Academic Interest Bugged
Hi, I was exploring the area I currently have all of the npc party members I could have. I did all the red crystals and then decided to do all the remaining puzzles in the area before going and fighting whatever demon that was speaking to me. And now there's a blue barrier up but Neve nor any of my other characters can unlock it. I've looked at others gameplay and there's supposed to be a spot above the door to unlock it. And it's missing. Any advice?
Path Of Sighs - Collecting Bones
I have tried to complete this 1 part to get all the chests and I cannot interact with the coffin once I have collected all the bones. I have video to prove this but it won't let me place the bones once I have collected them all. I have gone back to the main menu, and restarted and closed the game and continued, And also uninstall the game and reinstall the game All 3 options won't allow me to complete this particular puzzle. PS5Appearance changed
When I started the game back up I was suddenly headless and then when I tried to fix it, like fast traveling my saved character became someone else, like I went from an elf to a quanari. It was in dock town and I saved at the spillway last night, I was doing the demon quest that's over there. I was lucky enough to just have to go back to a different auto save. I play on Xbox.
Bug - Quiver Appearance Not Changed When Applying a Bow Appearance via Wardrobe
Greetings The intent of this post is to bring to attention a rather jarring visual bug present in the game. Others have posted regarding this. I have attached links to their posts. Quiver appearance | EA Forums - 5022933 Quiver Appearance | EA Forums - 5024671 The visual appearance of arrow quivers does not change when applying a bow appearance via the wardrobe feature, often resulting in mis-matched armaments, e.g. an elven looking bow with an Antivan looking quiver. Due to this bug, quivers that belong to bows that only exist as appearances are never seen in game. The only cases where quiver appearances are correctly applied via the wardrobe and match their respective bow, are when using the "Bow of the Fallen Kingdom" from the Deluxe Edition, and the promotional "Watchful Bow". I hope this bug can be addressed. Cheers.
EA App not recognising content
I pre ordered the deluxe edition of dragon age veil guard and downloaded the weapons offer. When playing the game it is all locked as if it doesn’t appear to be registering the content. I have recently been gifted the deluxe edition on Steam and all of the content is unlocked and able to be used in the game therefore the issue must be an EA App issue rather than a game/ user issue. This has been going on for 8 months with no resolution, please can it be resolved so the content I paid for can be used.[PS5] Missing Save Data
Just loaded up my game and saw that several save files were missing, and my main save file regressed to a previous date. I was at level 47 and just finished my second-to-last “Hero of the Veilguard” mission. Now, my latest save file is for level 42 from four days ago and I only have only one “Hero of the Veilguard” complete in that file. That’s two or three story missions and five or so completed character side-arcs that have just vanished into thin air. Frankly, with the way this stuff works, I have zero hope or expectation of retrieving my files. I don’t know if I have the energy to push through all that again. It was a lot of progress. I’m seeing posts about similar issues from several months ago. Have there been any updates on this error/bug?Gameplay-Breaking Bug
There is a combat-breaking bug involving the lock-on mechanic that affects a number of popular abilities such as ice blast, rain of decay, meteor, corrupting ground and others (Seems to be linked to AOE abilities). If you use the lock-on mechanic on a target, switch to a new target, and then use one of the abilities previously mentioned, then instead of attacking your current target that you are locked onto, you will use the ability on the last target you switched from instead of your current target. Sometimes if your previous target has already died, then you will end up using your ability on the location where they died, but no current enemy is located, wasting mana and your cooldown. It has a great negative impact on combat and I wanted to know if it was possible for this to be patched?''The Dodgy Recruit'' Armor Appearance Consistently Missing from the Wardrobe.
Greetings. During the quest "Blood of Arlathan", Rook and the team wear disguises. Rook's disguise changes based on their class. At the end of the quest, the relevant disguise is supposed to be awarded to the player as an appearance to be applied in the wardrobe. The rogue variant of the disguise, called "The Dodgy Recruit", appears to be bugged and can't be applied. When completing "Blood of Arlathan", the game's UI displays the armor as a reward for completing the quest, however it is impossible to apply the armor appearance, as its icon is not present in the Wardrobe UI. This bug has existed for some time - possibly since the launch of the game - and is present for every new rogue character created. I have seen others post regarding this issue in this forum and others. I hope that the bug can be fixed. Thanks.
Playing on PS5 with DualSense Edge and R1 isn’t working
I went to check controller mapping and R1 doesn’t work in the menu systems and it won’t even allow me to assign it to another command. I’m stuck in the game because I cannot open the menu to do tinkering. I have closed the game and reopened it and my PS5 and the DualSense Edge controller are up to date on firmware.
Broken achievement as shadows fall ps5
Hello, So i finish the game but the achievement for part 11 didn’t pop for me, since it’s automatic it’s kinda annoying, it’s the only one i miss for the platinum. Does anyone know a solution or their is not way to fix that ? i try reloading a save and tomorrow im gonna try deleting the game then reinstalling and then load a save Thanks in advance 🙏🏻Steam Deck controller disconnects on sleep mode
I recently started playing Dragon Age The Veilguard again and have been having trouble with getting a message that my controller disconnected whenever I put my steam deck in sleep mode. If I’m in the game after turning the steam deck back on it brings up a message saying “Controller Disconnected Your controller was disconnected. Reconnect and press A to continue”. When I try to press A nothing happens and I have to restart the game. If I enter sleep mode on the main menu no message comes up but no buttons work. When I last played the game in January this didn’t happen. I don’t know if this is a steam deck issue or a Dragon Age issue. What I’ve tried to fix it: Making sure my steam deck and Dragon Age are up to date. Disabling steam inputs under properties, controller. Changing my OS update channel to preview. Plugging in a switch controller and trying to press A on it. Plugging in a switch controller and unplugging it after getting the message then trying the steam deck controls. Doing the same as the switch controller but with a keyboard.
Wrong Inquisitior entirely
Playing on PS5. I imported my Inquisitor Lavellan from my first playthrough then imported a Rook from the character creator, and triple checked thay my Inquisitor stayed the same before I started playing the game. I finally got to the scene where you meet the Inquisitor for the first time, and a female Cadash walked out instead. Morrigan still used he/him pronouns and Lace still introduced him as Inquisitor Lavellan, and he still talks with the same voice, he just is a female Cadash. I've never made a dwarf Inquisitor so I don't know if she's a cadash default or not. I tried reloading a save before the cutscene, and closing and restarting the game, and the same female Cadash comes out. I'm so confused how this happened.Necropolis Defender Upgrade Bug
So I’ve got the Neceopolis Defender from the chest in the mission where you get Emmrich, I finished Pinacle of its kind mission and finished Desperate in Dock Town as well, I’ve got the upgrade for the shield in Desperate in Dock Town but didn’t get the one from beating the formless one in Dock Town in Pinacle of its kind, it’s there anything I’ve missed? Because I’ve googled everywhere and I’m certain I must have 3 upgrades already but my Necropolis Defender is only rare level, has this happened to anyone else?
Snake Nest Quest Bug
The snake nest quest will not add itself to my journal when I speak to the woman. When I leave the area the quest mark will reappear in Dock Town. I’ve read around and it does seem like some ppl have issues with this quest but none of them have been the same issue as I’ve got here
Serious bug report
In the character page there's a bug displaying weapons on the character, for example my mage character every time after first click into this page, it will display both weapons(mageknife and stave) on her body, but after I switched to any other section using R1 or L1 on my controller then switch back, it will only display one weapon, and there's no any option to toggle the display of these weapons in anywhere, I think it's a serious bug to be considered fixed And need to consider adding option to toggle different weapon preview on a character in the wardrobe page, in the wardrobe page it always only display how only one weapon looks like when equipped on the body not in hand, no any option to see how the other one will look like when equipped on the body Another advice can you put "Hide tooltips" in the character page by default off instead on? Then after click into a specific weapon or equipment by default it is on? Because on the main page of the "character" page if by default turned on will some kind of block the vision
Steam Achievement Not Firing
I ran into an issue at launch with an achievement not firing after the requirements were met. I contacted Customer Support and was told it was a known issue without a solution. I tried again to get the achievement to work today with no luck. I contacted Support again and was told there was no known solution and to make a post in these forums for documentation. (Point of order; I found multiple posts across several forums dated back to release day. This is not a new issue or one that should be unknown to Support) [inserted image: screencap of my steam achievement log showing 'Part 6....' unscored despite 'Part 7..." being unlocked.] Troubleshooting so far: reloading and re-finishing the relevant quests. playing through the quests with a new character re-installing after patches (On a less technical note, this the only achievement I haven't unlocked which is quite irritating. )Visual Issue - Missing Water Splash Visual Effect
Hello, I have noticed a small visual error/bug/glitch in the game. When Rook is in a body of water and jumps on the spot, no splash effect is displayed when landing. What is displayed, strangely, is an incorrect dirt/dust spray effect. To clarify, one has to keep the character still. The issue is only present when jumping on the spot in water. Walking in water displays the correct effect. Best.Veilguard, series x installation stops
I have had a search and can see this came up a lot, but no real fix. Does anybody know how to fix the game from stopping installation at 5% from disc 1. Keeps saying check disc, nothing wrong with disc. I've tried everything, I also tried a different game and that's fine. It's just Veilguard. Please help!
