Battlefront Progress WON'T Transfer from PS5 to PC
I recently switch from PS5 to PC. I linked my accounts to steam. My battlefield progress was there, However my Star Wars Battlefront 2 didn't link up properly and wants me to start over/new. What can i do to tix this? I want my PS5 progress to transfer over?
Battlefront II missing from EA & Epic
Hello all, after not having played Star Wars Battlefront II for a while, I decided to get back into it. I launched the EA app, and clicked the game icon in my library to launch it. Upon this, the Epic Games app opened, but the game was not in my library there. Nothing else happened. I checked to see if my EA and Epic accounts were still linked, wich they were. I decided to uninstall both apps and reinstall them. To my surprise, the game was now also missing from my EA app. I went to the EA help website and did see the game still marked with a red 'my game' indicator on the main screen. I reached out to the EA helpdesk where I was repeatedly told the game was marked as an Epic game for them, and that I had to get help from Epic instead. When I contacted them however, they told me they have no record of me owing the game and ask for a receipt. Both email addresses I have do not contain any emails showing a receipt or anything like that. I also do not remember through which channel I bought the game as it was years ago... I tried to unlink the EA and Epic accounts, and thought maybe when linking them again perhaps the game would reappear somewhere. Unfortunately I cannot link the two accounts anymore, for the simple reason that the linking apparently happens when I would launch the game in the Epic app. But the whole issue was it is missing there. I contacted EA again, who suggested to post on the forum as they had nothing left to offer. As the forum was down for maintenance for a few days, I am finally here to post. Surprisingly though, the game is now no longer showing on the main screen of my EA help webpage. Luckily I took a screenshot last week when it was still there (see attachment). Does anyone know what could be going wrong here? I don't know what to do anymore. But I am kinda surprised how all traces of me having owned and played this game, including online, now suddenly seem missing everywhere. How is that possible???
EA Anti Cheat is outdated.
There are many cheaters in the game, those who play openly and those who hide and play safely. Those who hide and play safely are the most cancerous because they usually declare themselves lords in the chat and play with the psychology of the players on the opposing team and mock their mental health. They say they are not cheaters and root all the settings in the software. Wallhack, Aimbot, Unusual damage, fast hits and many helpful things. Those who are openly cheaters are the most honorable because they accept their mistakes and never chat and do not deny that they are not cheaters because they are only those who join to win and ruin this game and inflate their ego. Banning them is not a solution because getting a second account is worth 2.5 dollars. Anti-Cheat does not work even for free software as far as I can see. In any case, we are tired of both types of cheats. I understand that if you cannot ban cheaters, you want us to turn to cheating. Am I understanding correctly, please prove me wrong. I am aware that many Community Managers are trying to maintain order here, but the tip of the iceberg is hidden in the game. Even your Youtubers are fed up with cheaters. Kripsy doesn't upload videos anymore, he doesn't play in HvV mode but in modded mode to have fun with his friends. The game has lost its identity. I don't know if this game that was abandoned to its fate needs to be revived, but if the servers continue to be open, these cheaters need to be banned. Either unplug the servers or the cheaters. Even the cheating has increased in size, yesterday in the game I saw 4 Han Solos in the same team. They are opening cheats as a clan. I don't want to say much. If you can't do anything, close the chat. I feel sick when I see their dirty, deceitful, lying sentences.Game disappeared from library - no help from EA or Epic Games
Hello all, after not having played Star Wars Battlefront II for a while, I decided to get back into it. I opened the EA app and clicked to launch the game from my library. Upon this, the Epic Games app opened. The game was not on that app though. The only EA and Epic accounts I own did appear to be linked when I went to the linked accounts in settings. I thought maybe there was a problem with the EA and/or Epic apps, so I uninstalled both and reinstalled them. To my surprise, SWBII was now also missing in my EA app games library. I went to the EA help website (https://help.ea.com/en/help-home/), only to see the game still marked by the red 'my games' indicator there. I reached out to both EA and Epic helpdesks. Basically, EA tells me that it is marked as an Epic game in their system, which supposedly means I bought it through Epic and therefore can only be helped by them. Epic on the other hand tells me they have no record of me ever having owned the game in the first place and ask for a receipt. I checked my two e-mail inboxes for any receipt of the purchase, and do not find anything. After trying many things the helpdesks suggested, they said: post it on the forum. But the forum was under maintenance for a few days, so I had to wait. Now I am even more surprised though, because the game is no longer marked as one of my games on the EA help website main screen. Luckily I took a screenshot last week when it was still there (see attachment). Does anyone have any idea how I could get this resolved or what could be the problem? It baffles me that there is no trace with either company of me owning (and having played this game for so many hours) even though it was (initially) in the EA app and appeared on the EA help page. I don't know what else to do now. Thank you.
Can't start Battlefront 2
I have Star Wars battlfront 2 in Epic Games. When i push the start button - my EA App appears, then closes and appears in +-5 seconds. But the game doesnt start. Clearing cache, reinstalling or repearing EA App, game, VC++, DirectX, and everything else. Nothing helped( Proccessor: AMD Ryzen 5 7500f RAM: DDR5 32GB GPU: GTX 1660 Super Motherboard: ASRock B650M Pro RS Platform: Windows 11
Can't Look or Aim in Game
There's a major glitch, I tried closing all programs, I ran both monitors, I changed resolutions, I reinstalled the game and the issue persists!!! I can't even play this game because the glitch is mouse/look related: 1: Sometimes the cursor doesn't even come up when the game is launched 2: Sometimes it does but you can't look past a certain point, like it blocks you after looking 10 degrees either left right up or down then it blocks you from looking any further 3: Sometimes you can finally look, but the cursor is always on top and it glitches the looking speed, it makes it feel like you're playing on 10fps.... EA FIX THIS $H1T!!!!
