missile and bullets not hitting targets
Fix your **bleep** game. Bullets flying through walls, missiles and bullets not hitting other people and choppers. whats going on? and you nerf the chopper. runner over opsticals and getting throwen up in the air. kill feed not working good enough. getting killed with no info at all. inviseble walls, people can lie on the ground and you are not able to hit them because of some detail on the map, debree and stuff.?
Game has a slow motion bug and auto connecting to servers across the world
Ive had the game for about 2 weeks now and its completely unplayable. Huge time nudge issues where it feels like im running in slow motion and after tons of research on the internet, at least for me, the issue appears to be that I'm auto connected to the Santiago Chile Server when I'm in the US. If I do US servers in customs, the game works fine, however its absolutely Absurd that I spent $70 on this game and am limited to a tiny portion of the game and am at the mercy of hopefully finding an actual lobby in custom servers. I see zero acknowledgement from EA anywhere about this issue and on X I see a bunch of posts from Battlefield pretending like there are no problems with the game anymore. I'm on the verge of returning the game due to this unless there is some sort of quick fix to this MASSIVE issue

You cannot bann or kick people from your portal server, nor you can skip map, restart map, close server or anything that is basic and extremely necesary for managing a portal experience, i have at least 2 people i suspect cheating roaming free on my server and I THE ADMIN cannot do annything about it, fix it please.
Laser Designated Vehicle Damage Mission Not Advancing
I dealt multiple hits to enemy vehicles marked by a squadmate using the Laser Designator, with both the MBT-LAW and SLM-93A. The mission progress remains stuck at 0/1000. The targets were properly designated by a squad member, full lock-on was achieved before firing, and hit markers appeared. However, no mission progress was recorded. Restarting the game and reconnecting didn’t fix the issue.Some maps are partial or not available in portal - conquest custom
Some maps are partial or not available in portal - conquest custom. Can you please make it so that we can make our custom conquest with all maps and all sizes of those maps. Now we can only make custom conquests with some maps and only small and medium. The BMP-2 and M3A3 Bradley are not available in portal conquest custom. Please update portal to have all the maps and all the vehicles
Windows 11 Event Viewer flooding
I've just noticed my event viewer is flooded with the same warning message as follows File System Filter 'atc' (Version 10.0, 1995-09-14T08:03:21.000000000Z) vetoed bypass IO. Process: bf6.exe File: O:\Battlefield 6\Data\layout.toc Bypass IO Operation: FS_BPIO_OP_ENABLE Vetoing Reason: Not allowed for requesting application. Operation Status: {Access Denied} A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights. Is anyone else having this issue and whys it happening?
“connection timed out. Player removed from game.” Error on PC.
Other games like marvel rivals works fine. Seems to only be battlefield. Also, when I launch the game it’ll always say “No local saved data found” and when closing the game after the time out error it’ll say “couldnt save to cloud” or something like that. I just did a full windows reset and it still happens so it can’t be the computer and like I said, other games are working fine. can anyone chime in here and tell me what’s going on?
[FIXED] Battlefield 6 Save & Settings Issue — Windows Security Blocking Solved!
If your Battlefield 6 keeps resetting settings or won’t save progress, it could be Windows Security silently blocking the game’s files. What happened: Windows Security didn’t show any pop-ups until I launched the game. Loading the campaign triggered the alert, and that’s when I realized it was blocking access to save and config files — the game literally couldn’t touch its own files. How I fixed it: 1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history. 2. Look for any blocked Battlefield 6 files and click Allow on device. 3. To stop it from happening again, go to Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions. 4. Add your Battlefield 6 install folder as an exclusion (for example: C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6). After doing this, all game settings and save files worked perfectly. No more resets — it was just Windows Security silently blocking access. **Note:** Search your PC and make sure the following files exist and are not being blocked: * `PROFSAVE` * `PROSAVE_profile` * `steam_autocloud.vdf` These files are usually located in: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6\settings If any of these files are missing, Battlefield 6 may not be able to save or load your progress correctly. These files are required for Battlefield 6 to properly save your settings and progress. Also verify that **Windows Virus & Threat Protection** (especially **Real-time protection**) isn’t blocking or quarantining them — this can silently prevent the game from writing or updating your save data. ***Steps to Add Full Control for Battlefield 6 Settings Folder*** (This has also helped some users to resolve issue with save file) Navigate to the folder: Open File Explorer and go to: C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Battlefield 6 (or wherever your Battlefield 6 folder is located) Open Properties: Right-click the Battlefield 6 folder → select Properties. Open Security Settings: Click the Security tab at the top. Edit Permissions: Click Edit… to change permissions. Select Your User: In the list under “Group or user names,” select your Windows user account. If your user isn’t listed, click Add…, type your username, and click Check Names → OK. Grant Full Control: Under “Permissions for [YourUser],” check Full control → click Apply → OK. Propagate Permissions: When prompted, choose Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files → click OK. Close Properties: Click OK to close all dialogs.

Olá Estou escrevendo para relatar dois problemas persistentes e significativos que estão afetando severamente a experiência de jogo no Battlefield 2042 para mim e para muitos outros jogadores. Compilação de shaders no jogo causando gagueira e quedas de FPS Atualmente, o jogo compila shaders dinamicamente durante as partidas, mapa por mapa. Esse processo ocorre não apenas durante o lançamento inicial, mas também ao encontrar novos recursos e efeitos no meio do jogo. Isso resulta em gagueira consistente, quedas na taxa de quadros e atraso de entrada em momentos críticos, fazendo com que o jogo pareça sem resposta e instável. Solução sugerida: Implemente uma etapa de pré-compilação de shader única e obrigatória que seja executada inteiramente na tela inicial ou no menu principal do jogo. Muitos outros jogos modernos (por exemplo, Call of Duty, Horizon Zero Dawn) usam esse sistema. Ele permite que os jogadores esperem por uma compilação completa antes de entrar em uma partida, garantindo uma taxa de quadros suave e consistente a partir do momento em que a rodada começa. Steam Input Gyro, works in menus, not in game!
Settings: Using a Dualshock 4 controller. As Mouse Gyro. Joystick Mouse. All controls bound to Keyboard and Mouse inputs. Gyro is always on, as stated in title, gyro very smooth whilst in menus bu the in game, all over the place. PATCH NEEDED ASAP PLEASE DICEBattlefield 6 & 2042 Video and Audio Stuttering
I've had this issue starting with Battlefield 2042 and it seems to be happening in 6 now as well. Every 30 seconds or so for about 2-3 seconds, my screen will freeze / stutter and the audio will tear as well. With 2042, I assumed it was just an issue with the game itself or the EA launcher but with 6 on Steam I'm at a loss. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to alleviate the issue. PC Specs: CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X GPU: RTX 3070ti RAM: 32 GBs 3200 MT/s OS: Windows 11 I have friends running the game on less powerful hardware and I seem to be the only one with any issues. I've tried a few suggestions found on this forum but nothing has worked so far. has anyone else ever had this issue with either game? For reference, I've played all the other Battlefields on this PC without issue.Battle field 6
Why did they cancel the basic edition when the game came out I couldn’t buy it on Xbox. I had to buy the 100 dollar version with a bunch of **bleep** I didn’t want. Just release the basic version so I can play the **bleep** game what the hell. I’m pissed I’ve been waiting to play this game and supporting it. But 100 dollars is ridiculous for a game in 2025 especially when there are so many good free to plays. Really disappointed with ea for this.
