Vee repeating herself
I completed a mission and Vee told me to go to extravert to claim a reward. After I claimed it I and in a permanent loop of her saying “ I’ll also keep it up with new challenges, tours and other helpful things for finding your way around” After each time she finishes her sentence she opens up my map and immediately goes b ack to repeating herself. I can’t move or do anything. I have tried restarting my ps5 and deleting and re-installing the game but right as I open the game this keeps on happening.
Cosmetic Pricing, FOMO, and Fairer Solutions for Everyone
So after sticking with skate. for a while now, the pricing of cosmetic items is honestly one of the most frustrating parts of the game since the beginning. I’d genuinely love to spend money on this game, but right now the price and value just don’t match. At times it almost feels like the items are priced out of caution — as if there's a worry players wouldn’t buy another one — and that makes it hard to justify supporting the shop. The Main Problems Prices randomly go up even on re-released items (e.g., Grim Reaper skin suddenly more expensive, with the original price shown as a “discount”). Basic recolors or slapped-on graphics sold for premium prices (350 SVB or more). Bundles priced like luxury products even when they only contain minor variations of existing items. FOMO-driven rotations that pressure players to check the shop daily. Season Pass cosmetics feeling like filler, despite being one of the few consistent sources of items. It’s not that players won’t pay — it's that the value proposition feels off, and that creates frustration instead of trust. Realistic Solutions 1. Introduce a Price Baseline for Common Items Set consistent price ranges: Simple recolors → lower tier Brand collabs or unique models → mid tier Complex or premium designs → high tier No more random spikes. Just predictable pricing that feels fair. 2. Reward Actual Play With a Small Flow of Earnable Cosmetics Not tons — just 1–2 unique items per event or milestone. This keeps players motivated and reduces backlash over paid items. 3. Expand Event Currency Use If an item belongs to an event, let us buy it with event currency. Limit the earnable pool (so players can only earn enough for around 60–70% of the items), and they can choose to: manage their currency smartly or buy a small extra amount if they really want something But the key thing is: All event items and all event challenges need to be available on day one. Nobody wants to spend their hard-earned currency in Week 1 just to have a surprise batch of new clothing appear in Week 2 that they can’t afford anymore. That feels unfair and punishes early participation. Fair for players + EA still monetizes. 4. Make Re-Releases Price-Locked If an item returns, it should never cost more than it originally did. If it goes on sale, great — but raising prices just damages trust. 5. Optional “Brand Booths” Instead of Daily FOMO Rotations Replace daily shop-only items with: permanent brand booths in the city plus the existing Extravert shop for basics Rotating premium drops can still exist, but players shouldn’t feel forced to log in every day “just in case.” Closing Thought Players want to support the game — that’s not the issue. The issue is the lack of value, fairness, and stability in how items are priced. If items had more customization options (e.g., fully colorable shirts, adjustable sizes), then the current pricing would actually make sense. Paying 200–350 SVB for something you can personalize feels way more justified than paying the same for a static recolor. Give players: more flexibility more creative control more reasons to feel good about a purchase …and I’m convinced people would spend more, not less.Potential Map Ports/Tricks
Hello all, I'll ty to keep this short. I know it may require some reskinning, but would love if they ported over Skate 1, 2, and 3 maps, outside of San Van across the bridge. Industrial, scholastic, residential, rural, with big hills. I know that this may have been brought up already, but traction is key. Also, Tricks, dark catches please, including flat land caspers, primos, truck stands, pogos and the like. Basically more flat land technical tricks apart from manuals, reverts, no comply, fast plants.
Cosmetic Suggestion: Holiday Concepts
TL;DR: As the Christmas season wraps up, I wanted to share a few more holiday concepts that I created earlier in the month. These are all simple concepts that I would've loved to see this year. That said, there's always next year & more than anything I'm just genuinely happy to have a 'Skate' game in 2025. Boring Stuff: The deck is something I've been working on for my portfolio, but the "Candy Cane" textures were quick throwaways I shared in the Skate. Discord back in early November alongside the #skatetshirtcontest. All of these concepts are intentionally very simple and straight forward. They're simple retextures that I felt would fit naturally within the cosmetic direction we already see in-game. I know a lot of people were hoping for things like a "Santa Hat" or "Black and White Socks", but as someone who creates game content, I also understand planning, order of importance & available resources can shape what makes it and when. I'm also mindful that comparisons or concepts can impact expectations, which is why I'm sharing these post-event. My concepts are never meant as a complaint or a call-out. I'm just looking to contribute however I can and share ideas I think the community would be happy to see implemented. Add Ability to Replay Story Missions
I'd say this is fairly low on the list of priorities, but it seems weird that we're able to replay any of the challenges as many times as we want, but once you finish the story missions, they're just gone forever. I know most people aren't really interested in the story, but it almost feels like you guys aren't interested in it either, when I can't see those parts of the game anymore. Plus I kept accidentally skipping dialogue because I would forget that you don't have to press a button to continue, so I missed some of the story. It also makes the "Missions" menu feel pointless, as they already showed on the map and there are visual indicators in-game as well, but now that menu is completely empty. So, since I don't want the map to be even more cluttered than it already is, it would be great if we could just see the full list of missions and have them crossed off or have a check mark put next to them as they get completed. Then we could have it show on the map, if needed, when we select it for a replay. Or, at the absolute bare minimum, have an option to completely reset progress for the story missions. Let players keep everything else they've completed/unlocked like challenges, levels and clothing, but start over on the Isle of Grom. If nothing else, it'd be cool to see that place again with the knowledge gained from skating around San Vansterdam for a few dozen hours.Player gear in the shop.
I completely understand the concept around the micro transactions within the game shop. But as avid skate fans could we at-least have some decent merchandise? No one is interested in board stickers… it could do with Etnies / blind / world industries / element / spitfire / plan b / girl / chocolate / zero… the list is endless and the game does not include any of it?????
Invisible Players and private parties
You need to fix players becoming invisible (randomly or after completing challenges) asap! Players have been complaining on reddit for months now. People are starting to feel like you're not taking this serious. It ruins the coop funtionality. Also please add a button that lets you either reconnect to the current session or join another. If there already is one, please tell me where it is. I've been looking for so long now and couldn't find one. Also someone on reddit mentioned they've noticed that all the newcomers have their parties set to private. And when I looked into my settings it indeed was set to friends only by default, which doesn't make much sense, if you want to encourage people to play coop with strangers? Besides that I do enjoy my time in Skate! Great game, I've been getting lost in it for hours now!Map loop bug
I had entered the shop to open a crate,.when i exited i teleported back to my marker, as i did it. The narator ( V ), paused my character to talk. I am now stuck in a loop of being able to skip her talking then the map opening and instantly closing to her talking again. I am unable to do anything but skip her. Ive tried un installing and re installing the game, didnt wor. Turnning my PC off/ back on didnt work.Missing outfit
I logged in to Skate. and went to change my outfit from the wraith costume to the bone core shirt then checked my outfits and the only thing I spent real money on in this game was gone. I restarted my game and nothing changed. I still have my other 4 outfits. Just not the wraith costume. This is frustrating. Why the one thing I spent real money on? It’s not like the outfit itself cost money. Just the SAN van bucks. Should I report this as a bug? I’m on PC Side note: every time I start my game, when I join a server it loads with really bad video quality until I change the window mode from fullscreen to borderless fullscreen or vice versa. Changing between them makes no difference for what my screen looks like but it does fix the video quality.
PLEASE FIX EA GAMES CRASHING ON XBOX SERIES X
Both Battlefield 6 & Skate. have been unplayable due to them crashing my Xbox. No other games do it & other people have the same issue with EA games exclusively as well. I literally tore down my whole Xbox last night, redid the thermal paste & everything just to try & fix the problem. No luck, Skate. still crashes :( Extremely frustrating since I can play any other game just fine, like COD, Siege & Helldivers. Please listen to the other people complaining about thus across the internet & do something. It HAS to be some sort of bug in the code. It’s only games produced by EA. The game just freezes, goes to a glitch screen, then dashboards or restarts. I have an original Series X from just after launch date & really want to play these games but there’s no way I’m buying a new console to do so. I’ve tried every setting & trick in the book. Please don’t suggest anything, just fix the games.
