My son's account

When I changed my phone I lost my son's account since it was linked to my old email address and phone number.  I have a screenshot of his character and would like to find a way to transfer the account to his email address. Is there anything I can do or am I just fighting a losing battle trying to transfer his character to his account. He plays on  switch, pc, and i believe sony ps4.

I could use some help in this matter since I haven't been able to find the best way to access that old account.

OldManNaruto Sadly, you won't be able to transfer your Apex progress and data to another EA Account, however, (as mentioned above), you can contact EA Support and request that they update your email address for your old EA Account.

OldManNaruto It sounds like they have a few other cases to get through, (so you can either wait it out or try contacting them again later).

So I tried going through all these steps and it tells me I need to wait 240 minutes to talk to an customer support agent. Not sure but shouldn't there be a quicker way to get help with this issue?

    [Part 2]:

If you have a linked platform account, (shown below), you can also sign in by logging into that platform account when contacting EA Support:

Note: If you do have a linked platform account and you try to sign into your EA Account here: My EA Account | Sign In to update your email address yourself, just know that it does require an email, (or a 2-step code), for verification:

If you do have 2-step verification turned on, (and you also have access to the codes it generates), you can go ahead and log into your EA Account [here] by signing in with your linked platform account, and then you can update your email address yourself.

Makes sense, but how do I regain access to my old account?

OldManNaruto You would want to contact EA Support [here], and let them know that you need help with updating your login information.

Since you cannot sign into your EA Account, you would want to click on "continue as a guest" once the page loads:

Afterwards, you would then fill in the boxes and click on "submit", (be sure to put in "update EA Account" as the issue type and write down what you are needing help with updating):

Makes sense, but how do I regain access to my old account?

  • OldManNaruto Since your son's account is still a child account, you would need to regain access to your EA Account and then upgrade his EA Account to a teen account in order to apply his own email to it.

Here are some links to help you with doing so:

If needed, you can directly contact EA Support here:

Note: Since you cannot log into your EA Account, you would want to click on "continue as a guest".
