Crackling sound making it unplayable
Title screen, Varric doing his monologue and character creation all play sound with no problem but the second I got to the first cutscene with my rook and then into Mintrathous the sound is constantly crackling and cutting out. Have tried every possible audio setting in game and updated drivers. (On windows 10)
Dragon Age: Veilguard Crashes within a minute
Just got the game on steam. It loads up, then goes into the settings selection menu. Within a few seconds, it freezes and crashes. I tried speeding through the settings, reducing graphics from Ultra to High, same thing. Graphics card (NVIDIA 4090) and Windows is already updated.Lucanis romance bug after Act 1 decision
Because it's DEFINITELY a bug that lucanis is perma-locked out of romance if you don't save Treviso, while you get to still romance neve eventually for the EQUAL and opposite decision? Especially while not telling us so, with text simply saying that growing the relationship will progress slower after being hardened (the SAME thing it says for neve's romance, which is still possible while lucanis' isn't as far as anyone has been able to discover) EA wouldn't punish one of the romance options that would be predominantly chosen by women while most male players get to save a city AND get the girl. As well as having a romance that completely locks you out of the best ending if you pursue it, when NO OTHER companion romance is tethered to a big plot decision like that.
Cant finish Regrets of the Dread Wolf
In Heights of Athim, I jumped down the Path of Solas memories by mistake and held on the ledge and went out of the area... After a while i came back to finish the quest, but now when i jump down, the Memory wont trigger and the Path is blocked a little later.. Bc the script wont start, theres no way for me to get the last Wolf statuette. I already progressed to far to reload an older save...
Game Save Progress Missing
For the last couple gaming sessions, Dragon Age Veilguard has lost the most recent saved progress. For my last manual save, my character was in Arlithan Forest, standing in front of Harding to take the boat to the next area, and when I came back a day later the save was gone. The last manual and automatic saves are oddly in the exact same spot, and I've probably lost about an hours worth of progress, along with multiple manual and automatic saves. I opened a case with EA, but is anyone else encountering this problem?Crashing During Cut Scenes

Hair color keeps changing
I’m playing Veilguard on PS5, and I have a medium blonde preset hair color. It changes constantly depending on the lighting (despite looking fine in the different lighting options of character creation); for instance, sometimes it’s black, other times it’s brown, etc. The game seems to be running fine otherwise, but the hair color changing wildly is frustrating! So I do want to say I have had to start over, I was 30 hours into my first save, because I missed a companion quest and realize they are important for late game. So I decided to just start over. I’ve been looking into how to romance characters and keeping them alive while trying to stay as spoiler free as possible, but did see about how the choice for Minrathos and Treviso can cause bothe Lucanis and Neve to harden depending on which you choose. I chose Treviso in my first playthrough and plan to do it on my second because A, I decided to pick being a Crow as a background and B, I wanted to Romance Lucanis. People were saying that if you didn’t pick Treviso it would lock you out but now that I’m back and doing his first couple of companion quests, I realized something. The Bidding Farewell Companion Quest does NOT trigger as complete. So essentially not only does it lock you of of the Hero status for end game, but I also think it locks you out of the romance as well. Can anyone confirm to me whether this quest is complete for them? It’s the quest where you go to the little get together for the first Talon. I also checked my old save file and it isn’t marked as a Completed Quest there either.No Companion Dialogue During Enemy Battles
I’m currently having an issue where companion dialogue during fights seems to be bugged. I haven’t had any at all for a solid 10+ hours of gameplay now and nothing I’ve tried, like rebooting the game and console, has brought it back. It seemed to start around the time I locked in Emmrich’s romance, as I heard his romance specific fight dialogue once and then I’ve had nothing from any of the companions since then.Dragon Age Veilguard PC crash
My DA Veilguard keeps crashing and is practically unplayable. I have tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to work. It took me three seperate tries to get through character creation before my monitor went black and my PC wouldn't turn off. Each time this happens I have to switch it off by the mains because nothing else works. All drivers are up to date Windows is fully updated Antivirus software is operating well Updated BiOS Verified integrity of game files Set game to run as administrator Reconfigured preferred setting in NVIDIA control panel Deleted shaders in local files Soft reboot my PC Cleared cache and flushed DNS I am at a loss.
Game Breaking Mission Bug
Minor spoiler for mission name, that's it. Had to return to the lighthouse for "A Change on the Wind" and after teleporting, the cut scene does not happen. I tried walking around, falling off the map, loading an earlier save file, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing triggers this cut scene, so I can no longer move forward in the campaign.
