What happened in your game today?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). Those were the days. 🥰 Facebook just reminded me of this sim. Hyacint Hornswoggle. I remember how enamoured I was with her and the little cottage I built for her in Brindleton Bay. She was a gardener, back when Seasons just had been released seven years ago, and before EA messed up all the gardening in the game. I still find her adorable. Do you have any sims you feel particularly nostalgic about?

Sul sul, Simmers. Townie Fashion Police was one of my favorite threads in the "old forum." It was always good for a few laughs. Z and I think it's time to bring it back, and so does our friend Daniel. When your festival attire is more outlandish than that of the cosplayer you're sitting with, that's a job for the Townie Fashion Police. "What did I do to deserve this?" Daniel asks the camera. Our team continues to investigate other community concerns for future fixes. Please note that some topics can be complicated to replicate and require an extended investigation on our end, so even though we are actively reviewing, it’s not a guarantee that we’ll have an immediate fix for it in the upcoming patch. September 2025: Base Game Update On September 18, PC and Mac players can expect a Base Game Update. We are pulling forward the release from its originally scheduled launch to allow additional time for us to quickly identify and address any potential issues that may take place across players’ various setups and game configurations. This also provides space for mod creators to update their content prior to the launch of the Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack. Before the game update, we will release the TDESC files in The Sims Discord for those who need time to support and maintain any mods or custom content. Console players will see this update on September 23 after it goes through additional verification. Since PC and Mac will be on a newer game version until the PlayStation & Xbox update on September 23, console players will need to use the PlayStation and Xbox filters in the Gallery until you receive the update. A World is often a reason for me to buy a pack. I'm not interested in Wedding Stories, but with the current sale I'm wondering what those of you with the pack think about Tartosa? I like to build, and a variety of Lots, and in nature, though I tend to prefer smaller lots and these are mostly 50x. Is there Fishing in the Neighbourhoods? Or other activity? What do you like or dislike about Tartosa? I genuinely don't think I would use the events or the CAS, I'm really just interested in the World.
