Gun glitch
I got this weird glitch where when I was scoped in with thermal, it would fire bullets without me actually shooting. I wouldn't have to press the trigger, reload, and the shots made no noise. I would just have to aim my scope at people, and it would tick them down. It would do it regardless of where they were, even if they were behind a building. It randomly started when I was scoping with my thermal and shooting it from a roof. It was pretty crazy, only worked for like 3 kills, then stopped working. I wish I had clipped it, but if I was able to randomly fall upon it someone is doing it who can replicate it. Hope it gets patched ASAP.
Battlefield 2042 PS5 Hazard Zone permanently stuck on “Discarded”
Hi EA/DICE team, I’m reporting a critical issue in Battlefield 2042 (PS5). Every time I try to load Hazard Zone, it gets stuck indefinitely on the Discarded map loading screen. This makes the entire mode completely unplayable. I’ve already tried all standard troubleshooting steps: Reinstalled the game Cleared PS5 cache and rebuilt database Changed DNS and NAT settings Tried different networks and even a different EA account The bug still happens 100% of the time, even on fresh accounts — meaning it’s almost certainly a server-side or corrupted session issue specific to Hazard Zone in this region. I purchased the game for $69, and it’s extremely frustrating that one of the core modes is broken without any official fix or acknowledgment. Please escalate this issue to the Battlefield 2042 live-service team and: Terminate all active sessions for my account Reset or clear any corrupted Hazard Zone data Investigate the backend server cache for the Discarded playlist on PS5 EU servers Thank you for your attention — I really hope this can be resolved soon. — A disappointed but loyal Battlefield player.Can't create an experience
When i go to the website to create an experience after creating an account, the website is glitched out and won't let me pick a game mode. When I try to manage I cant even put a name or a description nothings working.i cant seem to find any forms about this issue. If it matters im using a phone on Samsung internet app.Vehicle Pass Not Spawning
After completing a couple different missions for vehicle passes that are marked as a reward, they dont come? All i get is a box full of supplies then an empty one. I cant be a tanky boy without a take. Help me dice devs I beg 🙏playing on XBOX Series X Otherwise absolutely love the game even when I suck. No other issues other then minor bugs that im sure will get worked out over time. Yall are doing a good job dont let people's unwarranted hate get to you. You beat COD every time in my book. [Bug?] Sound of gunfire does not scale to range
There are times when I am shot with an AR from, say, 30+ meters away and the audio makes it sound as if the shooting happened right next to me. This is misleading and should be corrected. Not sure if it is the audio of the gun shot (so it needs range modifier) or the sound of bullets hitting me (so it needs less loud sound).Permanently Banned for Farming AI in Portal - No Way to Appeal
Subject: Urgent Appeal: Wrongful Permanent Ban & Unable to Submit Case - Battlefield 2042 Dear EA Help Team, I am writing to appeal a permanent ban on my account (WinterS771) in Battlefield 2042, which I believe was issued in error over a month ago. I am also unable to submit a formal case through EA Help, and I desperately need your assistance. Here is what happened: I was playing in a custom Portal mode, battling AI bots to efficiently unlock weapons and attachments. This is a mode officially provided by EA. After a few hours of gameplay, I was shocked to find my account permanently banned. I want to state unequivocally that I have never used any cheat software, exploits, or unauthorized tools. I was simply playing within the game's provided framework. My situation is particularly frustrating because I tried to appeal. I first submitted an appeal in Chinese but, worried about translation issues, I withdrew it to rewrite it in English. Upon withdrawal, my ban case completely disappeared from the EA Help system, along with any further option to appeal. Every attempt to submit a new case since then has been unsuccessful. As a legitimate player who has invested time and money into your game, this situation is incredibly disheartening. To be banned for playing an official game mode, and then to be stripped of any right to appeal, feels profoundly unfair. I humbly request that you: Manually review my case and the circumstances of my ban. Investigate whether this was an automated error related to XP gain in Portal modes. Restore my account, as the permanent ban is unjust. Thank you for your time and understanding. I eagerly await a resolution and the chance to return to the battlefield fairly. Tap/Hold X to give up glitch (make hold a tap also)
“PS5 Pro” user. In conquest and other large scale game modes, I have to hold X to give up after dying. But In Team Deathmatch and other CQB modes I have to just tap it. But a hold doesnt also count as a tap in this game so I’m constantly doing the wrong thing and it’s costing me time-back-to-battle and aggravating me. The “hold doesn’t count as a tap” affects many other actions as well since there’s no rhyme or reason when some action is a hold and others are a tap. Please just mage everything a tap or else make holding a button an immediate tap as well when that is needed.
Extreme Lagging leads to Disconnect/ Sent to TIMED OUT from inactivity screen.
Since the new update I just started experiencing major game breaking bugs. This is the worst. I'm in a match actively playing (continuous controller input) and randomly the game will begin to lag, objects in the world begin slowing down and floating, then I disconnect and am sent to the Timed Out from inactivity screen. I'm not able to play for more than 10 mins. I've closed and reopened the game on the Playstation menu. Turned the Playstation on and off. The Issue still occurs!!! I also get the black screen spawn beacon bug,HUD category in Settings + Minimap size
Anyone else experience this? Go to Settings / HUD Try to leave Settings page pressing ESC You are stuck on this screen unless you select a different settings category and the press ESC While in HUD, changing minimap size to Large and then trying to change again to other size - stuck. Minimap size seems too small now.VKB Gladiator NXT/EVO
I know this is an old thread, but- I tested my VKB Gladiator NXT/EVO first in Battlefield 6, then in 2042 after seeing they claimed to have “joystick support.” Two things popped up... Problem #1- The games wouldn’t see any button numbers higher than 17, so I remapped what I needed into 1–17 and turned the rest into keyboard keys. Problem #2- The real issue was the thumb mini-stick. When I first tested this out, I was still running my Star Citizen profile that I have used for a few years, which disabled the mini joystick and replaced it with a virtual mouse input. During this time the stick was recognized and worked just fine. The other night I reset everything back to factory, not realizing that the only reason the stick was actually working with Battlefield was due to how I had that mini joystick set up. Once the default axes were reassigned to the mini joystick (X Rotation / Y Rotation), the game started treating my VKB like an Xbox controller instead of a joystick. When I switched that mini-stick back to a virtual mouse inside VKB’s software (which removes X/Y Rotation), BF6 and 2042 immediately recognized the device as a normal joystick again. Took me a while to narrow it down, but this is the root cause for everyone who's had issues running higher end sticks on Battlefield these past few years. Basically for some reason the sticks of an Xbox controller and those two axes for joysticks share the same hardware ID profile. Doesn't matter if it's VKB, Virgil, JoyToKey, or VJoy- if either X Rotation and/or Y Rotation are enabled, it'll come up as an Xbox controller. So, how to fix: In VKB software, disable X Rotation and Y Rotation on the mini-stick and set it to act as a virtual mouse. Alternatively, z rotation causes no issues and can still be used, so if you wanted to instead remap the y-axis of that mini stick to Z Rot, you could. No third-party remappers needed; there are several YouTube videos and guides out there that show exactly how to remap buttons and set up VKB’s virtual mouse if you haven’t done it before. Or if you wanted to get a little more advanced, you could use v joy to create a virtual joystick and joystick gremlin to remap any and all of your BKB buttons to be what you want on that virtual stick. Just make sure when setting it up that you uncheck X Rotation and Y Rotation. I've confirmed that a virtual joystick created this way will not come up as an Xbox controller. Using this method, if you have HOSAS or HOTAS, you can also combine the inputs on both into one virtual joystick, if that's how you wanted to fly. If anyone ends up ever actually reading this and wants help setting any of this up, feel free to message me here or on Discord (Silversquirrel) and I'll happily jump on a call to walk you through it. I can confirm that using the VKBs to fly in both Battlefield titles is pretty epic.
missile and bullets not hitting targets
Fix your **bleep** game. Bullets flying through walls, missiles and bullets not hitting other people and choppers. whats going on? and you nerf the chopper. runner over opsticals and getting throwen up in the air. kill feed not working good enough. getting killed with no info at all. inviseble walls, people can lie on the ground and you are not able to hit them because of some detail on the map, debree and stuff.?Lis’s g-84 missile is bugged on solo/co-op game modes
Lis is my favorite specialist to use and I can only play solo games due to my bad internet but what really drags me down as a specialist for her is after a few times using the g-84 tgm the camera gets stuck to the ground and you won’t be able to see and guide the missile and redeploying won’t fix it either nor using another tgm what’s even worse is it carries over to a vechile where the camera will still be stuck to the ground and you won’t be able to see to drive the vechile/air vechile I’ve tried switching vechiles and redeploying but it still doesn’t fix it and I’ve tried switching to a different operator to see if it at least fixed the vechile issue but it doesn’t and it is still bugged if I switch to a different class and then switch back to lis to see if that fixed it but it doesn’t work the only fix I know is to leave and start a different game can this bug please be fixed or can someone give me a way to fix it without leaving the game?Sprinting Bug?
Hi! I‘m playing on the Xbox and I’m sprinting forward when moving my left stick forward. I usually play COD and used to this mechanic. That usually works fine 90% of the time. But somehow I’m getting a bug where I‘m not able to sprint, I’m stuck in a slow movement until I let go of the left stick, stand still for a moment and then I’m able to sprint again. I don’t recognize a pattern when it happens, it seems kind of random. Does anybody also have this issue? Is it a bug are maybe intentional?Game has a slow motion bug and auto connecting to servers across the world
Ive had the game for about 2 weeks now and its completely unplayable. Huge time nudge issues where it feels like im running in slow motion and after tons of research on the internet, at least for me, the issue appears to be that I'm auto connected to the Santiago Chile Server when I'm in the US. If I do US servers in customs, the game works fine, however its absolutely Absurd that I spent $70 on this game and am limited to a tiny portion of the game and am at the mercy of hopefully finding an actual lobby in custom servers. I see zero acknowledgement from EA anywhere about this issue and on X I see a bunch of posts from Battlefield pretending like there are no problems with the game anymore. I'm on the verge of returning the game due to this unless there is some sort of quick fix to this MASSIVE issue
