I'm not sure how this was overlooked in the first place. It seems obvious to me that the cross - compatibility should have been inherent. Enchanted by nature introduced indoor house plants. This in itself is quite novel and something I've wanted to see for a long time. However, these new houseplants can be grown in ceramic tabletop plant pots. Why weren't crafting recipes added to the pottery wheel/kiln appliances for tabletop pots? Hi, I’ve seen this issues in past forums and it says it’s been solved by the response of “delete your extra fridges”. Can you just not limit how many fridges we have on our lots? That would make more sense. Some people have extravagant builds and want to have multiple levels or living spaces with multiple fridges throughout because if you have a mansion, it’s easier to walk to the closest mini fridge or a small kitchen to eat unless you teleport everywhere. The solution would be to allow us the use of more fridges. Is there a reason why we can’t have more fridges? Why is there a limit on how many we can have? It's incredibly annoying having the vampires pack when it's basically just cas and BB because vampires were nerfed into nonexistance. I have neighbourhood stories turned on and every other occult in game gets into relationships, has babies and creates more of that occult except vampires. They don't autonomously turn anyone so the only way to get more vampires in game is to make one myself and turn other sims or have my sim turned so I can turn other sims. I make a bar or club with the vampire nexus trait and it's always full of every other type of sim except vampires. Werewolves have six different ways to be turned, two of which are accidental while vampires have 3 and none of those are accidental. I bought the vampires pack for actual vampire gameplay and all it is now is three townie vampires that do absolutely nothing. They need to be fixed!20Views2likes0CommentsSome Ideas
Not sure if I'm posting in the correct spot, but these are just some general ideas about the game and some things I'd love to see changed/added. Well, first and foremost I'd love for the game to work smoothly, just in general. But beyond that... Wouldn't it be nice if you weren't assigned a new butler every time you leave your lot and return? Not only do you have to reassign their bed to the new person, but you have to start over building relationships with this role as well. Also, on the subject of butlers, why do they follow you, uninvited, to vacations and getaways? That is very strange and awkward. I would love it if child Sims asked less pop-up questions of adult Sims. This auto-interaction seems to be crazy frequent, especially when you first open the game. It isn't that I'd like it disabled completely, its just that child Sims who are acting autonomously and not currently being directly controlled seem to want to do nothing but ask silly questions. Also, on that note, maybe add some new questions or change the old questions to reflect installed packs? So instead of always asking you about eating dirt or accepting unwanted gifts, perhaps children could ask questions about archery or fairies or if you played with marbles as a kid... things that help mirror actual gameplay and make the world feel more "lived-in". I would love it if there were a way to link Sims as family so that the game recognizes them as such. Even better if you could indicate what type of family and trigger appropriate social interactions specific to that. This idea came to me because I had families divided among separate households on PS4 (as families tend to do). When I upgraded to PS5 I had to upload my Sims to the gallery and re-download them into my PS5 for technical reasons. Anyway. The family members living under one roof together still recognize each other as family - but relatives with the same last name in other houses are now strangers. They have to meet as friends and start new relationships. They don't recognize a family relationship... which makes things really weird when they start flirting with each other. It would be so convenient to be able to just tell the game that these are relatives. And if you could go a step further and say "This is an aunt, this is an uncle, this is a cousin..." (or if the game just realized this) because there are things you might tell an aunt or uncle that you wouldn't say to your parents. Also, dynamics with cousins tend to be a shade different than dynamics with siblings. That sort of thing. Social interactions and perhaps even activity choices that reflect this would add a rich new layer of gameplay, imo Most shelves in the game hold just a few specific items. As in - this shelf holds items A, B, C - the next shelf will hold D, E, F but not A, B, or C. Why can't most shelves be designed to hold most things? I understand that some shelves are meant to look and feel bigger than other shelves - you can fit more on a hall table than you can on a wall shelf; I get that. But if you have two tiny potted plants that look the same size to the human eye... why does one fit on the wall shelf and the other one does not? That sort of thing. It is sometimes a struggle to decorate, for this reason. On that note - I think new "clutter items" are always welcome as future kit ideas. Why are men always ignored in clothing kits? Save for the one or two kits that were specifically all menswear, most kits - especially new kits - lean heavily female. Are you trying to tell us that its masculine to be naked? lol The new Autumn Apparel kit is a good example. There are like 7 pieces that are specifically masculine. the other 20 pieces are either unisex or specifically feminine. and on that note, hasn't there been only one child-specific clothing kit? It might be time to give the little ones some new drip, especially with the new child-focused expansion. And how about a teen-specific clothing kit, while we're at it? (Elders just recently got one) Something I immediately noticed with the new Imaginary Friends - why can't they help your child with the monster under the bed? I realize that the imaginary friend is also a child - however - they are a special entity that comes from imagination... just like the monster under the bed,,, so why can't they help your child Sim combat it? Especially if the whole point of having an imaginary friend is to have a companion who provides fun and comfort. Also... I think adult/elder fairies should be able to see and interact with imaginary friends - maybe even have unique interactions. The Getaway configuration menu really needs a "Do you really want to exit setting up this Getaway?" pop-up window to confirm whether the player actually wishes to abandon the setup. This has been bothering me for a long time. I dont understand why we have settings for graphics, audio and the size the skill list (which often reset too) which persist between sessions but then there are certain settings equally important but reset when closing the game. When I select a setting, any setting, I expect the game to remember my choice. But it doesnt. I open the gallery, go to my library and the settings are "all, newest, all, custom content unchecked, packs checked". I always have to change half of those to my liking. The gallery could open my page when I click on the gallery button the first time of the session because the main page with random content which always reverts to "all, all, custom content unchecked, packs checked" is something I never want to see. The first lot of the session has walls set to "cutaway view". I NEVER use that! I prefer "walls up view". When entering build mode the grid is always visible. I always turn it off and only turn it on on rare occasions when working on multiple level lots outer shell. The relationship panel always resets to all relationships. I prefer the household tab which takes less loading time and then for me to decide which tab I want to see. The similogy panel always expands all of the lists. I close most of them for a good reason. When there is an event like the harvestfest the goals window in the upper left opens all the time even though I closed it. And no, it would not clutter or bloat the settings file. My settings file is 93 bytes "big". Saving my choices in build & live mode cant possible make the file grow to unhealthy proportions or increase loading times. Why can the game not remember the settings I choose when it comes to the above? It literally makes no difference if this is just terrible design from the start or a bug that hasnt been adressed since release of the base game. For the love of all things good, can we please undo the camera zoom + lock for the rings? It was an addition no one asked for and takes away from being able to see other cas items that in rings. I only have had a little testing time with AA, Custom Venues, Roles and Schedules, but I believe that only roles seem to visit the lots if scheduled, and even with Lot Trait's like Vampire Nexus or Fairy Passage don't seem to work. Only the roles seem to show up, and no visitors. Now I know I can add the role types, and that is guaranteed, but not RNG visitors? Does anyone else notice this, or have alternate results? Toddlers who want to play on the equipment but lack the skills often freeze in front of it. It's heartbreaking to see them standing there, showing no interest even in toy boxes or stuffed animals. I think it would be good to either ease the children's fixation on the equipment and encourage them to use the toddler-specific play structures on their own, or add modular components to the equipment that can be set to a lower height suitable for toddlers.penguinNMPR5 days agoRising Novice17Views0likes0CommentsSims can't relax and read?

This might be an unpopular opinion, but i would love to have a Royalty/Monarchy type of pack, without the need of mods. To be able to have royal families just sounds fun to me, whether it be starting out as a king or queen and having a royal lineage for legacy gameplay, or start from the ground up to become royalty. I also think the cas items and build mode items would also be pretty interesting to have too! Perhaps this would be more Game pack teir rather than expansion pack. I miss cars!!! I want to petition EA to do a Cars and Wheels stuff pack that adds motorcycles and cars. Vehicles pop in the inventory and can be placed on a parking spot (transparent with a curb stop of different colors). Selecting it from a Sims inventory would route you to the world travel screen. It would also introduce the driving skill, which you can select any sim and have them practice driving with another, which builds relationships. If no other sim is available or qualified to mentor, they can select their vehicle and select "practice driving at DMV" which both options can provide a variety of moods and scenarios cards. The mechanic skill would also be introduced with a Mechanic NPC job. Hot Rod Aspirations would now be a thing. A cheap car will give tense moodlets for "being late" and angry for "breaking down". A car enthusiast trait would be sad to own a cheap car. A luxury car would give them a confident moodlets. When arriving at a location, other Sims could get happy from "seeing" an expensive car, or embarrassed from seeing a poor one. Scared moodlets for motorcycles would be for Sims with low driving skill and can only be for skill 5 or up. Cars could have upgrades when parked, weither your sim does it their self with a mechanic skill, or hires a professional to do it (instant but pricey) I would believe upgrade car parts can be scavanged and would be needed for upgrades and they would be rare and more expensive than electronic upgrade parts. Customizing colors, paints, rims, and upgrading the interior would be options that make the car your own (Similar to how the holiday house decorating box works and has a lot of options for seasons) I would say the loading screens would still be a thing, but it gives an extra breath of life, especially for those who like building garages and having cars, no more cheats on toys.BriizaLuv6 days agoSeasoned Newcomer23Views2likes0Comments[S] [OR] Can't use flowers from flower arranging table for herbalism
While you can use Elderberry/Noxious Elderberry, Huckleberry/Muckleberry and Morel Mushroom/False Morel Mushrooms stored in the refrigerator to make Herbalism remedies, if you store Chamomile/Toxic Chamomile and Fireleaf/Poison Fireleaf in the Violets Are Blue Flower Arranging Table (since they are flowers, they can't be stored in the refrigerator but can be stored in the flower arranging table, though there aren't any flower arrangements that use them) they aren't available for making Herbalism remedies. I often use the T.O.O.L. mod when playing The Sims 4. Normally, over-sized crops can be planted on an in-ground garden patch without any issues. However, if I use T.O.O.L. to place the in-ground garden patch outside of the lot boundaries, the option to plant over-sized crops is no longer available. It would be fantastic if this functionality could be enabled so that over-sized crops can also be planted outside the lot. This would open up more creative possibilities for community gardens, decorative builds, and storytelling. Thank you for considering this improvement!14Views1like0Comments
