Hero Locking in HvV
And heroes versus villains there is a bug that will not allow you to pick the same hero in your forced to change into a different hero. It is mildly annoying and it's extremely ineffective to team play because you are forced to not play as the character that you are good at and you are forced into a new character that you may not have as much skill and or that is not affecting your team positively. If there is a way to fix this because we all know you guys still have access to the game files and all that can you guys please fix this.
Game Crashes on Dx12
Lately I cannot start the game after enabling Dx12. It used to work a while ago (maybe a couple months) but after coming back to the game it now just crashes after the initial splash screen. System specs: Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700K, 3400 Mhz Motherboard Z790 AORUS ELITE AX GPU Intel(R) Arc(TM) A770 Graphics GPU driver on latest version (32.0.101.8626). Any ideas to make this work on Dx12? I have a dump file too.Does anyone still play this?
It would be nice to have a third one by now i love star wars games like this either make another like this or open world with much customization… like your slacking on all this last time i played this kn xbox it was harder to find games 😩 been to long since last game u got the legendary bf6 now you cant say make a new star wars game bc essentially the gameplay and engines are alike and its amazing
FIX UPDATE: Ewok Hunt Extraction Bug (UK/EU Servers)
Hey everyone, If you’ve been stuck with the invisible extraction shuttle, detached cameras, or black screens at the end of Ewok Hunt, don't panic—it’s not your PC or your internet. > I just spent a long time with EA Support and managed to get this officially escalated to the Specialized Technical Team. They have confirmed this is a Server-Side Bug specifically affecting the UK/EU region. Key points: It affects the entire 20-player lobby at once. Troubleshooting (reinstalling, clearing cache) won't fix it because the error is in the EA server scripts. The report is now with the developers for investigation. Hopefully, we’ll see a server reset or a fix soon. Spread the word so people stop stressing over their hardware!Certain character selection causes game to crash
I purchased this game on 3/26/26 for my kids. They are having issues with the game crashing if they try to play as Kylo Ren, Darth Maul or Yoda. I am trying to report this to EA but they say I have to write it in here. There's no error code thrown, no message. It acts like it's going to load and then goes back to our XBOX home screen.Camera bug in Evok Hunt
Hi I recently changed PC and noticed that when I am playing Evok Hunt now every time the resque appears my camera glitches (depending on the map it either goes black or locks at a waterfall) sometimes the cutscene doesn't even load. I still can move bc I see the minimap and other stuff the camera is just locked or black. I tried changing my video settings but nothing worked, I use steam so I tried to inspect the files and everything was good. Any thing I can do or should I just wait and see if it fixes mayby?Maybe i can reach someone from EA,i hope
Basically, five years ago I picked up *Battlefront 2* from Epic Games during a giveaway, and I guess I just forgot about it—it was just sitting in my library. But now I’ve seen some gameplay footage and I’d really like to play it, but here’s the problem: when I click download, the EA app gives me an error saying I need to change my password or try restarting the game (I did change my password, by the way, but it didn’t help). So I’ve been going back and forth with tech support, hoping they’d help me out somehow so I could play normally, but unfortunately, no miracle happened. After a week or two of writing to tech support, I realized that I probably won’t be able to play the game at all. My problem is that five years ago, when I got the game, I linked my EA account to Epic using an email address that I no longer have access to. What’s more, that email address is lost forever and it’s simply impossible to recover it—I’ve tried and even reached out to Google’s Community Center. The bottom line is that to unlink it, I need to provide enough information for them to verify that it’s my account, but how can I be even partially sure that what I’m giving them is accurate if this happened five years ago? So now I have an account linked to me that I can’t access or unlink. I’ve also worn myself out, because when I wrote to tech support, the second person just wrote “please wait” and logged out, and I had to start all over again with a new person. And every single time I wrote to them, I always included all the information I had that they requested to verify that it was my account, and yet they still send me automated messages asking for all the info I’d already sent them. This has happened probably 10 times now; only two people in all that time were more or less normal and gave me at least some hope, while the rest just crushed it. Please, I beg you, help me solve this problem—I’m about to cry because nothing is working out.Can't play in this gameeee(
I have *Battlefront 2* on the Epic Games Store, and when I click “Play,” it redirects me to the EA app, where I get an error message saying I can only change my password or try restarting the app. I tried changing my password, but it didn’t help. I don’t know what to do next. Plus, I can’t link my account through the website—there’s simply no button to link it to Epic Games, and conversely, I can’t link the EA app to Epic Games. so I am subscribed to Xbox game pass ultimate, I'm on pc and I'm trying to download star wars battlefront 2, but it doesn't let me, when I open the EA app it only says available soon and under "you'll be able to download and play the game on" and it doesn't even say the date its been an issue for 3 months and my accounts are linked correctly because I can download other games like the battlefront 1 but not the 2nd one the download button is just greyed out and even on the Xbox app I cant download the game, I was hoping you would help me.
Hud disappears
I mainly had an issue outside the game, in the menu where things disappeared and I did not know where to click. It is now even worse. In game, my HUD, cards, and crosshair are disappearing, if I am lucky the hud returns for three seconds before vanishing again. I have written to EA many times about the issue in the game menu, but I have never received any solution or response. Perhaps someone who is not a developer could help me instead.
Connection issues
EDIT: I’ve continued investigating things from my end, and I think I’ve stumbled across what may be the issue. I noticed that my internet connection was a third the speed that it usually is; jiggling the Ethernet cable restored full speed. Every other time I’ve checked prior it’s been at normal speed, but after frequent checking following the first drop in speed I noticed one other time where the speed was dropped, and once again in that instance jiggling the cable resumed normal speed. I played yesterday on WiFi instead and did crash to menu once, but it was without error messages and everyone else in the match crashed back to menu as well. So I’m now suspecting my Ethernet port may have become damaged leading to the bulk of my issues. I didn’t previously pick up on it because no other applications/games had been affected for some reason, and I only caught the drop in speed by chance. And because the crashes started around the time of the update announcement and other people I knew were experiencing crashes too, a problem at the EA server end had become my primary suspicion. But maybe it was just unfortunate coincidence. I’m gonna keep playing via WiFi and see if the error messages continue; if they do I’ll provide another update, but I’m posting this now because I don’t want to keep wasting anyone’s time in the event that someone from EA is looking into it, and if it turns out that my Ethernet port was the problem then I deeply apologize for any time I’ve wasted. End edit ————————————————————————————— Ever since the server-side update several weeks ago I’ve been getting regularly kicked from lobbies (sometimes during the match and sometimes before the match has even started). I’ve been playing the game regularly since 2019 and have never experienced anything like this. In the past I may have been kicked a couple of times per year at most, but now it’s happening almost every day. I’m also more frequently experienced red bar connections. Often the kicks are accompanied by error messages but occasionally I just find myself kicked to menu screen with no apparent errors, but then a lost connection error will occur when I try to search again. There have been a number of error codes; I’ve attached all the ones I’ve seen recently. I made a picture demonstrating one of the flows of error messages I receive too, where I get error 672 and then when I click reconnect I get error 721. Nothing has changed with my setup, and I’ve tried every network and graphics related troubleshooting step that EA support suggested before they recommended again that I post here. I’ve also tried completely uninstalling battlefront 2 and the EA app and reinstalling both, and the issues still persist. I noticed that battlefront 2 had a big server outage last week and the connection instability has continued, so this seems to be an issue at the EA server end rather than an issue with my setup. To those at EA who work in this area, please look into this, as something has gone very wrong and being kicked from lobbies most days is a game breaking problem. This is occurring on PC and I’m playing via the EA app. Thank you.
Falsely Accused
I know I’m not the only one who has had this happen, which is why I decided to finally create this. I have been extremely disappointed with EA, and their lack of professionalism. my account for Battlefront 2, was banned a little over a year ago now. The claim was that I had cheated. I tried appealing it (knowing that I had not ever cheated, and don’t even know how to cheat). I’ve tried every avenue that I could find to try and appeal it, but always get same automated bull crap answer, “we have done an investigation, and you have been found cheating. We will not change our decision”…. Something along that line. I was finally able to find out the supposed reason I was being labeled as a cheater, and that was where I was reported to be using weapon”enhancements”. I’m sorry, but the only weapon enhancements I even know about are the in-game mods that you can equip, which everyone else has access to if they’ve unlocked them. I really wish a real person from EA would do an actual investigation, and not use an automated response to lie and say an investigation has been made. If a real investigation were done, then I should not be banned. I don’t know what kind of software EA uses to find irregularities, but may I dare suggest, that those are not infallible. They are made by man, which automatically deems them prone to mistakes, and irregularities of their own. People are not perfect, so if you’re suggesting that the software is unable to make a mistake, then that is making a major faulty conclusion that the creator/creators of it are incapable of mistakes. please do a real investigation, and find the real error. I can assure you that I never cheated, nor plan to cheat. I find it frustrating to play against people who do. There’s still plenty of them out there, I’m sure.
Galactic Assault's Broke
This new update or whatever happened there's a bug that makes it so each phase, all blaster units; special units and blaster heroes, sans jedi and vehicles, the camera locks up making your unit unplayable as it's stuck with not way to move, it's broke! Your mouse doesn't work and the only real recourse is to respawn, the game is broken due to this feature. Capturing teams lose 10-20 per phase and now even more recently the objective is broke, so you can't even capture. It's broke. The bug affecting players needs to be fixed, it still allows hacks and cheaters through so if it was a go at an anti hack, it failed miserably and should revert and EA needs to reset its servers due to the virus that infected it if not. It's Broke, Fix it EA, you're slow at support. It's been a week now at least and now it's to the point where you can't even spawn. It's Broke.
Unban all
To be honest the game is dead because of people who were banned due to mods knowing that these are cosmetic mods and not ones that modify the gameplay it would be really nice of you to unban everyone or at least a small part it has already been many years since the game came out I think everyone deserves a second chance I am mainly talking about people who got hacked not people who cheat with the intention of doing it thank you for understanding my request supporting it or not and passing it on
