Incoherent/unpractical things
Here's a list of things that doesn't make sense in the game to me anymore, given the content we've been receiving lately, it's clear that those things turns the game icoherent and sometimes give us no freedom, even breaking immersion. • Life state slot it's hidden for human sims and we can't switch the traits in a alredy created occult sim. ✅ • Can't create ghosts (and skeletons) in CAS even knowing that all we need is a death cause trait. (Base) ✅ • Can't wear female swimsuit as tops like the Pride and Realm Of Magic ones. (Base) • Masculine clothes only earns a breast shadow in feminine frames, but female clothes keeps it in masculine frames. (Base) • Having to check the door for visitors/services everytime, cause we don't have a notification for their arrival. (Base) • Invited sims entering our house without permission or house key. (Base) • "Welcome wagon" starts without our consentiment, the neighbors don't even know if someone's home. (Base) • Fear interactions and running scared being so overreactive and not stricted to "Terrified" emotion. (Base) • Social events don't have a "free entry" option. (Base) • Sims can't refuse a promotion. (Base) • Some level descriptions of entertainer career makes it look more about comedy than general entertainment. (Base) • Piano skill not included in entertainer career's promotion tasks. (Base) • Pools increasing hygiene. (Base) • Parents unable to invite their child's friends to their birthday party, because they don't know them. (Base) • Aunt, uncle, cousin and grandparents options not available for selection in CAS. (Base) • Sims do not react with animations when getting moodlets. (Base) • Human mixed skin color not shared with aliens and vice versa. (Get to Work) • Can't delete or link alien's disguise. (Get to Work) • Can't go to the Hospital as patient like NPCs in the medical career. (Get to Work) • Unable to send a sim alone to club meetings. (Get Together) • Cancel holidays and getting a sad moodlet. (Seasons) • No "turn off" option for surprise holiday generation. (Seasons) • No notifications for Sulani festivals. (Island Living) • Skeletons unable to wear clothes like Bonehilda and face paint/hair/wigs like mexican skeletons do. (Jungle Adventures) • Spellcasters being occults but not having an occult form. (Realm of Magic) • Collectible pets/familiars not having interactions like rodents does. (Base, Get to Work, Outdoor Retreat, Realm of Magic) • Occults using disguise while being ghosts. (Get to Work, Vampires, Island Living, Werewolves) • Ghosts, Aliens, Merfolk and Werewolves unable to access Vampires' details, like spellcasters do. (Get to Work, Vampires, Island Living & Werewolves) ✅ Do you guys have any other complaint like these?Ideas for less notifications
These are some ideas to make the notifications less overwhelming, intrusive and uncomfortable for us players: • Festivals: Toggle off / Get rid of it / Keep it to the calendar; • Skill acquirement: Toggle off / Transfer it to tutorials; • Played sim trait discovery: Toggle off / Transfer it to tutorials; • Work/School event/challenge: Toggle off; • Discovery about other sims (traits/career/likes/etc.): Toggle off / Transfer info to the notebook/profile.
[CCSP] Career Outfits Won't Keep Jewelry On
PC, mods disabled/removed "Wear with All Outfits" does not include Career (unless wearing Career Outfit), and when wearing a Career Outfit and selecting "Wear with All Outfits" it only lasts till next time they change back into Career again (from another outfit). So constantly having to reapply or change into another outfit to get the moodlets back, but as this Sims is mostly in Career or Sleep the moodlets just are always dropping/removed. Swimming speed needs tuning...
I think after Adventure Awaits EP skilled sims do speed up quite a bit in the pool. That is fine for top skilled sims, but right now an elderly female with fitness skills of 6 is swimming sooooo fast that it just looks a bit silly. She reminds me of an insect trying desperately to find a way out, constantly hitting the edges. She is too old to swim this speedy, besides she is "only" skilled 6 - what will her speed be when she is at 9...? I think it should require a higher skill level to swim this speedy. I'm not sure how many speed levels there are, maybe they all should just be moved a couple lvls up? About elders, I think they should drop a couple speed levels due to age alone, regardless of skill. My elderly female looks more speedy than a natural trained teenager would be... Not saying that a top fitness skilled elder can't be speedy, but slowing down a bit would still be speedy. It should require top skills, or maybe even skilled elders should slow down a bit in general. When in the pool, after AA EP I notice that many more sims are entering the pool when I arrive a lot. They often are in the exact same posoition, about to enter the pool, doing exact same animations. I takes a while before I can see how many they are. I wish the pool was slightly less attractive. It feels weird that 5 sims are entering from the same spot when there are plenty of other things to do on a huge lot. I suspect it was programmed in because of the new diving boards and pool upgrade in general, I hope it won't last. At least it's better than sims always grilling food when entering a lot...

Outfits
Can we maybe add the ability to customize the colors and patterns on the clothes for if the color scheme we want for our sims isn't in the choices? I loved that about sims 3 and while I love the clothing choices a little better on 4, and the color schemes on the clothes are usually great, I miss the ability to make customized colors and patterns. I miss this for the makeup, hair and eyes too.
Game Pack Idea!
I would LOVE to see an integration of collectible plushies in the Sims4. Collectibles are often times repetitive and to some, an eye sore. I have scoured the interwebs for cute plushies CC but its lacking greatly. It'd be so fun to work toward some cute plushies of different themes (i.e., soft, pastel, holiday themes, dark themes, cottage, etc.) that we can add to personalize our Sims bedroom or house!

Curtains snapping to windows need to be optional
We need to talk about curtain snapping, placement and why it exists. In all of the years I've been playing The Sims 4 I don't think I've ever heard anyone who likes curtains snapping automatically to windows, but I can see why it exists in the first place. I assume when the game first launched, due its much more robust B&B system compared to previous games, curtains snapping automatically to windows was probably done in order to help builders find a good position for the curtains faster. I can see that happening. However it's clear to anyone who builds that curtains snapping don't always find good placements. This is actually true for a lot of the automatic features of B&B (like automatic window placement for example). It may be helpful for beginners, but it's not a feature that's widely enjoyed by many of the players. The biggest issue with the snapping is that it often defaults snap placement incorrectly, or undesirably to say the least. As shown above there's no reason for that curtain to sit that high above the window that I placed. The window was placed without move.objects on or alt-placement, to make it clear. But moving it slightly under moves the curtain straight on the window instead of slightly above it. I don't want the curtain rod to be fixed to the window glass, rather it should be slightly above it. This is not to mention other issues like having two windows close together for example. If there's one thing I often see being brought up in TS4 build communities is asking how to stop this. For example, this post with several comments/replies giving examples of how to avoid snapping. Whenever I see posts where people talk about or ask others what their favorite mods is, Ravasheen's No Curtain Snapping is often brought up. Which is great for those who use mods, and I shouldn't have to. I know devs don't like to remove features from the game, that's fair. But there should be at least an option in the settings for those of us who are tired of curtains snapping. It really makes building a lot more annoying for no reason. There's absolutely no reason as to why curtain snapping should still be mandatory in 2025, it should be an option instead.
Ive been thinking this for a while! This would make the game so much better
I have ALOAD of ideas.. Dear sims gods can we Ppppplease have…. Chance cards- to leave out what will happen. This could maybe be an option to tick on and off for players.. expert level. This way everyone can play how they like. I like to just choose without knowing the consequences as that’s more like real life. Prom- send alone option pppplease!!. I play mainly family gameplay with big families, i would love a rabbit hole to send my teens alone to prom if i cant play with them at that time! Dates, hangouts, club gatherings- send alone options. Similar to above just having that rabbit hole option with mood buffs would be a fun spin on it. If asked to go to gathering or on a date to have an option to ‘call me back again later’ or call me back at ……. Bla bla time. As sometimes it would be good to go to the event but at that exact moment you cannot if you’re doing something else. Better gift options. Presents and birthdays to be updated and should have better options for gifts, especially more personalised to likes and traits. The presents in the mail are so generic, no pack updates. Or even give big items as gift such as tv, game console, computers or pets. This could be done by clicking on a big item and select present as gift or clicking on the sim and ‘select big gift’ option. Joint community lots- can we not have a cafe as-well as a pool please? That way we get vendors without having to pay. Also….can we not just have vendors attend all stands for free? Better lot traits. Could add things like- Pregnant sims hangout, Mums or dads, Singles, Mourners, Elders, kids, toddlers or Geeks hangout. Without it being behind a paywall. Whims to be updated, please. These….. Suck….. Sorry. …. but they do. The sims 2 was on POINT for wants, it gives such realistic gameplay. Brings the game alive! Bypass friendly greeting for family members. There should be a family greeting and be instantly higher levels, i think this is more realistic. If you don't want that as a player then click friendly greeting and have the relationship bar start from scratch as per usual. Gallery to be updated with- Share clothes options or makeup CAS - to have Share clothes ideas so you can Save an outfit and use on other sims! And makeup too. We kind of have preset outfits in the game…. which i love to use but it would be great to make our own too. Sims home inventory should have the option to split if a sims moving out. This would be good for breakups etc Jobs - rabbit holes. I have an option to buy a veterinary but theres not a job role on the phone for that. I think that would be a good job to have as a rabbit hole. And i also have high-school years- why cant i be a teacher? again just a rabbit hole would be fine. Cottage living- farmer rabbit hole? I have paid for these packs. it would be good to have the jobs too. I play large families and cant be attending all jobs all the time but i would love some more variety on jobs please. 14. Finally. With science baby can we have an option to be pregnant or atleast come back 3days later to collect baby as this is more realistic. As someone myself who has needed IVF multiple times this would be an option i feel is more realistic. I know some of this stuff you can get through mods.. but can’t we just have it in game instead? Alot of the code is already there??. Anyways its just my opinion… thank you, please Amen
Too much tenants events
I want to report that I have only one house for a rent and this events are too frequent. It happens day by day, and it causes low rating and bad moodlets for all sims living with house for a rent owner. It would be good to reduce it to 1 event/ month. Also it's happens with a bug when we are disabling events from settings it's still shows events. So we can't reduce it, we can't disable it, one way to resolve annoying pop-ups events and moodlets is to kick out sims from the rented house. Probably there is another bug related to this, if I will kick out renters they will be automatically assigned to my house without my action. It's annoying when I want to change something in the house like furniture etc.Just some Ideas
I got two things I'd like to have in the game. I'm a huge nerd so one is about being nerdy while the other is actually because yes I'm a nerd and because I know theres people out there who exist with disabilities who play sims. My first idea for those disabled to have wheelchair for disabled sims. I came up with this idea because I'm creating the X-Men in my sims world and Charles needs a wheelchair not standing and walking. But also I thought about a friend of mine who uses a wheel chair who plays sims and I know she'd love to be able to create herself. Also possibly the wheelchairs being both manual push or move the wheels yourself and the motor wheelchairs that you can control with a joy stick? My second idea is possibly have a marvel universe pack because I'm a huge nerd and I love marvel and I think it would be fun to be able to have powers or mutations and possibly decorative tesseract or even a job that would fit in those lines and a little journey world like how starwars has one. Now obviously I can see the marvel one not happening but if it did that would be awesome. I understand not all sim players are into marvel. And I know that there are that are into marvel. But with the wheelchair one I think would be a great asset to the game and I would definitely like to see that one in the game You get hearing aids and the diabetes device thing that I can't think of the name of maybe we should have wheelchair sims or even blind Sims now that I think about it. With a blind Sims having a option to have a stick and possibly have the option to have a guide dog if you own the cats and dog pack even I think that would be really cool
