What happened in your game today, by ONE picture?
This thread was migrated from AHQ 😊 This is a mix of two popular threads in Vanilla forums. "What happened in your game today" and "Post the last screenshot" To avoid confusion, and to clarify a bit. For this thread and this one here, can co-exist , regarding multiple pics, you can post more than one per day in here too, just fine, but please try to keep some time (few hours, about) , between them 😊 If you need to post multiple pics in short time, then, please use the other thread, thank you 🤗 And heh, have to mention, if you are in the mood of posting like 50+ pictures in several times a day , then this is for you, as no limits whatsoever 🤣Teens! Share Your Gameplay and Discoveries
Our teens deal with a mixture of emotional, social, and practical challenges as they grow into young adulthood. It's not easy being a teen in the Sims 4. They struggle to assert their independence while still relying on their parents, There's the exhilaration of a first crush, often followed by the anguish of heartbreak. They're studying to get good grades and get into a good University. Some have part time jobs to help save for University. They're busy trying to keep their grades up in order to qualify for scholarships, while also dealing with social clubs and other extracurricular activities. So share with us as your teen sims navigate this last life stage before reaching young adulthood.
What happened in your game today?
Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today. I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here. So what's happened in your game today? Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!). I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works! Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X
Townie Fashion Police
Sul sul, Simmers. Townie Fashion Police was one of my favorite threads in the "old forum." It was always good for a few laughs. Z and I think it's time to bring it back, and so does our friend Daniel. When your festival attire is more outlandish than that of the cosplayer you're sitting with, that's a job for the Townie Fashion Police. "What did I do to deserve this?" Daniel asks the camera. At least he has a tasty cheeseburger to enjoy.
Seasons: Summer Holiday Ideas?
I recently added Seasons to my game, and I'm currently finishing up my Sims' first spring. (Love Day was yesterday.) I plan to play a full "year" (a 28-day spring-summer-autumn-winter cycle) with the default holidays before I start adding/editing holidays, but I can already tell that I'll want to add a summer holiday. I'm thinking of ending up with 1 or 2 holidays per season, and there is no default holiday in summer. When I think of (admittedly USA-centric) summer holidays, I think of Memorial Day starting the summer, Independence Day in the middle of summer, and Labor Day at the end of summer. There are lots of red-white-and-blue decorations, lots of food cooked outdoors (ranging from hot dogs to fall-off-the-bone BBQ), lots of people (friends and family), and lots of outdoor activities. So here is a rough idea of what my summer holiday might look like: Patriotic Day Decoration Theme: None (although a red-white-and-blue theme would be nice) Traditions: Bar-B-Que, Fireworks, Invite Guests, Water Fun Season: Summer (of course) Day Off: Yes (I'm thinking of adding this to some of the default holidays as well) There is room for one more tradition, and possibilities include Art & Music Spirit (think marching bands, parades, and summer concerts that culminate in a fireworks display), Attend Holiday Ceremony (mostly the Memorial Day ceremonies my scout troop participated in), Decorate (but there is no red-white-and-blue decoration theme), Drinking (lemonade, iced tea, beer, Arnold Palmers, shandies, etc.), Fire (my family reunions on Independence Day usually included a bonfire), Party Spirit, Remembrance (again, mostly the Memorial Day ceremonies), and Tell Stories (about the people who made SimNation great). Any thoughts, suggestions, or comments?
What Are Your Merfolk Doing Today 2.0
Since the old thread has multiple broken links and things are different here. I decided to create a 2.0 version of the old thread I created. I thought I would create this thread as a variant of the “What happened in Your Game Today?” thread. Serial and non-serial updates are welcome. Any mermadic discoveries in the Sims are more than welcome, including discoveries while using mods. Let's give our MerSims the spotlight here! Tips for what to share: The Only Rules: Keep the updates focused on merfolk! Denizens of the sea like Cecelia, Kelpies, and other variations of ocean dwellers are welcome here.Infants & Toddlers! Funny pics
Do you ever capture pictures from fun or awkward situations in your game? Often my sims will make me smile just because they did position weirdly, making a totally normal situation look funny. - Hello again, Hairdresser, I got a complaint! Your solution turned out to be unpractical. Are you sure I can't have a ponytail, without the horse? The Sims On Social Media
Some of you may recall I started the Sim Gurus On Twitter thread in 2018 and passed the torch to Duvelina in 2020. She has informed me that she hasn't been including tweets from the official The Sims Twitter (X) so I thought I'd start a thread for info from The Sims. Twitter (X), Facebook, and Instagram. Also info from EA when it relates to TS4. If you're interested you can also check out my announcement threads for The Sims Freeplay. What gameplay/feature systems do you enjoy the most in The Sims 4?
There's many different systems/features in The Sims 4, these can range from the Club System, to Residential Rentals or even Lot Challenges. What systems do you like the most and why? (Feel free to add screenshots of you using these systems) For me I really enjoy using the Simple Living Lot Challenge, Small Business Residential/Venue and building Residential Rental Units. 🤗
