- yea...mine for me sometimes it lags like network lag and sometimes like fps drop and now it started to freeze and i have to restart it then it may or may not work

Hey @Viper8014 and @JSw33ney it sounds like you may be having issues with your connection. I would suggest taking a look at our Connection troubleshooting steps which you can find here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/
It'll take you a couple of minutes to do them all but please do take the time and do them all.
Let me know how you get on and if you want to share your UO Trace then I'm happy to take a look at how your data is being routed.

this is your response to everyone darko maybe just maybe the tons of players getting this problem has decent internet and its your update thats the problem?
with all respect but no no no no no no no.....a connection issue making the game freeze and not respond ????? ...like how ????

Hey @uJamBo when issues such as this appear we need to try an narrow down the cause. I tested the game just there and was able to play without issues. As such, if you are having issues with the connection then please try the steps I shared above and if they make no difference please share your UO Trace with us.
Darko EA the least useful here. maybe its the weather?

Your UO Trace is showing some incredibly high Ping times well before you get anywhere near the EA servers @ThanksALOTT.
I would suggest trying the connection troubleshooting steps I shared above and if the issue continues it's no harm speaking with your ISP and showing them the results of your UO Trace.
Darko Thanks for looking into it. I'm based in India and I'm trying to connect to US based EA servers in that UO trace so yeah my pings are naturally going to be high. @EA_Darko
@EA_Darko It would be helpful if you could share IPs of Asia servers located in Singapore. From the data centers list on Apex Legends homescreen, I can tell that I get lowest ping on Singapore servers (around 70-80ms). I will do another test on UO trace if you provide Singapore server IPs and share the results with you.

The IP addresses you can test with are all listed in the troubleshooting steps I listed above @ThanksALOTT.
Also, I just noticed that you only sent 2 packets, can you re-run the UO Trace and sent 100 packets.
Darko There are no IPs other than of US and Europe servers on the troubleshooting guide page you mentioned. I will do another test for 100 packets but please keep in mind that this issue came up only after the update! Lag is abysmally horrible due to high percentage of packet loss. There are numerous people complaining about this same issue after the update. @EA_Darko

I ran a UO Trace to the US from a similar distance as you @ThanksALOTT and my highest ping was 96ms. I do understand that distance can result in higher ping times but pings of over 200ms are very high even taking into consideration the distance.
Can you also try setting your mobile phone up as a hot spot and connect using that to see if the issue remains?
Darko @EA_Darko I don't think mobile phone hotspot connection would show any better results. I appreciate your suggestion but since when wireless connection started to fair better than ethernet based connection for gaming? Anyhow, if it helps in some way, I will try that and let you know the results.
I'm curious how you mimicked the distance between India and US servers for your UO trace test and if you took into account several hoops that my requests would go through before reaching US servers. Wouldn't all those contribute to high latency?

I am located a similar distance from the US servers as you are @ThanksALOTT. I ran the UO Trace from here and the highest Ping I saw was 96ms.
The reason I asked you to try with a hotspot is that a number of other users with this issue had no problem when connected to their phone when it was set as a hotspot. I am merely trying to ascertain if the same is for you.

here's my UO Trace ....but i never had ping issue or lag cuz of the network in the game before tbh
too many people having lag problems after this update. did not have problems before so are you going to do something about this?I keep seeing this red speed warning all the time in top right corner plus sometimes 2 other warnings!!! Game unplayable!!!

You need to poll the UO Trace @Viper8014 in order for it to contain the information we would need.
Would you mind rerunning it and then let it poll and send 100 packets?

I understand your frustration @Dandy_Crook but the number of reports we are seeing is quite small and as such, we need as much information as possible so that we can look into this.
If you are having the issue can you try the steps I linked above to see if they improve the issue for you?
Also, if you can, can you set your mobile phone up as a hotspot and connect using it to see if the issue affects you on that network?
The more info we have the better we can help.

I dont think its my internet problem… i have really good internet.. the game is just laggy, this was the same problem when this game came out... Slow motion and slow motion…

That's perfect @Viper8014.
So looking at the UO Trace you still have a number of hops with very high ping time but more worrying are the two hops on which you have 1% and 2% packet loss. Any packet loss other than 0% and 100% is cause for concern and can cause issues with connection. The best thing to do is go through the steps I shared above and if you continue to see the issues with % loss you may need to speak with your ISP.
Have you been able to set your phone as a hot spot and connect using it to see if the issue remains there?
Darko Ok with all respect to u darko..... so from what i see...u guys in the support office are just doing this ....copy and paste this message for everyone .....but i'm telling u ....the game is not responding in the task manager ....how can that be a network problem ...i may be dumb in some of the troubleshooting things ..but notwork wont make the game stop and freeze and lag (FPS LAG!!) and freeze ....network lags are very very known ......and if u will say that it's my pc performance issue in your next message ...then NO no and NO ....i've been playing this game since the release and that wasn't happening ....so face the fact that all of those problems happened after that update...
- also its not my ping problem ...i've played tons of online games and none of them were lagging or (freezing from the network like u said)
