I can't add a phone number to my account.
I have been trying to add a phone number to my account for the past week or so since setting up and every time it says "Something went wrong. Try again later.". I have opened support requests with advisors who only offer generic advice and claim they can't add one on their end. Account hacked EA support not registering my case despite multiple contacts
I purchased games through Epic Games, and after a long time, when I logged into the EA Games portal, I noticed that my account was linked to a completely different email address. When I submitted a complaint to EA Games, it was not properly recorded. I kindly request that an authorized representative contact me directly. I will provide the necessary information at that time. My EA account has previously been linked to a steam account that has not and has never been owned by me, I have unlinked that account however, I am now unable to link to my actual steam account as "An EA account can only be linked to one steam account in its lifetime.". I suspect this came from when my EA account got hacked last Jan and EA support rectified my access but I guess didn't check to see if any random accounts got linked during the period I lost access. I also never got an answer as to how they got it when I have 2fa enabled but that's a different issue we're unlikely to get to the bottom of. So far I have raised 6 support cases about this all have keep getting closed and marked as resolved with no notes, no email and no interaction from any live support or email. EA live chat support was telling me that The Sims Medieval was not linked to my account despite my having purchased it in 2015. They requested an invoice for a purchase I made a decade ago as "proof", which I've finally found. However, they seem to have locked my ability to use the live chat function and there is seemingly no way to contact them via phone or email. So the EA account that is connected to my Xbox account can no longer be accessed because the email is no longer valid and I believe it was changed without my permission which goes to tell me it was possibly hacked. The problem is, is that it’s still connected to my Xbox account and there no way for me to either change the email address or unlink my Xbox account because it wants me to submit a code that was sent to the unknown email address. I have reached out with support tickets multiple time and they continue to close the tickets out as “resolved” in which they have never contacted me about the issue nor fixed the issue at all. The account was created back in 2013 in which has a lot of saved data on it and I would hate to loose the entire account, I don’t see why it’s such a big issue with updating a email address on a account. I have already reached out to google multiple time in which it goes no where because the email is not mine in which I don’t know the verifications to get into that email. All I’m trying to do is unlink my Xbox account that way I can link it to my new EA account or either update the email that is currently connected to my Xbox account. My PS5 is linked to a disabled account. I created a new account and tried to link it to my PS5, but I am unable to do so. I have no idea what the email was or what the login information is for the disabled account. How do I delete it or unlink it from my PS5? I have spent at least an hour now fumbling through the EA help menu. I hit contact us and tried to create a ticket, but it won't submit either. This customer service is not very user-friendly and is quite aggravating. Please, can a person reach out to me to help me? I recently got games pass and need to link my xbox account to my current EA account. The problem is when I try to do this EA tells me the xbox account is already linked to an "to your EA Account for 0f*****@disabled.ea.com". So how am I suppose to unlink it from that account if it is disabled and can't be signed into? I have tried multiple support tickets and they have all been closed with no replies or resolutions from support. I also cannot seem to open a chat - always seeing a screen saying advisors dont support this issue. So as it stands, my xbox account cannot be used with EA as it is linked to another EA account that doesn't exist. Ban appeal on the case number 221240912. The banned Username EA ID is Heartbeach. The EA account was banned accessing every video game forum of EA. I have contacted EA help, additionally they informed me to post ban appeal on the EA forums by new EA account, thereafter they will unban the EA account. Please unban the account. The EA account did nothing mistaken, misguided and illegal. The EA account just shared feedback, opinion, thoughts and conviction regarding the video games that the EA account purchased&played on video game forums of EA. The ban/judgement was a mistake. I have discovered what appears to be a systemic and egregious error in the automated service to verify newly created accounts. It appears that many, if not all, newly created EA Accounts are receiving a permanent ban approximately a week after creation while committing no violation or action which would warrant such an extreme response. This appears to be impacting customers in all regions, platforms and situations. Some background on my exact situation. I created a new EA Account (not this one) on June 30th, 2025 with the intention of accessing the web-based services for an EA mobile game I have been playing for many years. Account creation worked fine and over the course of the next week I accessed this web-based store once daily to shop. Interacting with no other players, requesting no additional services, and committing no untoward actions. Exactly one week later, on July 7th, 2025, I received an email notification stating that account had been permanently banned for repeated violations of the Terms of Service. You can see on the attached history that no violations had been reported. Additionally, once an account has been moved into this status, customer support at EA.Help are no longer able to provide assistance as this situation can only be resolved via the Claims Appeal process to the Terms of Service team. Unfortunately, again, submitted appeals for accounts in this situation appear to be automatically denied by the same AI management vetting service which caused the initial problem. From the patron side, this creates an unresolvable situation as it is far too difficult to communicate with a live customer service representative. Patrons are left with no recourse other than giving up and abandoning any participation or engagement with EA Services. A spotlight needs to be shined on this situation entirely. A brief google search or online forum review will identify dozens upon dozens patrons reporting this exact issue. If other online communication trends are consistent, that means that these reports are a mere faction (<1%) of the actual instances of this incorrect automated response being forced upon customers who are operating appropriately with the EA ecosystem.Solvedjrodfantastic6 hours agoNew Traveler17Views0likes1Commentfactor authentication

I have seen this somewhere but there has been no real fix as the people that reported it had a different issue. I dont have a problem accessing my EA account, I have never changed email address but it seems like after some research EA just likes to scramble the IDs if the accounts aren't in used for a while? And that is what is being used in all the games. Also kicker is if i look at my linked account, it has zero problem seeing my steam account using the same name, or under my game personas (in the edit account page), it can see all my other EA games using the same name. only difference is battlefield where it also had my old clan tag. In my EA app, my nickname is set to my ID. If i login to my account and try to edit the ID to match the nickname it tells me that is is already in use.
