Deck The Palms Login Event: Begins Today December 16.
Update: This event involves no gameplay, just logging in for that day's rewards. It’s that time of year again! Jasmine Holiday is back with some fun holiday surprises. This holiday season, she’s traveling the world and sharing festive gifts with her fellow Simmers. Don’t miss out on delightful gifts like the Littlest Neighborhood Library and Slightly Fuzzy Earmuffs. Log in to claim these exclusive treasures. This free, limited-time Event kicks off on December 16, 2025 at 9 a.m. PST and ends on January 13, 2026. As Jasmine globe-trots through the holidays, she’s sending special gifts your way, like palm trees with colorful lights and collectable magnets to add to your board! All you need to do is log in and check the event page to find out when Jasmine is sending next. Each login helps you unlock rewards along the progress bar. Pack Exclusive Rewards Jasmine has pulled a few special goodies to share during this event like the Creature Comforts Pet Hoodie for cats & dogs (so cute!), perfect for adding more fun stuff to the packs you may already have. If you don’t currently own the packs associated with these rewards, don’t worry! The rewards you earn will be there waiting for you in the future if you decide to buy the pack. In Deck the Palms Login Event, Jasmine will send three Pack Exclusive Rewards: Creature Comforts Pet Hoodie (The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack) Serious Business Ticket Machine (The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack) My Big Voidcritter Child Slide (The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack) So Many Opportunities for Rewards! Get ready for more goodies! This new Login Event amps up the festive fun by shifting from weekly reward drops to more frequent surprises. And hey, we don’t tell Jasmine Holiday when she can and can’t send gifts, she’s on her holiday! She sends them when she wants to. How do you collect all of Jasmine’s gifts? You’ll find new gifts from Jasmine delivered on specific days. Make sure to check the schedule so you can log-in on these days to claim the rewards. If you start the Event late you will find some rewards already unlocked and ready for you to enjoy, but you will need to log in for a few days to unlock all of these festive surprises. Make sure to log in by January 4th to claim them all. It’s the holidays! With all these gifts coming in, your inventory is full and our delivery folks are doing their best to deliver it all in a timely, orderly fashion. A: Yes, by logging into your EA account, you save your Event progress and the rewards you earn from this Event to the account. That way, if you ever need to install The Sims 4 again, you simply need to log back in to gain access to your rewards! What if I log in and don’t see the Event? A: The Deck the Palms Even starts on December 16, 2025 at 9 AM PST and ends on January 13, 2026 . Rewards must be claimed before 9 AM PST on January 13, 2026 or they will be unavailable. Please make sure you are online and logged into your EA Account. If you still do not see the Event, you may need to restart The Sims 4 or disable any UI mods you have installed. Will this Event be available to everyone? A: Yes! The free Deck the Palms Event will be available to all players from December 16, 2025 to January 13, 2025. Why am I unable to claim an unlocked reward after logging in? A: Certain rewards unlock on different days during the event, each new day that you log in while there are unlocked rewards, you will progress to the next set of rewards that are available. For example, if you start the event late, there may be several rewards that are already unlocked, but you will still need to log in daily to redeem new rewards until you are caught up to the current locked rewards. Can I still complete the Event if I start late? A: In order to get all the rewards, you will need to log in on January 4, 2026. Then, you will have access to all the previous weeks’ rewards and earn those rewards every new day that you log in until January 13, 2026. What are the Pack Exclusive Rewards and how can I earn them? A: Pack Exclusive Rewards in this Login Event are exclusive items that you can claim if you have the pack that the Reward is tied to. The rewards are: Creature Comforts Pet Hoodie (Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack) Serious Business Ticket Machine (Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack) My Big Voidcritter Child Slide (Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack) What if I don’t own the Expansion Pack? A: Players need to own the corresponding pack in order to access the rewards. You can claim the reward to your EA account before you own the pack, no worries! It will unlock for you once you have the Pack. Is there a time limit on Pack Exclusive Rewards? A: As long as you claim the reward to your EA account, there is no time limit on access to the reward, including after the Event ends! Once you own the associated pack, you can use the rewards you’ve claimed! The Sims 4 Deck the Palms Login Event will be available beginning on December 16, 2025 on EA app, Epic Games Store and Steam®, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems. Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X

The Sims In Real Life
Have you ever come across things in real life and thought, 'That's so Sims!' Mostly it happens when I'm at a restaurant with friends and my Sims brain goes DINING OUT! But I'm celebrating the holidays with my mom and sisters in the Eastern Cape (South Africa), in a quaint little coastal town. And yesterday we drove past the only vet office in town and my brain was like, 'WOW! IT'S LIKE I'M IN BRINDLETON BAY!!' Even more so when my mom and I took her little mixed breed doggy for a walk close to the beach and I took in all the scenery with the winy sandy walkways and all the seaside decor everywhere. Honestly, as of currently, the wedding pack is decent. All my sims sat down when they were supposed to and followed the itinerary, which meant the big buttons on the arch actually work. Here are some tips for a smooth wedding: A wedding venue WILL have strangers walking in. As the Wedding Venue doesn't seem to have a Lock for Event goers only, the best thing to do is to abuse the "Kick out of Wedding Event" incessantly and the only thing left will be your guests. DO NOT invite toddlers or infants. Toddlers have nowhere to sit and will disrupt the wedding. It is best that they unfortunately stay out. Abuse the Make Needs Happy button (Fulfil needs cheat). Every 5 hours, I will pause the game and do it to ALL my guests including the bride and the groom. This will prevent anyone from dying in the game or peeing all over. The best thing to ensure the cake does not go bad is by buying an hour before the wedding and remembering to set it as cake in Wedding right before. If you download a wedding venue from the gallery, make sure routing is okay before you proceed to hold your ceremony. The last issue is something I find a little difficult to solve. As you CANNOT force change outfit through cheats of other sims not played by you (No mods), the outfit aspect is a HUGE gamble. Thankfully, my Sims looked decent for their friends' Chinese wedding but this is definitely something I hope Maxis adds in, as we can't really select the outfits for each guest (unfortunately).
Fire Count . . .
Just for grins and giggles, I decided to go through my updates and count just how many times a fire has broken out at Erik Cantrell's home. I made a list: Cantrell: The Early Years, Part Six "Celebration Gone Awry" Update-1 Cantrell: The Middle Years, Part One" "But the Naturopath Said . . ." Update-12 "Balancing Act" Update-14 "Stuck On the Dark Side of the Moon" Update-16 Cantrell: The Middle Years, Part Two "When the Year Ends With a Bang" Update-1 "Putting on a Brave Face" Update-3 "Under Fire" Update- 8 (This is a twofer, as in two fires in the same update. Yikes) I haven't written up the next update, but yeah, it's got a fire in it, too. I think my Erik Cantrell family is having a serious streak of bad luck, wouldn't you? Please list a count of how many fires your main Sim family has encountered. It's okay if you don't list any titled updates, I'm aware not everybody shares a story. I just want to know I'm not alone in this. Merry Christmas! Oh, and if you wish to add pictures, be my guest. I just don't have time at the moment to look mine up. I don't know if anyone else gets these, but today's showed my Sim, Erik Cantrell, ranting at Dustin Broke at the Starlight Accolades. Erik was clearly on the stage accepting his award, and I took the photo from behind Erik. I have no clear recollection of this, but I'm now finding it hilarious. Apparently, this was from December 18, 2024. The look on his wife's face is priceless. Please share any of your Memories from the Cloud, if you get them. I can't wait to see them, the funnier, the better.
