Here we are again...
So, here we are again. Me having no recourse but to register my disgust with the latest "Our Players are just bags of money we need to punch hard enough to force them to cough up the goods" move from EA. Now, i have said it before, but it bares repeating, because i do understand the need for the games creators to make money. "I have no problem with you making new game modes and locking them behind paywalls, that doesn't take away from the free-to-play experience, but adds more to the paid experience. That's fair. People who pay more towards the game SHOULD get more than those who don't. But it does really grind my gears when a game dev deliberately makes an update to the game to actively lock a previously free-to-play mechanic behind a pay-wall." This time, it's actually 2 things at the same time. I will say, i have no problem with the new character unlock system and Colosseum. Again, it's an example of "Not taking away from the current game, while actively incentivising them people to pay for the new stuff." I mean, i'm sure that people are annoyed that they can't use new characters the way they could before, but at the same time, this is brand new characters that they couldn't use before anyway. But the incentivisation's aren't only in this system and that's where the problem lies. I actually used to very much enjoy the Weekly Challenges. They were fun and i was sad to see them go. But i am very annoyed to see them having been revived and locked behind the pay-wall that is the new characters. Now, that wouldn't be so bad, if you didn't tie the Chapter Awards into having to beat them, which you can't do without spending real money on either the brand new currency, or buying the episode pass. Now, when it was just 1 chapter award, i was a bit annoyed... Now that it's 2 different chapter awards that i've been locked out of, because i don't have enough disposable income to throw at this game, that's really got my hackles up. I suspect that this will mean nothing to the Devs, as player feedback usually tends to get filed straight into the Recycling, but all i ask is that, at least for the episodes going forward, can you either A) Make the first three Era Challenges of them actually beatable with Rank 15 characters (Because the game is pretty much hard coded to prevent you going above that without paying real money.) Or B) Don't lock the Episode Quest Chapter Awards behind beating 3 challenges. Especially don't lock 2 different Episode Quest Chapter Awards behind beating the 3 challenges that Free-To-Play players can never hope to defeat. Pretty much, don't just go "Hey, guys, you know the chapter awards we used to give you can absolutely fully complete if you played the game at least an hour a day. Well, now if you want a chance at that, then you will have to start paying us, you tightwads." I don't believe in getting loud and angry and nasty, so i have laid out my complaint and given a perfectly reasonable solution. In the meantime, i will be witholding my semi-regular payments to the game, because i suspect that money is the only thing EA will listen to.Omega-Darth Vader Timeout Team
Hi everybody! So guess what, a particular member of my squad arena used this team today and you can't defeat the team. Omega goes into capture, barely gains TM, so she sits there for 5 minutes doing nothing. Meanwhile, Darth Vader doesn't die due to his L9 DC and because she's still around "technically." Here we have a mechanics abusing timeout team that CG should've asked the their beta testers to check before they put it in game and now it's being used and abused. Since it's only three members, I'm guessing this person will be using the same team in GAC, whether on offense or defense to abuse this silly mechanic to prevent clearing a team or to get through a GL. (He beat my SLKR team with this three member team.) Hey MAW? This is one of yours and been around for quite a while too. I blanked out the name, but I'm gonna guess this team gets used by the same person in GAC, TW, etc. Even going into auto basic and turning it off to keep vader stunned, then back on again, doesn't get omega to take a turn, so you timeout. At the least put an exception in for a character in captive so Vader can be defeated.Bad batch/vader/dc interaction
Thanks to scrybe who unfortunately before gac made a video about this, you’ve made a team/dc unbeatable in gac. The Vader datacron which means he can’t die until the others die means people can exploit new bad batch omega lead with a random ally able to not be beaten. On first attempt you can kill the random ally, but after that no one can be killed due to captive not counting as a death. After that you can’t 2 shot it because captive needs a bad batch ally to take turns to reduce the captive stacks. This makes gac pointless. Can you please hot fix this (I’d suggest changing omega lead unique to “if all allies are bad batch” if you don’t want to change the datacronCG, please think seriously about currency creep
Unless I've missed something, I believe this is the third time in recent months that you've gotten confused by your own currencies. So please give these question some serious thought: If you get confused by all these new currencies, what makes you think players won't? How many currencies are there in the game now? I feel confident it's over a dozen. Two dozen now?(Someone, feel free to reply if you've counted them all.) Do you think it's healthy for the game if an experienced player can't remember how many currencies there are?Territory Battles Unfair Advantages
Am I the only one who gets extremely livid when I can’t even finish a mission and you have all the right Relic requirements and the enemy just seem to steam roll anything other than a Relic 10???!!! I can’t count how many times I wanna throw my phone against the wall because of unfair game advantages. Does EA even check their material before releasing? I find it incredibly stupid on the Young Lando Mission where that mission’s version of Iden is God and the games playable Iden throws napkins. I find this content really frustrating and the only game mode that I find fun and it’s becoming less and less fun. I would like my voice to be heard and I’m sure others are having this issue at least once. This game deserves more attention before releasing more content that the game community dislikes and even disagree with yet EA doesn’t care about our opinions. I wanna play this game and enjoy it, lately it has become unfair and greedy if these actions continue you can be sure that more new coming players will find other games that are more compassionate such as Marvel Strike Force. I did started playing right at launch and I'm open to all points of view and criticism; however, the new ERA system is a different style of gameplay within the current one, which has remained the same; anyone who plays many games can understand this; it will take more time to evolve and follows a different dynamic; the lag problems and everything else are being resolved and are part of any update; we just have to remember that some love the first generation more, others younger people identify with the new films and characters; others older with the expanded universe; the new game system is part of this; it's something new that will please some more than others, but we all love Star Wars and weakening the whole thing by only looking at one part will always harm new fans who identify with something that isn't what you believe to be the best; I hope we can learn to love what is new and especially respect it because we all win with this decision; may the force be with you us.Make Good on the Make Good?
We were all given 5000 Episode Shipment Currency instead of 5000 Era Currency. So just make sure this post or some other stays relevant long enough for CG or a YouTuber to notice. Hopefully they will correct their mistake. I think they genuinely meant to give us the Era Currency due to all the leaderboard weirdness and people not receiving their rewards at certain ranks.Era Challenge Rewards don't daily refresh???
Are you joking? why did i just whale hundreds of $$ just to only get the rewards for the IG-90 event one time!!?? All of the other ones refreshed daily. this is yet again a new level of failure to communicate transparently with the playerbase. I promise you i will never spend another dime on this BS era system again.Bro CG
Tbh I’m not even mad, this is honestly hilarious. The free stuff is great and honestly does make up a lot for a lot of the errors so like I’m thankful but bro….. an error in the make right for all the errors. I’m sure we will get the era currency as promised eventually but bro is all I gotta say.
CG Can’t Even Get a Compensation Reward Right…
Yesterday, it was stated that we would be getting a bunch of free items as compensation for the horrible 10-year anniversary update, which is all great. However, one of the things that we were supposed to get was 5,000 Era Currency (different from the Era Level Currency) that we could theoretically use to buy another LST. This is specifically stated as one of the rewards in the forum post they made yesterday. However, after logging in to claim the rewards, the Era Currency is nowhere to be found. Either CG messed up after already messing up, or they straight out lied to us. Either way, they are showing just how incompetent they really are. Nice of CG to raise hopes of getting some Era currency seen as pay outs have been so low. Instead I get the compensation inbox and to my disappointment ive ended up with Epsiode currency instead of Era currency. Nice way to mess up your apology by messing up. I would like my Era currency so I can purchase a lightspeed token Double rewards for another frustrating **bleep** upMy Account got radomly banned, any ideas to help?
So on the 9th of December I tried to log into my Account but was greeted by a message stating my Account had been banned due to repeated offenses. Now there’s just a few things weird about that. First of all “repeated” i have never before received a suspension or warning of any kind about committing on offensive so even if i did something wrong I shouldn’t have been instantly perma-banned no? Secondly I have not received any kind of explanation for the ban. The bot you can talk to after being banned said i should have received an email on my linked email-address listing my offenses… which I simply didn’t. Even after reading the Code of Conduct I don’t see any issues in anything i did but besides creating a ticket that could take up to 10 days to get a response too i can’t find any other ways of getting help or Information as apparently having a callable customer service is a bit too hard for EA or they didn’t manage to put the number on any website. If you have any ideas what i can do or why I might have been banned in the first place please let me know.IMPUT PLEASE, Community milestone event for the stranger
Please I keep hearing everyone say they got their stranger shards already, even the majority of my guild. I’m trying to get this figured out before conquest because I have not gotten them yet. EA help has been a joke and no one is talking about it anymore. Have you gotten your shards yet??? If not please comment and like so maybe meathead sees this.Events are lies!!
I am so over the events saying all you need is this and you can beat the level. You guys are such lairs and falsely advertise the BS all over your game for people to believe and blow their money so they can be disappointed when they can’t beat the event. You guys suck at developing stuff the right way.
Synergy in Challenge Tier
Hey all, Anyone else notice Luke now only has a leader and rebel faction tag. There is no synergy in the challenge tier between Luke and IG-90. Luke uses his Where Could He Be skill, and IG-90 stands there like a lump. Short for a Stormtrooper also does nothing for IG-90. Was this by design. I thought the entire era, all the new toons were supposed to have all tags so they worked together?
