Octane meta
A simple question, and I'm hoping for a simple answer. When will this game called "Octane Legends" end? After two nerfs, Wildcard is still unplayable because Octane is running around everywhere. How long will it take you to do something about this, because this mode has been unplayable since Octane's buff. I'm asking in the context of Wildcard - it's impossible to play this mode if half the players are Octane.
Anti-Cheat a step in the right direction but
I feel the recent and much needed acknowledgement that Cronus. Zims. Titans. All that good stuff is cheating is a step in the right direction but I feel a few issues with the bans that are taking place. Until we can come to terms with we're a free game and banning an account is a fresh email away from reoccurring we won't escape this loop of users cheating their way through games and potentially taking more time to then be banned again. Then see above. It's an endless unwinnable cycle. The community has called for hardware bans before I think it's certainly a right step now. This foot down on cheaters is the right move but unless steps are taken to them keep them out of the game they've ruined for so many for so long we will just end up dealing with the never ending cycle of being killed by level 10 wraiths with 4k badges. I think everyone can see you're pulling in the right direction and it's great to see but when will permanent action be put in place to stop the cycle? In addition I do have to say with this being a seemingly automated checking system will there also be actual people put in place to check so anyone falsely banned can have a real appeal process as I have seen a few people saying they're trying to dispute bans and getting stuck in a loop with automated responses and while I'm sure there are people in that group who where cheating I feel appeals should be taken seriously and not just dismissed if bans are coming from algerithmic means. Open to any and all comments on this. Just my thoughts process because if we're not doing hardware bans what's the other alternative? Charge for the game and drop battlepass ultimate?
Bot Royale Evolved
I am a bit dissapointed. Currently, this mode does not provide anything for new players to learn. Previously, one had the opportunity to experiment with different weapons and explore the map. Now, your team mates just wipe all bots and it's all over. Res and respawning team mates does not even apply anymore. I played a few rounds and the play time was even shorter then before. Might as well start with ring stage 2. What is the challenge here exactly? I would consider more of a challenge if all the bots would exclusively target me, rather then each other. As a matter of fact, please do (very hard option). Nevermind the (squad) bots running blindly toward the ring, even after respawning. At least it did provide a solo, no pressure gameplay for casuals like me. A "no fill" option would suffice. By the way, I can't imagine a ranked sweaty player playing Bot Royale to chill after a grind. Isn't there Mix Tape for? Show off your badges and kill count (to bots)? I know I would (Mix Tape, that is). I know that Respawn usually makes changes and adjustments shortly after the seasonal update, so I hope this will be among them. Due to being the anniversary season with Mythic Shards as reward (which I prefer, because then I can choose whitch one to select), got me a bit itching. But now, i don't know. Already been crushed by ASE Aquatica anniversary fiasco, so not eager for an another taste. Does anyone agree or am I not making any sense here?D4+ is like 80% cheaters
Are there any intentions of dealing with the cheaters in this game? Nearly everyone in d4+ are currently cheating. Blatant wall hacks without trying to hide it. I can provide 100's of clips in the past 2 days of this happening and invite anyone to spectate me for a few matches to witness this. I'm going to be uninstalling this game soon and finding something else with more integrity. The state of this game has become unplayable.Returning after a hot minute out.
Not sure how many seasons it's been since I been on here, but it's been at least a year if not more. Someone help get me back up to speed! I'm going to be rusty for sure, I'm having a little hop around the firing range. Had a little glimpse at changes to class benefits and Legend's skills. I'm in shock the RE45 has been changed to a charge up burst weapon --- wth?!?! That basically eliminates me returning to Ballistic anytime soon. What's a good go to gun(s) to run right now? thinking of grabbing a hemlok and maybe an SMG or a hemlok and something long range What's a good Legend to run with? --- I used to main Bloodhound, Ballistic, Lifeline, Vantage; I like players like Ash, Castle... you know what, I've used a lot of Legends over my time; but I favor being tricky, agile and able to attack hard. So yeah, if anyone can give me a good shout on a Legend/weaponset to run with, as well as any general gameplay tips for a returning player, it'd be much appreciated!
Linked Steam to wrong EA account
Not too long ago I purchased a skin on apex through steam but later on I was logged into the wrong ea account and accidently unlinked the account from steam, I didn't know which email was the account and I put the wrong email and now I have just found the correct email to the account, but the problem is my steam is connected to the wrong email that I used and I can't get access to it right now because the email i used is connected to my grandmothers phone and we have different timezones and shes mostly at work. I can show proof of me buying the skin, having both account credentials, both email credentials, basically everything to prove these accounts are mine I just cannot log into the account because it asks for a code to log in and I am no longer in the email. I can log into the email and ea account by tommorow but I still want to know will I be able to get the account unlinked and get the original ea account back linked to my steam.
Heartbroken, Help please!
Apex has been my fav game for a while now and i dedicated myself fully for it, ive been spending on so much on this game i have so many heirlooms , so many rare skins etc, im just a regular person with a K.D of 0.5 , im not a pro but im grinding my ladder everyday and dedicated to it. I had a major issue ; someone else was logged in on my account, i saw various changes on my account , my skins, badges and also ranked was changed, i immediately reported it to secure my account, the admin on ea help chat told me to reset all my passwords which i did, the hacker later on disconnected on my account. Now yesterday i tried to log in and i saw i was perm ban, i appeal my case and after 24hrs they replied and said the ban is justified , I AM the victim here, i feel they didnt check previous cases of me reported being hacked because im 100% sure this is where the issue is, the hacker played around 5-7 matches and he did some matches above 10 kills with high damages , im pretty sure he was hacking , i reported every single issue i had since i started playing this game and i feel EA is not giving enough consideration to its player base , i asked to check my IPs and when and why i was reported etc but nothing has been justified , please help me, i spent so much time and money on this game to be treated like this feel so unjust , my only hope is someone here with proper authority help me out, thanksregarding the boundaries of "game enhancement."
Hello everyone, I'm a new player who just started playing Apex at the end of February. Today I'd like to ask you alon regarding the boundaries of "game enhancement." Here's what happened: My friend and I (both complete newbies with a KD of around 0.2) used the Watt accrator due to unstable internet. Later, we heard that you could write "acceleration scripts" to make the connection smoother, so we used DeepSeek to write a simple script aimed at optimiwork latency. In our understanding, this was just like the accelerator itself—a tool to prevent lag. However, around the 10th match, during the final circle, permanently banned simultaneously. We submitted 10 appeals, and today we received a message stating "appeal limit reached," and the channel was closed. I would like to ask the vetn players: Is this kind of "acceleration script" considered a violation? We really thought it was just network optimization. Are there any friends who have had similar experiences? Is therny chance of redemption due to using the script out of ignorance? If not, how can I unlink my EA and Steam accounts? I just want to play other games in my Steam libra😥 [Title edit, EN only here please - CM]Bots in Ranked
Okay so just a quick question... Is there bots in Ranked ? Because I refuse to believe some players do the things they do. Player 40 damage in final circle, player standing in front of an open door no shield up after being downed not moving to cover, octane players pushing fights while being on one health ... Anyone?

This topic is for casual comp players ONLY. If you are not a casual comp player I'm not talking to you. Super casual Ranked players should be playing the game and enjoying the worst update ever. You won!!! Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳. Go knuckle cluster yourself around the map while eating popcorn🍿. Casual comp players, we lost. 😔 The devs don't want us to play competitively. Ranked is only for stacked teams. That's the only way to truly enjoy Ranked with the dropship setup. Basically, if we can't stack 100% of the time we can't play Ranked. It's "pure stupidity" because the reality of the situation is that MOST PLAYERS ARE SOLO QUEUING. So why not improve Ranked based on the FACTS????? We're not stupid. We had dropzones for two seasons and all comp players cheered. We can easily compare the pros and cons for the dropship vs dropzones debate. We can not and WILL NOT let half of the community and the devs manipulate us. DROPZONES ARE BETTER. PERIOD. IT'S NOT DEBATABLE. FACTS AREN'T DEBATABLE. I'm not playing this b.s. Ranked mode after having a better experience with dropzones. We played this way for far too long. It was always garbage, but it's all we knew. We had a far superior system and just threw it away. WTHelly!!! SMFH!!! 😠 😡 😤 Edit: I hope the game will continue to evolve and get better. Apex will always be fun to play. I'll be playing on the NS2 until the devs add casual-competitive game modes that require strategy.Ranked
Greetings. I've been trying to get into ranked again. I'm mid gold., nothing special and I am just so put off. Session today I lost 300 RP. Every sinigle game was -35 to -38 RP. And Zero kills. Nothing. Just frustrated. Mixed ability you get matched with. But it's not just the RP loss. It's the verbal abuse. Team mate goes in and does something stupid solo, *I* get tons of verbal abuse as I'm supposed to magically know what they are doing; no ping, no communication, nothing. Just abuse when they get mowed down by a squad of three solo. But it's my fault. I'm just so sick of it. I am just done with this. It's stressful, it's not ful losing 300 RP in a session due to this. I just don't see the joy or fun in this at all. It's an awful experience. Unless you have a regular group of mates to play with or just land on your own and your are comfortable just sayin ** to everyone else I just don't see how anyone bothers solo. Thank you for converting fuses tactical back to original. This ultimate still needs a good bit of work, either convert it back to the original or do something esle to it cause even after yall fix the ultimate again it’s still lack luster. His ultimate use to do a lot of damage and make them scared now 3 blast and it’s done barely any damage they just wait it out. His ultimate ain’t as good as his tacticals now. You could have made his old ultimate better just by simply adding silence to his ultimate like if they are trapped in the circle there abilities are froze for 3-5 secondsAccount ban
My account was inexplicably banned. I have been waiting for almost a month and submitted appeals twice, but EA hasn’t responded to me at all. As an ordinary player, I have played the game for nearly 800 hours; the account level was earned by me bit by bit. I reached almost level 400, and I also purchased several seasons of the battle pass and skins. I really don’t understand why I would be banned if my KD last season was only 0.8. I have not engaged in any cheating, and I have never logged into my account from an internet café or other locations. EA's cold handling of this situation is truly disheartening and disappointing! As an ordinary player, I don’t even have the proper appeal channels due to an incorrect linked email and can only appeal by paying. This is really distressing. I feel disappointed in EA and in this game, which seems to be deteriorating every day! If I had engaged in any cheating, my life would have been unfortunate starting this year.
