The development team continues to ignore us For example for 11 years we've been playing with 8 Sims on a 20 SIM plot while they know we play with 150 Sims and watch in an open world. I was playing the game on a laptop only to be shocked when I tried it on a PS5 and found it had better graphics and resolution even using the same 4K screen The PS5's graphics are a million times better than a laptop's Isn't this disrespectful to us as gamers ? 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
GTW Detective VS Burglar
Welp I was playing my Detective sim household and a burglar spawned. Disappointingly there's really nothing special besides fighting them. I wish our Detective Sims who we are currently playing at the moment (not as NPC) can straight up arrest them. Mine just fought them off and they ran away. Kinda bummer.
Why are moodlets not sorted by time remaining?
This is something I keep an eye on, not only in sims but in other games too for my inner peace. In another game I got a mod to sort moodlets (they are called buffs there) by time remaining because like in the sims they keep jumping around by default. With my settings the oldest or passive auras are first and then the timer gets smaller and smaller. This is so satisfying to look at. Also it makes it possible to read some of them. Now in sims its a whole different feature. The sorting seems arbitrary, The list auto collapses after one second the more moodlets we accumulate. Which has been one of my biggest nemesis' in the game for a very long time especially when I found out thats intentional. Most of the time I could only read what they do by pausing the game. And the blinking is super annoying the more moodlets are about to expire. Then there are moodlets with an extra white frame around them. Apparently those are special moodlets. Somehow. But most of them are no different than the moodlets without it. Now with a mod I have the list always expanded. Its called "Keep Buff/Moodlet Panel Always Open". Sometimes a sim has so many moodlets that they hit the pause button. Doesnt really bother me because I can still reach them to read what each moodlet is for. But it blows my mind that this pretty vital feature doesnt get improved.
[GRO] Buggy Milestones, please disable
I have/ have had all issues reported on milestones already. They are also underwhelming and things you think should be a milestone is not and the most unimportant, uninteresting things are. For some reason. Obviously I wish the milestones to be fixed, but can you also just give us the option to disable them in the settings please? Even if fixed at some point they are as mentioned so uninteresting, they add nothing as all sims get the same ones and the only interesting ones are basically visiting Sixam, Forgotten Grotto etc. That is it. Just going somewhere. Makes all sims the same, so what is the point... No mods or ccAbility to better organize our library
I would LOVE if there was a way to better organize our saved gallery creations by creating folders that we could then label and separate our various saves into however we wish. I know there’s already a way to narrow down households, lots, rooms, lot size, etc, but it’s not specific enough for me and I still have to scroll through countless saves to find what I’m looking for. My main reason for saving anything to my library is in the event I lose my main save somehow or even lose a little progress (I use a LOT of mods so I tend to lose some progress often lol). So, that’s why I like to make sure I save every lot I work on and I also keep multiple saves of the same households at different stages. I also have many, many lots created by other simmers as well; some I’ve placed in my current save and some I haven’t, which is kinda hard to keep track of with how the library is now. So, it would be AMAZING if you could add this function to the library to help us keep it neat, organized, and easier to navigate.
[GTW] Not All Police Station Roles Being Filled
This is for the detective career. When loading into the police station, there might not be enough NPC Sims who load into the lot to fill all the roles in the police station. The roles where Sims are noticeably missing are the receptionist, assistant, and chief roles.[GTW][S] Suspects Showing Up in Hot/Cold Weather Outfits
This is another old bug that affects the detective career. I can't find the original report. After issuing the APB, the Sim who shows up as the suspect wears a hot or cold outfit if the location is outdoors and the temperature is too hot or cold. This only affects the game if Seasons is installed or enabled.Tracking Family Tree
hello, I am a console player. I’m wondering if the sims team could add extended family family tree tracking? I’ve been role playing and playing the same family for actually 10 years, and I think it would be so cool to be able to track the sims all the way, like cousins, grand nieces and nephews and great aunts.Nature guardian
I would love to continue building on the nature experience in game with a wildlife guardian trait or aspiration, and have bird houses that birds can nest in that you can put on your lot and watch. Have bird tables that you can fill with bird food or squirrel nuts. Hedgehog houses or similar for your lots. Wildflower patches you can grow for bees and hover flies, butterflies, moths or for birds with visiting wildlife. Then have the option to go for wildlife walks, watch nature and have a nature journal to track what you spot. Many maps already have particular wildlife and it would be fantastic if each location had its own unique wildlife for sims to spot and journal.Height for sims
Hi Sims team! 😊 I’m a big fan of The Sims 4 and have been playing for years — especially on console. I love how customizable Sims are with body shape, weight, and muscle sliders, and I really appreciate all the updates you’ve done over time to make the game more realistic and fun for everyone. I wanted to share a suggestion that I think would add even more immersion — especially for console players: a way to adjust the height of Sims. This could be in the form of simple presets (like short / average / tall) so it doesn’t break animations, or light height sliders in Create-A-Sim. I think this kind of feature would help players tell more realistic stories and better reflect real-life differences. For example, I’m playing with a child Sim (about age 11 — which feels like pre-teen age) and I’d really love to be able to adjust her natural height so she fits the proportions of the real world more accurately. I understand that height affects animations and interactions, so even a small preset option for console players would be amazing. Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into this game — I really enjoy playing it, and I hope this idea might be useful to consider for future updates! 🌟Expansion packs cheaper
I do not think expansion packs should be free but i think they should be more affordable. 40 dollars for 1 expansion pack is CRAZY. As a teen i cant imagine how people have all of them. There are a lot of sales but its still kinda pricey. I also feel like there arent any updates for base game. Only little things but nothing big. And the furniture and cas packs are also crazy. Like who in their right mind is paying 5 dollars for 5 cas items?Autonomy Flirting/Mischief
I have been playing the sims 4 for about 2 years and ive never had this problem. But recently all my sims are flirting or doind mischeavous things. Even if theyre in a relationshp, have the loyal trait or if they dislike mischef . Ive tried mods to prevent sims from cheating such as "Always be loyal" settings. Its really annoying because i cant have my sims to interact with literally any non household sims without them cheating. Its really ruining the gameplay because i hate cheating so much because it gives them tense or sad moodlet for like 2 days for both of them, adds a guilty about cheating sentiment which makes being around that sims give them another negative moodlet so i just create a new household. Please fix this because i am actually losing my mind with this.
Bug 5. parts for improvement
To buy upgrade parts for plumbing, electronics, or others, you have to manually click the arrow to increase the quantity. WHY can’t you just type the number? Later, when the parts are already in the inventory, you can’t give them to a family member individually or in a selected amount — only the entire stack (100 or 50 pieces). If I want to give 20 pieces, I have to go back to the computer and manually click the purchase quantity again.
