deleting or unlinking a disabled account
My PS5 is linked to a disabled account. I created a new account and tried to link it to my PS5, but I am unable to do so. I have no idea what the email was or what the login information is for the disabled account. How do I delete it or unlink it from my PS5? I have spent at least an hour now fumbling through the EA help menu. I hit contact us and tried to create a ticket, but it won't submit either. This customer service is not very user-friendly and is quite aggravating. Please, can a person reach out to me to help me? I am not able to play and save any data on EA games, and I am getting to the point where I am considering canceling my Battlefield 6 preorder and just giving up on playing any other EA game ever again.16Views0likes1CommentLast Exception error

I recently got games pass and need to link my xbox account to my current EA account. The problem is when I try to do this EA tells me the xbox account is already linked to an "to your EA Account for 0f*****@disabled.ea.com". So how am I suppose to unlink it from that account if it is disabled and can't be signed into? I have tried multiple support tickets and they have all been closed with no replies or resolutions from support. I also cannot seem to open a chat - always seeing a screen saying advisors dont support this issue. So as it stands, my xbox account cannot be used with EA as it is linked to another EA account that doesn't exist. I have contacted EA help, additionally they informed me to post ban appeal on the EA forums by new EA account, thereafter they will unban the EA account. Please unban the account. The EA account did nothing mistaken, misguided and illegal. The EA account just shared feedback, opinion, thoughts and conviction regarding the video games that the EA account purchased&played on video game forums of EA. The ban/judgement was a mistake. I have discovered what appears to be a systemic and egregious error in the automated service to verify newly created accounts. It appears that many, if not all, newly created EA Accounts are receiving a permanent ban approximately a week after creation while committing no violation or action which would warrant such an extreme response. This appears to be impacting customers in all regions, platforms and situations. Some background on my exact situation. I created a new EA Account (not this one) on June 30th, 2025 with the intention of accessing the web-based services for an EA mobile game I have been playing for many years. Account creation worked fine and over the course of the next week I accessed this web-based store once daily to shop. Interacting with no other players, requesting no additional services, and committing no untoward actions. Exactly one week later, on July 7th, 2025, I received an email notification stating that account had been permanently banned for repeated violations of the Terms of Service. You can see on the attached history that no violations had been reported. Additionally, once an account has been moved into this status, customer support at EA.Help are no longer able to provide assistance as this situation can only be resolved via the Claims Appeal process to the Terms of Service team. Unfortunately, again, submitted appeals for accounts in this situation appear to be automatically denied by the same AI management vetting service which caused the initial problem. From the patron side, this creates an unresolvable situation as it is far too difficult to communicate with a live customer service representative. Patrons are left with no recourse other than giving up and abandoning any participation or engagement with EA Services. A spotlight needs to be shined on this situation entirely. A brief google search or online forum review will identify dozens upon dozens patrons reporting this exact issue. If other online communication trends are consistent, that means that these reports are a mere faction (<1%) of the actual instances of this incorrect automated response being forced upon customers who are operating appropriately with the EA ecosystem.Solvedjrodfantastic2 hours agoNew Traveler16Views0likes1Commentfactor authentication

I have seen this somewhere but there has been no real fix as the people that reported it had a different issue. I dont have a problem accessing my EA account, I have never changed email address but it seems like after some research EA just likes to scramble the IDs if the accounts aren't in used for a while? And that is what is being used in all the games. Also kicker is if i look at my linked account, it has zero problem seeing my steam account using the same name, or under my game personas (in the edit account page), it can see all my other EA games using the same name. only difference is battlefield where it also had my old clan tag. In my EA app, my nickname is set to my ID. If i login to my account and try to edit the ID to match the nickname it tells me that is is already in use. Haven't played on Xbox in quite a while. When I start up Apex Legends, it tells me that I need to reset my EA password. However, it tells me that the email that is linked to my Xbox account is ******@disabled.ea.com. When I try to log in to EA using the Xbox login, it asks for my email and none of the emails that I have ever used work. I'm assuming this is because the linked EA account ends in @disabled.ea.com. If you unfortunately had a steam account with games from EA and then it has got ban on it. one EA is not going to unban I have read 132 cases on steam and reddit another 150+ cases there this not scientific so yes there could crossover. unfortunately I did not read many accounts having the ban removed. The only ones that did get was it was automatic email sent when the Hijacker changed the email and EA sent email to original Email address. Two things happens when steam account is hijacked one when the hijacker changes the EA app email this does not always sends a automatically email to the original email address. If this has happened to you then I'm sorry more likely you will not be able get the ban lifted. Stop here you have your answer. The other thing is Steam is going to report you account as being hijacked and no they will not inform EA if you recover your account. So you want is ask EA to unban your account for the action of someone else. the first Hurdle set up Email that can log in to EA help since your EA app once linked to steam account uses your Email that means your Email is banned. Once you have another email to talk to anyone about your EA account ban.Side note you have already violated Rules of EA this can get you once more banned {yeah I know that sounds silly just go read it your self}. No I do not think they will actually enforce that, yet its in there crazy as that sounds I know. I hope you now see how hopeless this is by now it gets even worse then this. Next is convincing a EA help person to actually read what your wrote down. DO NOT START with any mention of ban. I repeat do not mention of banned account. apparently EA employees are unaware how to ask for ban to be lifted. They just spam a link over and over and well not read anything you have texted. What EA help people do not understand is it's not just your account that has been banned it is also your email address that has been banned. Meaning you can not use there links for help since your Email address is also banned you can not log in with. Since you can not log with a banned Email then you can not access the link to request you ban to be lifted. To convince a EA help person to help you I recommend screen shot the log failure on there website as proof that your Email is ALSO banned. Once that EA help person knows that your email is banned AND you need it to log to EA help website so you can use the Link to beg to have you ban removed. Ok now if that EA help person talks to there people THEY MIGHT LIFT you ban on your email. They have only done this once for me and took 7 times. I tired another two more times after the judgment came back as EA is not going to lift the banned account top of that they once more banned the Email address again. NOTE the people at EA that can remove you ban most likely not going to help you according to two EA Help personal texted me. Lastly as strange as this might sound EA rules state asking people for help at EA help can get you banned HOLD I that sounds nuts but it is what states yeah I know that sound crazy. I bring this all up because of all the steam accounts that where banned because some stole a steam account. IF I had not read so many I would not make this post in the first place. I Completely understand if this post gets deleted by EA. That my Secondary account gets banned. I have tried to log in to my account using my ID but cannot find the password. And when I try to reset it the password wants to go to an OLD email that has not been in use for YEARS. Trying to get help from EA itself is useless as they simply refer you back to the same pages for resetting passwords. I tried that ‘chat’ but it has wait times of over 4 hours and they apparently expect you to WAIT at your computer for all that time if you want help. Trying to get help through the email provided by the site was also useless as it simply prompts them to open a chat window, and if you haven’t responded because you can’t wait upwards of 4 hours for them to respond, they close the chat.
