How does Apex keep making the game better and worse at the same time
Like how does Apex fix the whole movement and accuracy thing then make the circle worse for duos its literally a constant gamble to win in this terrible game. What am I even saying tho I expect nothing less from EA. Theyre terrible old EA was the best and I wish wish wish I could go back to that peak era before they took the game to the floor! Also in duo's it's a gamble for your life, its either drop hot and hope no one is unemployed enough to hit all their shots or is sweating in non ranked, or drop where no one goes just to see noone for the entire game just to get killed by someone with maxed out gear....... wow this game is terrible. However the only thing thats good is trios! Thank god that mode still brings back nostalgia. I know people are about to comment get good and stuff so go ahead. Hey everyone, Apologies as English is not my first language. I’m making this post to see how many other ordinary, casual players got caught up in a false-positive ban wave. My account was permanently banned on 20th of May for "Gameplay Enhancement," and despite submitting multiple appeals, I am stuck in an endless loop of receiving the exact same automated bot responses denying my claim. To be completely transparent, here is my situation: My Setup: 100% clean, vanilla PC environment. No background macro software, no third-party overlay tools, and absolutely no cheats. My Stats: I am a completely average player. My lifetime peak rank is Platinum 3. I play purely on *bleep* skill, and my performance logs easily back this up—I am simply not good enough at this game to warrant a "gameplay enhancement" flag. Account Value: I have spent my own real money on this account to unlock characters and cosmetics. No logical player would risk their financial investment and an account they care about just to exploit a game. 4000 Hours were also spent on this game. It seems there is a massive double standard happening. We constantly see big streamers and popular content creators get their false bans reviewed and overturned, while everyday players like us are left completely ignored, getting banned "blindly" by a glitched automated system. it feels like free cheats softwares has been widly circulated among cheaters out of nowhere they are blatantly hacking without even trying to hide it , cranking the aimbot settings all the way up, most of chese people were just bad script kiddies before and now the game's completely unplayable [Title changed by CM for clarity. after i tried appeal my ban 2 times, i felt frustrated, but since i see so many wrong ban in this forum, i think theres so much mistakes with the ToS. i stopped playing apex June 2025 cause i have bad condition inside my body, yesterday i want to play again with my old friend, but how can it be possible my account got banned at August 2025? Hello everyone, EA_Leeuw EA_Lanna EA_Edu EA_Mako I am creating this thread because my account has been completely bricked by a server-side Cross-Progression glitch, and EA’s Live Chat/Phone Support is actively manipulating and closing tickets to avoid doing their jobs. I will attach all screenshots to this post as absolute proof of this disaster. The Technical Issue: My account is permanently stuck in "Queue: 1" whenever I try to play Apex Legends on my PS5. Another account on the exact same console and network works perfectly, which proves with 100% certainty that this is a server-side database issue tied directly to my specific EA ID profile (RixxFixxFire1717). The origin of the bug: I previously had a PC ban that was officially investigated and lifted by the Terms of Service (ToS) team. However, due to the cross-progression system, the old PC matchmaking or Easy Anti-Cheat sanction flag remains physically stuck deep in the backend database. It is falsely blocking my console profile from matchmaking. This is an individual database conflict that ONLY a database administrator or senior technician can fix with a manual profile resync. The Support Nightmare (Chronological Proof in Screenshots): Instead of getting actual technical help, I have spent days trapped in a manipulative loop with front-line support agents who clearly operate out of outsourced call centers, focusing entirely on their internal closing quotas rather than solving player issues. The Phone Call & Preeti (Chat 1): I called phone support, and the agent promised me that the issue was officially escalated to the specialist team. However, the ticket status remained stuck on "Waiting on Player". When I questioned this in chat, the advisor Preeti blatantly lied to me, claiming: "Waiting on player means in progress" (See Screenshot). Anyone who knows basic ticketing systems knows this is false—if left like this, the system auto-closes the ticket after a few days due to player inactivity. The Fake Closure: When I called them out on their system limitations, the ticket status was manually changed from "Updated by Customer" to "No solution available" within exactly ONE MINUTE (See Screenshots at 12:34 PM and 12:35 PM). They literally closed my open ticket as unfixable just to get it out of their active queue and save their call center metrics! Anurag & Aditya (Chat 2 - The "Dedicated Queue" Scam): I forced the case open again. The agent Anurag transferred me to a supposedly "dedicated queue" to review my account. Aditya took over. The "Feedback" Trick: After explaining the database issue, Aditya tried the oldest trick in the book: he claimed he would report my individual, game-breaking account issue as a general "bug report on my behalf" and told me to go to the forums to "upvote similar feedbacks" so it gets highlighted (See Screenshots). When I explicitly told him to stop misrepresenting my bricked account as simple game "feedback" and asked a direct Yes/No question whether this specific ticket (#243866256) would remain open for a Senior Technical Specialist, he completely ignored my question. He copy-pasted the exact same automated script a second time, stating: "I won't be able to promise you any time frame... as this will be investigated by our game team." Why I am posting this here: Front-line support agents do not have the database access required to clear stuck server flags. However, by falsifying case statuses, calling account-breaking errors "feedback," and forcing tickets closed as "No solution available," they are actively gatekeeping and preventing paying customers from ever reaching an actual EA/Respawn technician. I am tracking this under Case ID: #243866256. I need a Community Manager or Forum Moderator to escalate this thread directly to the actual technical engineering team at Respawn/EA to manually clear the stuck matchmaking flag on my EA ID. It’s been a week or more since my false ban literally want to play apex but I don’t want to make a new account. Seriously, are we playing the same game? I've never seen so many people walling in my entire time playing this. After my 2 teammates were downed in one game I ran through 2 jump towers and booked it across the map only to have 2 full squads drop EXACTLY on my head, I guess they didn't think another squad would do that too. The very next match I had a guy I can't send a report and video in with because his name was all chinese characters, he was level 27 with a 4k and 20 bomb badge, and he knew exactly what corners we'd peak around, he was literally waiting for us evey single time, the most blatent waller I've ever seen. I play Valk, and for the last week or so, I have been REPEATEDLY killed by players being stunned by my alt. Originally, one could bomb your foes while dropping, and at least injure them with gunfire as they are stunned, but apparently no more. Hi respawn, Just a quality of life change idea, it would be amazing if everyone had a lifetime one chance to refund an heirloom they bought. Me and many other players acquired an heirloom right before the release of universal heirlooms through sheer grinding, and since my main got nerfed hard(Seer) I don't play him anymore and its as if I don't even have an heirloom, if I would have gotten heirloom shards after the release of a universal heirloom I would have definitely got that instead so I could use it on all legends. Solution for Solo q; have one server for it
I tought about this, seems like crybabies dont want solo q , they prefer hard carry with friends on smurfs, which means I get matched against them in GOld and Plat lobbies. But I don't want that, this is destoying rank integrity, Masters get on smurfs and come kill us solo q players in Gold and Platinum preventing us from reaching the rank we deserve: Diamond. So since we can't have a solo q mode on every server it could make wait times too long, how about we have only 1 dedicated server for solo q on each continent, if you want solo q just log on the Central America server, or on the London2 server. Have one solo q server here and there where all solo q players can go to and be free from hard carries. Because doing that thing with Diamond and up means those players will go on smurfs even more to play with their gold and plat friends. It will be disgusting for the lower ranks. Pros dont care about lower ranks, I got killed by ItzTimmy in Silver 3 the other week... how is that not WORST than a 3 stack pred fighting 3 stack Diamond players? Cause nobody cares about GOld and Plat lobbies , they are the trash lobbies where anybody can play and where 18 kills 4500 damage happens all the time. I’ve not played the game last since 2020-2021 and right before I stopped playing I unlocked a heirloom. Now that I’ve started back playing my heirloom is missing. I talked with the customer service, and she was nice but I basically got told “I cannot retrieve the heirloom because you hadn’t filed a complaint soon enough” even though this is to no fault of my own. How was I to know I needed to log into the game and check every so often to see if the items I’ve worked hard for and spent hundreds of dollars on are still there? I showed everything I could, and asked that would cooperate anything like “ share screen” yet I got denied 10th already and I do not know what to do. Since my region are not able to contact live chat I do not know where and what way to contact again People have same issue and spend money and time. I want to raise serious concerns about two critical issues in Apex Legends: the misuse of the reporting system and the complete failure of the appeal process, which together are destroying the experience for legitimate, high‑skill players. First, Apex Predator is only a rank title, not a permission to judge or ban others. Predator players have no special moderation privileges, yet their reports carry disproportionate weight due to fame and community influence. We have seen well‑documented cases: QQ, a former world champion, was banned after mass reports despite having no cheats. Dandanshu, the World’s No.1 Predator in Season 28, was repeatedly reported and banned while competing for the top position, severely delaying his rank push. Many top Chinese Predators have also faced sudden bans without clear evidence. This proves that Apex’s ban system has no bottom line: skilled players who outperform others are easily targeted by mass, low‑threshold reports. Second, the in‑game reporting system has almost zero barriers. Any player can report anyone, anytime, without evidence, video, or reason. There is no penalty for false or malicious reports. When a streamer or high‑rank player loses to a better opponent, they can simply rally their fans to mass‑report that player — and the system will auto‑flag and ban them before any real investigation. Worst of all, the appeal system is completely broken. After being wrongfully banned: I cannot contact any EA support staff despite trying for days. There is no working appeal 入口; I cannot create a case. I cannot even change my bound email. The process is full of bugs and does not follow any official rules. For players pushing for Top 100 Predator, such delays are devastating. A false ban plus an unusable appeal system means losing rank points, missing the rank reset, and possibly dropping out of Predator entirely through no fault of their own. Is this really how Apex Legends treats its most dedicated players? Are skilled competitors supposed to live in fear of mass reports and broken appeals? I ask the community managers and review team to look into these systemic issues urgently, review wrongful bans like mine, and fix the broken appeal process.
