Jedi Survivor(Steam) EA launcher fails
I have talked to many online agents, ive been shuffled to higher ups on multiple levels. I have been troubleshoooting this error for over 6 days now, 3 days with the help of EA online chat. and we cannot find a solution to this game. I have played on this PC over 100 hours in the game. New game plus'd the game and now i cannot launch it. I have tried many different suggestions from the EA team to troubleshoot. Nothing worked. i was told at first it was a license refresh that was needed and to wait for a unspecified time. i waited 3 days, every day i would go through the trouble shooting methods until the third day, which is today where i said this became unacceptable. Ive done IPconfig resets. that worked kind of. It launched the game, and it went through the Main credit logos. Respawn Electronic Arts Lucus Films and the It says the TItle "Jedi Survivor". The game proceeds to go dark and then go into an infinite loading loop on screen. i waited 15 minutes. no idications for shadows or any other graphical adjustment. just spinning lines drawing over and over. i finally checked task manager and the app said it wasnt responding. so i closed the task. I then launched the game again and waited for the game to launch and load. i had task managewr open. and when it hit that same laoding screen. task manager said the app wasnt responding. i ended the task again. I then verified the files on steam (Probably the 5th time i did that in 6 days redownloaded the game 3 times ): ) When i tried to open the game again. it didn't launch. i got the same error message that i got 6 days ago. I am lost. The EA online helper guy told me to fill this out. I'd like to play my game :(Help! Game breaking: Trying to confront Dagan at koboh observatory
I get to the area in foggy expanse or fogged expanse I forget where it’s all fiery and you got the dart ability from the fallen ship, I’m trying to get to Dagan and the platform I need to grapple up to that’s above where the ship was isn’t there. The ship is gone, there’s no metal plate on the ground where the grapple point isn’t… I can’t progress and I wanted to play for the next five hours :( I’ve reset the game multiple times, nothing.Game locked while defending the hanger. Force slam not working
While playing as Cere I get to the point where I need to use force slam to collapse the hanger ceiling. I see a red "NO" symbol and it will not trigger. I have tried all different ways to reboot, clear cache, power down restart and so on. I have played through the game 4 times already with no issues.Jedi Survivor Crashing on Startup
Started playing the game this morning for the first time on PC. Played for around ~90 minutes or so, then took a short lunch. On relaunching the game, it now crashes as soon as the title logo appears. I've tried repairing files, the app, reinstalling the whole game, verifying file integrity, launching at a lower resolution, turning off any and all overlays/overclocking applications, etc. Nothing has worked. The crash is typically (but not always) in the form of an Unreal engine error. Launch Error
I purchased the game on May 1st, 2026, and it was working perfectly for the first few days. However, since yesterday, I have been unable to open the game. The Problem: Whenever I try to launch the game via Steam, an error message pops up stating: "您的遊戲設定有問題。請重新安裝您的遊戲" (There is a problem with your game setup. Please reinstall your game.) My System Specifications: Device: ASUS Zenbook (Copilot+ PC) Processor: Snapdragon X Elite (ARM Architecture) GPU: Qualcomm(R) Adreno(TM) X1-45 GPU OS: Windows 11 Home (Version 26200.8328 Preview) Steps I have already tried: Reinstalled the game completely. Verified the integrity of game files on Steam. Cleared the EA App cache using the "App Recovery" tool. Set the game's GPU preference to "High Performance" in Windows settings. Checked for the Respawn folder in Documents (folder was missing). Since the game was running fine a few days ago, I suspect a compatibility issue between the recent Windows Preview Update (KB5083631) and the EA App's translation layer on ARM. Could you please investigate this?
Progress blocking bug at Observatory Understructure
There is a part in the story mission where you have to shoot an electric dart using BD visor. Then navigate around the structure to shoot Koboh matter to burn an obstacle. The problem is that the BD visor won't switch from electric dart to Koboh matter. I have tried closing the game and opening it again, verifying the files on Steam, and some other in-game methods to fix this problem. Nothing has worked yet. If anybody else has faced this issue, I would appreciate the help.
Game breaking bug at "rescue Zee from Lucrehulk" mission
I am currently 47% into the story and have encountered a permanent progression-breaking bug in the Lucrehulk (Yurt Barracks) on Koboh. This is my third attempt at the game after hitting different bugs in previous runs, and I am officially stuck. The Location: Immediately after the sequence where Cal and Bode split up due to a white laser shield. Cal enters a dark area. If you walk through that you supposed to trigger three droids to fly towards a round gate. That doesn't happen. If I jump towards the round gate some kind of music plays but nothing happens. Because the encounter never starts, the progression remains locked. The path backward is physically blocked by level design/shields, leaving Cal trapped in a narrow playable map. What I have already tried (NONE of these worked): Dying/Falling into pits: Respawns me in the same bugged place. Quitting to Title Screen/Closing App: Reloads the local checkpoint inside the bugged zone, NOT the last Meditation Point. Clearing PS5 Cache & Rebuilding Database: No change. Full Reinstall: I have reinstalled the game twice; the issue persists in the save data. Difficulty Toggling: Switched between Story and Grandmaster to force a script refresh; no effect. Backtracking: Walked back to the split-point shield to try and "re-trigger", nothing. Note to Devs/Community: There is no "Respawn" button in the Gameplay menu for PS5 and PS5 pro to force a teleport to a Meditation Point. Activity Cards are not offering a teleport option in my case. My save is effectively "poisoned" because the checkpoint is inside the broken script zone. Has anyone found a way to "nudge" the physics engine or force a map reload on console when trapped like this?Cannot jump off the rail
Help me please with either a bug or a mistake I am doing in a game. I cannot jump off a rail. I can only move ahead or back. Any other action button on my PS5 controller do not respond when Cal hanging on it. Though, until I get to that rail all is working well in a game. Problem with Star Wars Jedi: survivor
Hello, i just bought this game from epic games, and the game just dont start, i didnt get any error, i tried everithing on EA forums, even EA agent cant help me, windows ubdate, reinstal game, reinstal graphic drivers, safe boot and other things, none of it work, i dont know if i should do refund or what, i just wanna play this game, i really enjoy fallen order, but when i finnaly catch good price and bought it and dowload it, the EA just dont work.
EA AntiCheat Not Installing / Jedi Survivor
I am experiencing an issue where EA AntiCheat is not installed at all for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which prevents the game from launching. The EAAntiCheat folder (C:\Program Files\EA\AC) is not created or remains empty. When I run the AntiCheat installer manually, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor does not appear in the dropdown list. Because of this, I cannot install the AntiCheat component at all. Troubleshooting steps I have already tried: Reinstalled the EA App multiple times Reinstalled the game on both Steam and Epic Games Verified game files Cleared EA App cache Ran EA App and installer as Administrator Attempted manual EA AntiCheat installation Tried force install using command (install 701) Disabled Windows security features (Controlled Folder Access) Checked for conflicting software (virtualization, reWASD, etc.) Tested another EA game (Fallen Order works normally) Created and tested with a new Windows administrator account Additional detail: Secure Boot is shown as “Unsupported” on my system, so it cannot be enabled. This issue seems to be related to the AntiCheat installation not being triggered or the game not being properly registered with EA AntiCheat. Jedi Survivor crashing with the low level fatal error device hung thing.
So I've tried everything I can after scouring google for a solution. I've updated all my drivers, repaired the game, upped my pagefile, dropped the graphics, never had RT on, checked the system, and ran it with only the bare minimum on the pc running. I have tried to just deal with the crashing but I lost a lot of progress so I want to find a way to just stop the crashing. I can honestly care less about the poor framerate in parts just as long as the game doesn't crash.
Bug in Steam/EA App achievements
I set out to platinum the game without realizing it had these kinds of bugs with the achievements. I got to the point where I unlocked all the achievements except for "I Am a Living Legend," which requires defeating all legendary enemies. It's strange that I didn't get it since I already have the tactical guide 100% complete, and to get that achievement I had to have defeated all the enemies.
