered is incorrect. please confirm your login i triple checked my name and password are correct. Hello, I would like to ask for help regarding a login issue that has been ongoing for 4 weeks without any improvement. What is happening The launcher does not let me log in. The website login also fails. login.swtor.com sometimes returns a “non‑existent domain” DNS error. My account is not suspended and has no restrictions. The issue happens on every device and every network I try. Earlier today, I had 10,365 of these pieces to upgrade Era characters. Today I unlocked 5 star Rotta and earned another 3,250 pieces. BUT now I have only 10,000 pieces. Did CG just incorporate a cap limit on these pieces? Was there a communication I missed? Did they do it on other pieces? Or am I doing something wrong. Since Rotta is a solo beast, I made it all the way to tier 12. Even though he's listed as having infinite health, at a certain point, the dragon went through the death animation and I was kicked out with my score, even though there are plenty of prize tiers ahead. Hey guys, I'm having a really weird issue. I finally installed my new 1TB HDD today, downloaded the game, created my account, and everything seemed to work fine. But when I try to log into the game, it keeps saying my username or password is incorrect. The weird thing is I can log into the website with the exact same account just fine. I've been playing the game on and off since release but had some pretty significant hiatus periods, and an especially long one since 2018/2019. After getting the inspiration to play again recently, I wanted to get one of the bundles from the Store to kick things off, but was told by the website that there was an issue with the account (mind you I can log into the game perfectly fine and play). Going into the account settings, the issue appears to be that the SWTOR account is linked to an inactive EA account. I vaguely remember losing access to the EA account I initially bound my SWTOR account to, and I'm fairly sure that the email associated with the EA account in question no longer exists. The question now is: How do I go about fixing this? All SWTOR related mail goes to my new email and I use the associated password for logging into the game, so should I theoretically be able to log int o the account as well (assuming I can remember the username)? After logging in with my password and security key and clicking play, the game does not take me to the character selection screen. Instead, it takes me to the server selection screen and when I attempt to click on my server with all my characters. It shows me a server connection error message.
