Dragon Age: Veilguard Crashes within a minute
Just got the game on steam. It loads up, then goes into the settings selection menu. Within a few seconds, it freezes and crashes. I tried speeding through the settings, reducing graphics from Ultra to High, same thing. Graphics card (NVIDIA 4090) and Windows is already updated.
Crackling sound making it unplayable
Title screen, Varric doing his monologue and character creation all play sound with no problem but the second I got to the first cutscene with my rook and then into Mintrathous the sound is constantly crackling and cutting out. Have tried every possible audio setting in game and updated drivers. (On windows 10)
Lucanis ACT 1 Companion Quest is Bugged: Bidding Farewell
So I do want to say I have had to start over, I was 30 hours into my first save, because I missed a companion quest and realize they are important for late game. So I decided to just start over. I’ve been looking into how to romance characters and keeping them alive while trying to stay as spoiler free as possible, but did see about how the choice for Minrathos and Treviso can cause bothe Lucanis and Neve to harden depending on which you choose. I chose Treviso in my first playthrough and plan to do it on my second because A, I decided to pick being a Crow as a background and B, I wanted to Romance Lucanis. People were saying that if you didn’t pick Treviso it would lock you out but now that I’m back and doing his first couple of companion quests, I realized something. The Bidding Farewell Companion Quest does NOT trigger as complete. So essentially not only does it lock you of of the Hero status for end game, but I also think it locks you out of the romance as well. Can anyone confirm to me whether this quest is complete for them? It’s the quest where you go to the little get together for the first Talon. I also checked my old save file and it isn’t marked as a Completed Quest there either.Lucanis romance bug after Act 1 decision
Because it's DEFINITELY a bug that lucanis is perma-locked out of romance if you don't save Treviso, while you get to still romance neve eventually for the EQUAL and opposite decision? Especially while not telling us so, with text simply saying that growing the relationship will progress slower after being hardened (the SAME thing it says for neve's romance, which is still possible while lucanis' isn't as far as anyone has been able to discover) EA wouldn't punish one of the romance options that would be predominantly chosen by women while most male players get to save a city AND get the girl. As well as having a romance that completely locks you out of the best ending if you pursue it, when NO OTHER companion romance is tethered to a big plot decision like that.
Character appearance resets after loading a save
This problem started when I first started playing the game. For some reason, if I try to load an old save, it seems like there a 2/3 chance of it loading in a standard default character appearance. On trialling it, sometimes quitting the game and reloading the most recent save works, but any older saves revert the appearance. There also still a chance of it happening even on the most recent save. I can take screenshots if necessary. I'm playing the game from Steam, if that helps make things clearer.Dragon Age Veilguard PC crash
My DA Veilguard keeps crashing and is practically unplayable. I have tried everything I can think of but nothing seems to work. It took me three seperate tries to get through character creation before my monitor went black and my PC wouldn't turn off. Each time this happens I have to switch it off by the mains because nothing else works. All drivers are up to date Windows is fully updated Antivirus software is operating well Updated BiOS Verified integrity of game files Set game to run as administrator Reconfigured preferred setting in NVIDIA control panel Deleted shaders in local files Soft reboot my PC Cleared cache and flushed DNS I am at a loss.Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Last Rites BUGS on XBOX
I destroyed all the crystals and barriers and I can see the note that I have to pick up next to the dead Venatori in front of the double doors. Supposedly there is a Crystal on the Door that I am to destroy, but through the enclosed area is says to search in the are no lit up crystals for me to destroy on any of the Doors within the area
