Windows 11/dx12 issues
Hello. I just upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10. Skate CPT always boots in dx12 now and is suddenly missing 119hz refresh rate option in settings. Fullscreen settings seem to lock my framerate/refresh rate at 50fps/50hz. Tried adding -dx11 to launch options but doesn't work. Would love a fix for these issues if possible. Thanks. Perhaps this is just an issue with Win11 rather than DirectX but not sure what's going on. Seems busted now.
No NPC interaction
I miss in skate 3 being able to run into pedestrians on my board, and even swing and hit them with/without the board. In the new skate, you can’t even crash into the NPCs, they will dive you no matter what. the riding feels great, I like the new map, but there is a lack of real story that makes the old games really interesting. I think they should bring back the old game modes for multiplayer too.Mission Progression Blocked
Hi, I’m currently participating in the pre-alpha playtest of Skate on PlayStation 5. I’ve encountered a progression-blocking issue: I had a mission in progress, and I believe I completed it (or triggered the final step). Now, that mission has disappeared entirely from the mission tab. Vee keeps prompting me to finish the current mission, but there is no mission shown or available to complete. As a result, all following missions remain locked, and I’m unable to continue progressing through the game. I’ve already tried restarting the game and revisiting different areas, but the issue persists. Platform: PlayStation 5 Skate Version: Pre-Alpha Let me know if you need any more details (logs, screenshots, etc.). Thanks for your help!Can't access the game
As per title, for some reason when I try to start the game I just get a white windowed screen with the skate cursor on it, however nothing loads up. If i try to close it with the regular cursor nothing happens and I have to force it closed via the task manager. I recently got my profile hacked but managed to recover it, I also reinstalled windows from scratch as a safety precaution. Please let me know if there is a way to fix it!
Glitches two
Ok so I found a glitch where you can do Superman onto floor and I launches you to space of THATS #1 #2 is way more important I know someone he has been trying to reach out to you guys and he has been stuck under the map in the beginning of the game at the mega park can you guys help and do something about that please his discord is nacbkny and username for the game is LeThaLxDoWnMy thoughts on Skate.
I am loving this game overall. So much more smooth than skate 3. The parkour element is awesome as well as the spread eagle sky diving. It is very fun to use those to get massive speed, pull out your board and land on a ramp. With that being said, I would like to be able to have better places to go on the map where you can hit huge ramps and land some where. There is awesome launch spots like at the church with the 3 ramps but there is no where to land and roll out. Skate 3 had the mega park and quarry to mess around and do crazy tricks with high air. I also wish you could spin faster. I miss doing 1080s like in skate 3. It is extremely difficult to even get a 720 or 900 spin now. Other than that I love this game!Is this game cooking anyone else's CPUs?
I like this game, it's fun. But today while playing my computer stopped working and when I put my hand over it the heat was crazy. Now I'm monitoring the temps of my components while I play and my cpu is jumping up by nearly 30c when I'm playing this game. I have a friend also playing who said his computer did something similar. I have an intel i7 10700kf so not the newest or best cpu by any means but this game doesn't seem like it should be pushing my computer like this. Has anyone else seen anything similar? I want to play this game but my computer doesn't seem to agree.Every gametext starts with "ID..." (PS5)
So, I been trying the playtesting since yesterday on PS5. The thing is, that every text shows "ID..." and something else, per example: when i start the game it shows 2 texts, one says "ID_START", the down below text shows "ID_CORE_GAME_RELEASESTATUS". where the objectives goes it says "ID_FTUE_QUEST BASIC", the interaction buttons shows "ID_HUD_DPAD_TAPHOLD" . the trick shows "ID_TRICK_BS", or "ID_TRICK_LINE". And this happens in every button or text that appears on screen (except for my PSN name, and the pre-aplha). So, as you may guess, i can't know what the missions are, but the game is intuitive to some point. Due that i can't publish images, i'm asking if anyone had this problem and did find a way to solve it? If this is relevant, at the first startup, the game crashed and closed (and still showed this gametexts), at the second start, the game did work fine, with all these gametexts. I tried uninstalling and installing again.Map growth
Hey all, I’ve been playing the Skate Playtest for a few weeks now, at first impression, I thought the map was trash, after playing a fair bit more I have grown to like it a lot more, I enjoy how it is laid out for street skating, and the Skate Parks are fun. However, While I do enjoy these spots, the game is missing a lot of elevation change, where one can bomb some hills (think drainage ditch, the quarry, mega park. I feel like Skate 3 had more flow to different sections than this current game does. It feels a little dis jointed and someone made the map themselves in a park editor. anyway; that’s my 2 cents. Also, is it just me or is it super hard to lip or board slide? I keep landing into tail slide.
Need Help getting a Recording!!
Hello! Im loving the playtest and have been playing locally w my friend all week but for any other testers I have one simple request, could someone please get a recording of the song "Most Normal American Voter:" by Genesis Owusu? Its in the "Do a Kickflip!" section of the soundtrack and I am unable to record on the computer I am using. If you can record this I would truly truly appreciate it as the song is unavailable anywhere else currently. Thank you!!!
