Sims Game not responding to PlayStation controller
The Sims 4 game randomly stops responding to my PlayStation controller. I have tried restarting the game and I have hooked up a keyboard and mouse and unhooked it and went back to the controller and it did it again. It's been happening every since the last update. I know it's not my controller because it works just fine with my other games on my console.Expansion packs
Hi all. I downloaded sims 4 on a ps4, then upgraded to a ps5. I bought quite a few expansion packs on the ps5. However, I was burgled yesterday and they stole my ps5. I still have my ps4, and when I’ve tried to revert everything back to that, all the expansion backs are not installed with no way to install them. I’ve contacted PlayStation and they weren’t able to help so they’ve escalated it. I was just hoping someone on here knew how to fix it. I’ve tried reinstalling it but nothing helps.Game not launching
Xbox series S, not only am I having the reported controller issues. Now my game won’t launch at all. I’ve tried online, offline, restarting my Xbox. Nothing is working. the main screen loads but nothing changes after that. After about 30-45 seconds has passed I get a “please try again the sims 4 took too long to start.” And I get kicked to my Xbox Home Screen. I’ve seen you ask on other threads, I’m in the USA.Game not saving/deleting save files/ lots disappearing
Hello, I wanted to report a bug on my console which is an Xbox. I started noticing this on the 6th of August, I thought it was because of the update but I do get updates later in the day so I honestly do not know what could be the cause. Onto the problem. It started with the game not saving at all and then when I would launch the game after, the last save file I was in and couldn't save, completely disappeared. Then it stopped for a while and I could save again so I created copies of the old save files and wanted to save the lots so I could transfer them to a new save but it was impossible and I got the error message. Overall, I thought my savefiles got corrupted and so I created a new one and started working on it. For two days, it was working and I was glad. But then two days ago, it started again and this time on the new ones. Could not save at all and disappearing when launching afterwards. After a while, I gave up and just wanted to try lots and the lots would appear fine when I was on it but when I go back to Manage worlds, they do not appear and I got an image of a llama in the middle of my screen (I'll try to put a picture). So here is my issue. I can still go the gallery and the main menu is fine but it's impossible for me to play so I thought I would report it and see if there could be a solution. Thank you for reading
Game not saving on Xbox One and Series S
Most of the time the game saves. But it has been happening more frequently. I go save and it takes me straight back to the main menu. No error code. If I do it multiple times it freezes the game. I have to exit and reload and usually after that it fixes itself. Until it decides it doesn't want to save again. I even tried waiting 30 minutes to see if it just need time and nothing. I don't know what to do. I've lost over a dozen hours of game play because of this, it's been happening for months and every time there's and update, I think it's going to fix it. I save every hour, usually. I've now started to try to save every 30 minutes. Multiple times I forgot to save for 2+hours because I was so into the game. I thought the autosave feature would work in "manage worlds" but it doesn't. I think that would be a great feature.Can't upload my plots to my library
Hey, For 4 days I can't upload my plots to my library. My internet is connected to my ps4, it's not the fastest, but I play Dead by daylight and Genshin Impact with the same internet with almost zero problems. I can access the gallery without a problem, the store of my ps4 isn't full or about to be and I deleted and re-uploaded the game, nothing changed. I've almost all DLC's (I know this causes problems) and the updates, well, are updated. Does anyone has an idea what I could do next? Cuz I can't really play like this. Thanks in advance
CAS bug
When I try to make a new game or even use an existing sim I cannot change any of their features. To be more specific when I try to start a new game and I go to click on their face it zooms in and nothing shows up. No presets for eyes, nose or mouth, nothing. I can move them around and every now and then the magnifying glass to the left will pop up to go into the more detailed shaping. Same with clothes, if I click on their chest or legs no clothing options show up. Unsure if there is any issues in the building mode that would be similar I haven’t gotten to play the game. So unfortunate I just bought a $40 expansion pack without knowing there was a bug making the game unplayable.
Just walks away
I can't play a sim on Xbox x.ive had this sim along time and is maxed out but game won't let me use him in any new games. I can go to Cas. And use him there but, after moving to New world he disappears by walking away.i can't control him.i can't edit him for being a family member either. Plus Cas says 504 items this player owns huh? I'm on Xbox x so there's no files. Whose problem is this. It happened after I got Ranch life dlc. Plus it happened. After I deleted um reaper world. Please fix this.
