The Legendary 'ehaught58' Creations
Hello fellow Simmers! My name is Ed, and I go by the screen name ehaught58. I have been creating a variety of lots for going on 25 years in the Sims franchise. Since the Sims 1 up through the Sims 4, I have created hundreds of detailed lots, several have been featured throughout the history of the franchise. I have not been advertising my lots since the Sims 4 began to give myself a break, but I continued building and posting for personal enjoyment. Some long-time fans of the Sims may remember me when I participated in several Sims events from 2004-2014. I have decided to try advertising my lots on here and the EA Discord to see if Simmers are still interested in downloading them. If I get a good response, I will continue posting them. Thank you to those of you who have supported me in the past, and welcome to all newcomers. Cracked Stone Castle: The Sims - The Gallery - Official Site Cracked Stone Castle_by ehaught58. Reaper's Rewards Part 12: Fruits of Your Labor After getting dressed for the day, Lucifer looks over at his outdoors kitchenette. He spent a lot of hours honing his cooking skills. And many came to buy his desserts as well as his homemade pizzas. He thinks it would be nice to have a day of free food to offer all those that supported his cooking accomplishments. He will throw a party. He dismantles his kitchen and sets up a couple tables for food. He spends much of the morning cooking pizzas and desserts. Midafternoon, he calls those with whom he got numbers from and invites any passerby’s over. Lucifer was able to get a selfie with one of the ghosts. He was told to make sure to hit the bar later in the evening hours. As the gathering was coming to a close, Lucifer notices the Grim Reaper hanging around. He was near a plant he hadn’t seen or knew he planted before. The Grim Reaper explains how it is a special plant that was formed from all the scrap food that was put into the trash bin. As Lucifer is preparing to go to the bar he went to the other night and the Grim Reaper temporarily turned him into a ghost, the Grim Reaper waves their hand and a coffin appears. The Grim Reaper decides to take a nap and will wait for Lucifer’s return. At the bar, Lucifer notices there are a lot of ghosts around. He feels like his eyesight has changed in some way. One of the ghosts that was at his gathering that he took a picture with earlier that day as well as one who Lucifer met during the times his food stall was open is at the bar. Lucifer brought his homemade Ambrosia with him and decides to offer it to this ghost. Something begins happening to the ghost. The ghost turns back into his flesh form and is returned back to the living. Lucifer finds out his name is Kai Aether and he has a husband and son who are still living. Kai thanks Lucifer for giving him this opportunity to be with his family again. After midnight, Lucifer goes back to his greenhouse where the Grim Reaper said he would be waiting. Pleased with the decision Lucifer made about resurrecting Kai, the Grim Reaper offers Lucifer a special crystal he can put into a piece of jewelry to summon him wherever he may be. With this, the Grim Reaper vanishes. Walking past his greenhouse, Lucifer notices another freezer boney. This one was at the main entrance to the greenhouse, blocking the entry. It also glowed in the dark. Perhaps there is no use for the greenhouse for now but is still being protected. The little cow plant has now grown into a much larger one as Lucifer approaches it. There is a piece of cake planted on its tongue. Lucifer can only come to the conclusion that the cow is also congratulating him for all his work on helping a ghost come back to life. Lucifer accepts the piece of cake as gratitude. The End... Or is it?SolvedLegacySims20177 days agoSeasoned Hotshot30Views1like2CommentsDay and Knight Gen 7 NEW UPDATE!
Hello, dear readers! After the change to the Sims Forums, my Day and Knight thread was moved over but because of how cumbersome this forum is, those who've already read through the generations 1-6 and were waiting for more in Generation 7 would be absolutely LOST when trying to find a new post. I honestly am not sure how this forum will work exactly. If you're new to this story--Day and Knight was based off of the I'm a Lover Challenge. Wildly popular, this story followed the life of Alex Day and his romance journey. This lead to the legacy's start with a crazy, harrowing plot and many twists to the story. If you'd like to start on the journey, please go here: DAY AND KNIGHT GEN ONE For those who can't be bothered with a long read, start with GENERATION SEVEN. I will be updating here and on my wordpress site. Here's the newest chapter:DAY AND KNIGHT GENERATION 7.31 ENJOY!!! Reaper's Rewards Part 11: The Moment of Truth The next morning, Lucifer grabs the mail outside his greenhouse. The last edition of the “Ambrosia Society” Newsletter arrives. It explains exactly how to cook Ambrosia. Lucifer wastes no time in trying his hand at cooking the Ambrosia. From the newsletter, Mimsy’s book, and talking to the Grim Reaper themself, Lucifer feels prepared. Lucifer is pleased with the end results. It looks just how it is from the newsletter. The outcome of the Ambrosia is to bring someone back to life. He’s met a few ghosts on his journey to creating this Ambrosia. From a ghost trying out one of his delicious treats he cooked up to the ghost vendor within the Magic Realm from Glimmerbrook. There is a strange noise coming from the greenhouse that grabs Lucifer’s attention. It sounds like a cow. Lucifer is curious as he’s not in the countryside. At the corner of his greenhouse, Lucifer spots a peculiar plant. It has a head shape of a cow, plus it also has leaves and it’s growing out of the ground. It looks harmless. IDIC, a Cantrell: The Early Years, Part Four Update Brianna gazed out of the viewport, feeling the thrum of the engine beneath her booted feet. “It’s so dark,” she said as the space skiff landed ever so smoothly on the pad on the top of Mount Seleya, a knife gliding over butter. The only light, small circular lights set into the sand outlining the landing pad. “Midnight,” Joseph Cantrell confirmed. “It’s essential nobody knows who you are, in order for the test to be valid. For now, you are strictly the Candidate.” “Well, that’s not in the least bit impersonal. I do suppose it’s better than being known as the Anomaly, though.” As she watched out of the viewport, she noticed dark figures, barely seen, lining up in two rows, forming a corridor, of sorts. “I’m sorry, honey. This entire road for you has been a hard one. I’m certain once this test is over things will become easier.” “Easier? Daddy, you do know I’ve been accepted into the Starfleet Academy. It’s okay, I don’t expect easy. I’m unsure what God’s plans are for me, but there is a reason for all of this.” Joseph smiled at his daughter, draping an arm over her shoulders. “Come, it’s time to debark.” Before taking the ramp Brianna pulled the headpiece, which looked very much like a Mediaeval hood, over her head. The headdress completely swathed her head, much like ones worn before a hanging, her bundled blonde hair also concealed. Joseph took her by the elbow to guide her down the ramp. The short line of dark figures moved toward them, a light wind rippling the hems of their floor-length black robes. They were greeted by members of the High Council and Clergy. Joseph held his hand up in the Vulcan, split finger greeting, bowing his head in respect, glad and more at ease to see Ambassador Sarek and his consort, Amanda, was among the welcoming party. “We shall take it from here,” T’Pran said, as she greeted father and daughter. She took Brianna’s arm, escorting her up to the chamber in the High Tower. The stairs wound ever upward. The coolness of the interior was refreshing. Finally, they reached the top. Brianna could hear the heavy door squeal on its hinges as her former Governess opened the door. Leading the teen inside the doorway, T’Pran guided her over to a chair. “You may wish to take a seat. Things won’t be underway for an hour or so.” Watching for only a moment as Brianna found the arms on the chair to guide herself into the seat, T’Pran lit the incense in the molten rock carving on the Dias. The sweet, woody fragrance soon infused the room. Brianna had quite forgotten how calming it was. After a short time, T’Pran spoke, “You may remove the hood for now. It is time for you to change into appropriate clothing,” she said, opening a wardrobe and taking out a long, silken, white gown. “This should fit you well.” With a quick gesture, she bid Brianna come to her. Dutifully, the teenager walked across the ancient stone flooring to the corner of the large room. Sweeping the hair out of her face as she removed the hood. Quickly, she changed out of her pants and top, folding them as she removed them. Carefully, pulling the garment on over her head. Turning to face the ancient floor mirror, she watched as T’Pran then assisted with the ornate head-covering. Once the girl was properly outfitted, T’Pran sat in a chair in the corner of the room. Brianna’s emotions were more than palpable, to her dismay. Outright fear the strongest of them all. "If I fail," the girl began. "Thee hast demonstrated thy ability many times," T'Pran assured her. "Thee shalt not fail." Brianna chewed on her lower lip, her worries not so easily assuaged. Having been dubbed the Anomaly. Today would be the proof of that status. "But" she protested and was sharply cut off by a look from her governess as the Vulcan woman slowly blinked her eyes in warning. "Thee hast time in which to still thyself," T'Pran suggested evenly, holding her open hand out gesturing to the molten rock carving resting on a raised dais in the corner of the room. Incense billowed forth from it, inviting tranquility of mind. Dropping her gaze respectfully, Brianna nodded. "I beg forgiveness for my emotional display," the girl solemnly replied. She did not move until T'Pran left the small chamber, nor attend to her meditation right away preferring to gaze out of the high, tower window, momentarily losing herself in the activity in the courtyard below, seen now as the sun lazily rose. Vulcans, dressed in formal garb of ornately decorated headdresses signifying their individual Houses and long, flowing dark robes denoting their station, am-bled about the cracked, parched grounds forming small groups. Soon they would be lining up to begin the procession. Brianna felt her stomach twist itself into knots. In her nearly seventeen Earth years, she had never experienced excitement, nor anxiety, quite like this. Her telepathic powers alone were not requirement enough, she had come to realize; An even, controlled temperament, brought about through training, was essential. At the moment, however, Brianna certainly had her doubts about that, her mind swimming, drowning in a tide of emotion. Where was her control, just now? Strangely, she had been rather anxious all week, brushing it off as anticipation, yet it was more than mere nerves, she felt . . . Brianna drew in a deep, calming breath, attempting once again to gain control over herself. In this frenzied state it would only be too easy to give into the tumult inside of her, choking off the flow of her psychic signal, in turn rendering her quite blind, metaphysically speaking. She feared she would fail if she couldn't get herself back under control, bringing dishonor not only to herself and her family, but to T'Pran as well; such a failure lending itself to the notion she was merely mocking the ways of the Vulcan people, as some had purported. It was a thought she could not bear. Training in theVulcan Way for Brianna had been particularly grueling, a regular war of wills; hers against T'Pran's. The governess sought to harness the power of the child's mind, indeed her very soul, forcing Brianna to be more Vulcan in nature, at times, than the human she was. It had been an arduous task taking them both on a fifteen-and-a-half-year odyssey against a backdrop of mockery and bias. Brianna had proved to be incredibly human; stubborn, willful, impulsive. There were those, not a few of them Ruling House members, who contended a human could never achieve theDiscipline. Some even suggested T'Pran must be senile to consider it, and some who felt Outworlders should be kept apart from things Vulcan. These were known as purists, afraid all the contact with other planets and cultures would eventually strip Vulcan of its own culture, or at the very least dilute it beyond recognition, as if they hadn't fully accepted the tenants of IDIC. Despite these protests, and after more tears, ranting and anguish on Brianna’s part, the journey was at last at an end. T'Pran had slowly won out, teaching the girl at first to refrain from doing that which came so very easily to her and then how to control it. Today, fully schooled if not a bit anxious, Brianna Cantrell stood ready for the Test. The K'Matra, her Rite of Passage. It would be threefold in nature. First, she would be judged by how well she could shield her thoughts from others. Secondly, by her ability to mindmeld, being asked to form a mental-linking with another where they would literally become one mind able to feel each other's thoughts. The third test was shrouded in mystery, the conditions of which having been carefully shielded from her, set up covertly by the Vulcan Council of Elders. It was this test she feared the most, being judged in secret; not knowing what was expected of her. Author's Note: This is an adaptation from my published work, Night Whispers. Reaper's Rewards: A Sims 4 Story
Reaper's Rewards Part 10: Skilled Chef Luckily for Lucifer, the effects of being a ghost wore off after six hours. The next morning, he goes to check his mail and finds two pieces of mail waiting for him. Another edition of the “Ambrosia Society” Newsletter and a Gardening book titled, “Getting Your Thumbs Green”. The Newsletter suggests the reader continue to work on their cooking. Ambrosia is not easy to make, and one must be an excellent cook. For this reason, Lucifer spends another full day of cooking. He also got himself a new shirt showcasing his admiration for the freezer bonies that he believes the Grim Reaper has been leaving behind to protect his greenhouse. Early evening hours, Lucifer opens his food stall. He made a bunch of cupcakes again. He tried some new flavors to see how well the locals would like them. One really took a liking to the red velvet cupcakes. As the sun is about to go down, Lucifer gets himself ready to leave for the rest of the evening. As he is about to take care of his plants one final time for the evening, another freezer boney has appeared with the rest of the group. This one has a plush look to it. Reaper's Rewards Part 9: An Inspiring Potion After buying the death flower from Morgyn, Lucifer is curious what other items came and are for sale within the Magic Realm. Both he and Morgyn return to Glimmerbook to the Magic Realm’s portal. Lucifer visits the shop he did before. The same ghost vendor is there. Lucifer asks about a potion of youth. That was also mentioned in Mimsy’s book. Luckily, the vendor had one for him to purchase. Lucifer stores it away for when he needs it. Afterwards, Lucifer heads to a bar located in another town. He is in the mood for a drink. The Grim Reaper happens to be behind the bar and offers Lucifer a special drink. After Lucifer takes a drink, he immediately turns into a ghost. Uh, oh! Part 3 The Pancakes is up and they have a new baby! The first new boo of Willowcreek. Introducing my new Legacy Rotation (started Nov. 5, 2024) Over the last month I've been experimenting with play styles, and I think I've found one that fits me really well. I love rotational gameplay. I've been waiting for Life and Death to come out to start, because I want every sim to have a personal gravestone and place within their history. I also want to really play each and every household that is premade. So, I've created one sim to start, and I've decided on Willowcreek as my starting point for this rotational legacy. I've disabled all of my packs except Laundry Stuff. I can't imagine a house without laundry. And of course, the new expansion, Life and Death. I won't be adding packs back in quickly. I really want to soak in every single one until I feel satisfied, and then add an element to my game rotation. I also want their ages to be staggered. I'm going to start off by staggering them through use of the Potion of Youth at various non-necessary times, so that birthdays will also be different for each sim. One Goal at a Time First Rotational Goal: Establish everyone in their career. If they don't have a career, choose one for them or assign them a role (mom, tutor, seed collector, etc). Order of Rotations: I'm starting out with 6 Households in Willowcreek, and then as I feel I can handle another household, I'll introduce them into the mix. My next post will have the names and pictures.WisdomBuilders16 days agoSeasoned Veteran117Views4likes16CommentsThe Many Lives of Mirana
My name is Mirana. Last name doesn't matter. It will change a few times. "Many" might be optimistic. I might get tired of the whole rebirth thing and opt for moving on. I started as an overweight elder with gray-brown hair and glasses. I acquired a cat, Enigma, and moved into Moppy Manor in Ravenwood. There I set to work writing my third bestseller. At the same time I worked on my bucket list, improving my photography skill and eventually taking a few pictures in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. But my old life wasn't very interesting. Once I completed my Soul's Journey, there wasn't much to do except wait for death. I picked up a few tarot cards, explored the crypts, and even tried being a ghost. While waiting for Grim, I picked out the family would be reborn to. I had met Geoffrey Landgraab a few times and found out that he was family-oriented and good -- excellent traits for a future parent. I checked out his house while taking pictures and observed that it was spacious. A bit modern for my taste, but there would be enough money to change that, I hoped. So I made him my heir and the guardian of Enigma.MVWdeZT18 days agoRising Hotshot51Views1like5CommentsReaper's Rewards: A Sims 4 Story
Reaper's Rewards Part 8: Death's Favorite Flower As evening arrives, the Grim Reaper makes another appearance to Lucifer. Lucifer is so close to the Ambrosia recipe and the Reaper suggests to Lucifer he do a little more research on his own. Lucifer wonders what more than can be besides the “Ambrosia Society” Newsletter and the book he obtained that is authored by Mimsy and goes into detail a bit more. But he pulls out his phone in front of the Grim Reaper and looks for more information. One thing Lucifer found that he didn’t see or read from his other sources, is that plants understand when being talked to. They may not respond back with words, but they will communicate in other means. Perhaps asking his new spliced plants to grow orchids and pomegranates couldn’t hurt. This would have to wait as it’s late and dark. Lucifer wakes up the next morning. Something feels odd. Looking in the mirror, he takes a look at his arm and notices he has a tattoo. It looks to be the marking of the Grim Reaper. Heading out to his greenhouse, Lucifer almost steps on what looks to be a flower. A very colorful flower. Lucifer has this feeling to plant it. So, he changes out some of his flowers to make room for the one he just found. Afterwards, Lucifer starts talking to his plants. Especially the new flower he planted. Perhaps it will grow faster by doing so. And hopefully he’ll get that orchid and pomegranate from the others. Later in the day, Lucifer does more fishing. It was good for cooking. Plus, it was fun for him to see all the different types of fish he could catch. However, today he did not expect to catch a fish that looked like a bat. At first he thought it really was a bat. But it wasn’t. It was a batfish. Instead of having it as a meal, he mounts it and places it on the outside of his greenhouse. Lucifer did a lot of pie making throughout the day. Towards the evening hours, he opens his food stall to sell slices of the pies. Another good turnout. After cleanup from the pie slices he sold, Lucifer checks in one final time with his plants. He notices yet another freezer boney guarding the entrance to the greenhouse. This one looks more metallic. The next morning as Lucifer arrives to his greenhouse to attend his plants, there’s a package against his mailbox. Opening it up, it’s a painting. And he recognizes the person in the painting. It’s the author of the book he found lying next to his grim summoning contraption. It’s a painting of Lady Mimsy Alcorn Shallot. Later in the afternoon as Lucifer is working on his plants and trees, Morgyn stops by. He had visited before inquiring about Lucifer wanting an angelfish from the Magic Realm. Lucifer had explained what he was doing. Today, Morgyn arrives to share some good news for Lucifer. The shop in the Magic Realm has acquired a death flower. Rather than trying to sell it in the shop, he knew Lucifer was trying to create one from grafting other types of flowers. Morgyn tells Lucifer he will sell it for 1,300 simoleons. As much as Lucifer enjoyed planting and learning new things from it, he needed this death flower. He agrees to the price and buys it from Morgyn. Reaper's Rewards Part 7: Flirting with Death As Lucifer was about to head home from his greenhouse, he almost stumbles upon another little freezer boney outside the entrance. This one looked like a sugar skull. The Grim Reaper is definitely sending their little minions to protect the plants. As a new day dawns, another edition of the “Ambrosia Society” Newsletter arrives in the mail for Lucifer. It encourages its readers to keep practicing on cooking. Lucifer decides to try out some new shoes he obtained. Lucifer continues to read Mimsy’s book, and she mentions about flirting with the Grim Reaper. Would this really help him and the Reaper’s quest on Ambrosia, Lucifer thought to himself. He thought he would give it a try. The Grim Reaper didn’t take kindly to that and yelled at Lucifer. Maybe it was a female thing and Mimsy knew what she was doing. However, for his efforts in trying, the Grim Reaper leaves Lucifer a gift as he departs. When the Reaper vanishes, a bike is in their place. Lucifer finds it intriguing and takes it out for a ride. Morgyn Embers from the Magic Realm stops by to visit Lucifer. He found out that Lucifer was in the Magic Realm looking for an angelfish and wants to inquire why. Lucifer explains about his quest for the Grim Reaper and Ambrosia. Morgyn offers his assistance, but Lucifer tells him he has what he is looking for. As the day moves forward, Lucifer continues to create sweets in his outdoors kitchen. This round he makes a few cakes. This includes chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and blue confetti. The strawberry cake is the first to sell out after he opens his food stall for the locals.
