Can't heal since last patch
Since the last patch my health bar has been going lower and lower and lower. No potions work, no heals from companions work, even if I change zones/locations or log in and out my health bar will stay as it was. I cant receive any healing anymore. The game is now unplayable on any mode besides storytelling. I have had to change all my companions gear to revival charges so I can get them to resurrect me over and over again due to no healing within the game working. This has been going on for 3 days now. And this is a game breaking bug which needs to be fixed asap Can I please get some feedback to what is the problem? and the delay on fixing it?Locked out of The Labs Below?
Hey all, wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I've seen a bunch of other issues with Regrets of the Dreadwolf questline but not this specifically. In the early stages of the game I went to do the Labs Below and my game crashed right after the first dialogue outside the door, it was late so I just went to bed and picked up the game the next day but didn't try going back down (I respawned at the marker, not in the quest so I did some other stuff instead). I've tried going back to finish the quest multiple times but it won't let me progress past the very first door after you slide down the entrance. Is there anything at all I can do besides reloading to an earlier save? I'm 83 hours into my first run at this point.... 😭
Rally Party Turns Bellara into a walking Sun
With the Reborn Leathers armor from completing Bellara's companion quest equipped, gaining the Rally Party buff will turn Bellara into a walking Sun. It twinkles when she or your camera are moving with her on screen and is kind of blinding because bloom will fill the screen. It's pretty funny at least.
Shathann always refers to Rook as a man
In Taash's quest Fire on the Sands, at the end when you meet Shathann she comments that it's unusual for Taash to be interested in men. The first Rook I played was male so this was fine, but the second time I made a nonbinary Rook with a masculine body and voice and got the same line. This struck me as odd, but it could make sense if Shathann isn't familiar with nonbinary people at this point. It suited the character so it didn't really bother me. For my third playthrough however, I made another nonbinary Rook, this time with a feminine body and voice. I just finished that quest and the same line triggered. I haven't played as a female Rook so I don't know what she says in that situation, but it seems like she's flagged to always comment on Rook being a man if they aren't specifically a woman. ETA: It sounds like this dialogue triggers when Rook is a woman as well, so it's just straight up bugged.
Rook stuck at level 1
I played about 10-12 hours at launch and got to around level 10, I think. I stopped playing and started it back up again today to find my Rook at level 1 (still have my skills) and the xp saying something like 16,000 \ 0. I can no longer level or gain skill points and I am going to have to restart the game from the beginning. I'm guessing a combination of the patches did something (maybe connected to me not playing in between the patches?). I'm glad I wasn't super far in, but it will be fairly tedious to go through all of this again.
Rook has one eye that points inwards
This has happened on all Rook's I've made so far. Their right eye (on the left as we look at them) always points inwards, so only the left eye (on the right as we look at them) looks directly forwards. Presumably a problem with the model and eye tracking? I've noticed it in other people's screenshots of their Rooks too. I've only made elves so far, I don't know if it's restricted to only their models.
Progression blocked in Regrets of the Dread Wolf
I've hit what I think is a bug in the Regrets of the Dread Wolf quest, in the memory you enter in the north part of the Mountainside Eluvians area of the Crossroads. I think what caused it was entering the area without progressing very far down the tunnel you drop into, deciding I didn't want to do it at that point and quitting the game. This was many gameplay hours ago though so I can't be sure. The issue is that nothing seems to spawn in the mission and I'm unable to break the first door blocked by stones you come across (Pic1 in attachments). I don't know if there's supposed to be an explosive barrel or ballista around to get through the doorway but nothing appears in the area. It's possible to bypass the door by jumping at the right side of the door from the ledge on the right and progress further into the area. I can reach the area with the burning tree and the ballista on the upper floor and break through the next stone-blocked door (Pic2), but in the courtyard beyond all I get are some explosion effects and no way to progress through the next door. No enemies spawn at any point following the above steps (Pic3). I'm playing the game on the EA App and am on V.1394942 according to Settings > Other. During the fight against Ghil, I'd chosen Davrin to lead the other party. Afterwards, I got a notification about codex updates, and when I checked, there was a note from Bellara about Harding, implying she had been the one to die. I assume I was meant to get a note about Davrin instead? Looks like the Harding death note is flagged for either companions death in the Ghil fight, but Davrin's isn't.
Executioner’s Plume glows!
I’ve found a strange bug that makes the appearance piece Executioner’s Plume glow when Harding touches you in certain cutscenes. For added clarity, my run has Rook in a romance with her, and can confirm in the quest ‘The Bond Rekindled’ Rook’s outfit glows bright during the kiss and experiencing mild lyrium poisoning. It happens again in ‘The Heart of the Titan’ when Rook absorbs all the lyrium and the outfit hilariously shines brighter than anything else in the scene. I don’t know if this occurs with other appearance outfits (I tested it with Hunting Plumage and didn’t experience any issues), and as funny as it can be, it kind of ruins my recordings and it sucks that my favorite outfit shines brighter than the sun. It’s late as I write this, so if anyone wants a screencap of the shine, please respond.
Menu low fps
After the latest patch (Patch 3) while out exploring im regularly at 120 fps in most places in the world but whenever I go into menus my fps drops substantially to like 20-30 fps and its quite jarring. Im not sure what can cause this. I have noticed this tends to happen mostly whenever you make some kind of change be it party members or even just switching the appearance of things in the menu via the appearance on/off toggles. My best guess is this happens because of some kind of delayed asset loading thing cause if you switch it in the menu and you back out it shows up as you having an invisible weapon for example if you changed appearance of the weapon. then when you sheath weapons and wait for a few seconds after your new weapon appears then after another 30 seconds or so you go back into the menu frames go back up to where they should. That is just one instance that I noticed this happening in. Usually the main one that I can remember.
DATV: Inquisitor Appearance Gone Wrong
I'm on my second playthrough and I just got to the part where you get see your Inquisitor for the first time in the Cobbled Swan and mine is looking...verydifferent than how I remember her when I saved her appearance in the character creator. Unfortunately, I don't have a screenshot of what she looked like after I finished customizing her in DATV, but I have some from Inquisition! Trophies not unlocking.
I just got to the point of no return and realized that two of the trophies that i should have didn't unlock. "Call for coin and company" and "Bringing down the sky" did not unlock like they were suppose to. I cleared all of the quests, maxed out all of the factions, and killed all the high dragons but I still did not get them.Strand Hair causes hair to become transparent vertical lines at certain angles
This occurs fairly often in cutscenes for me. It does not happen all the time. It appears that at certain angles or certain distance from the camera, Strand Hair causes vertical lines to appear in the hair. These lines show whatever is behind the hair. I’m stuck at the part of blood of arlathan where the companions are opening the gate for you. The enemies never appear when prompted to defend the area. I have already beat the first set and tried the gate and broken the scaffolding and then nothing happens. I’ve restarted the game, my pc, reloaded from different saves and nothing has fixed it. Anyone have a solution or also has this problem?
