Linking son's account to my parental account
Linking my son's account to mine. My son is unable to login to his EA Play account from his Xbox game pass for PC account. When trying to login, it takes him to the app but everything is blank. When I log out and back in, it says it sent an email to my email address (address is correct) but I don't get the emails. Not in my spam folder either. I can login to my EA Play account, I get verification emails fine, just not getting his. If I "Resend the verification email" it says the email isn't verified. - Changed the parental email address - no emails to that address either - Changed back to original email - no emails sent - Spent an hour going in circles with the online EA Help agent (Dhruv) - After they couldn't get me successfully logged in, they told me to clear my IE cache (even after I told them I'm not using IE, they kept just sending links to IE troubleshooting steps)...Eventually they told me to "return after 90 min due to some glitch we face issue with verification codes" - Tried logging in to sons account with his EA ID and password - wouldn't accept the password - Reset the password - still unable to login - Agent asked me to login with his EA ID and my parental account password - same result Since I'm currently in a loop with the agent simply telling me to wait 90 min, is there anything else that might actually fix this?644Views0likes6CommentsGame Play
After 10 years I've become dicouraged with the games and challenges. It's gotten to where I can no longer complete challenges beause they are too difficult. For example, Solitaire Home Story. I have to do 18 streaks in black only if I want to get to the next challenege. I'm tired of trying over and over again. I’ve been trying to subscribe to EA Play Pro for days now and EA just won’t let me. First, I couldn’t even link my credit card for 3 days straight. When I finally got that sorted and tried to purchase the subscription, I got this error: "That didn’t work, let’s try again. If the problem persists you may want to use a different payment method or try again later." Well, the problem definitely persists. I’ve tried multiple times, waited, retried — same thing every time. I contacted EA support twice already, and absolutely nothing has been done to fix this. I just want to pay for the subscription and play, but EA’s system won’t even let me give them money. Please comment so this gets enough traction that those who can help sees it. I honestly can’t believe I’m having to post this, but EA support says this is my last resort option. TLDR: EA overcharged me for an annual EA Play pro subscription, when I tried to get help and request a refund my EA Play pro subscription they CANCELED my membership. They are refusing to refund my money or reactivate my subscription as the underlying structure of the support tools won't allow them to override it and give me a refund. Paid $167.99 and have no subscription for the year either. On Nov 20, I bought an EA Play membership. Price listed: $149.99 CAD. PayPal showed: $149.99 pending. Everything looked normal. Then the charge finalized… and EA took $167.99 CAD. So I did what any reasonable person would do: I contacted support immediately — same day, within hours — to report the overcharge. And EA’s response? ✅ They canceled my membership ✅ They kept all of my money ❌ No refund ❌ No EA PLAY subscription ❌ No accountability They essential stole my money as I don't have a subscription, OR my money. I have reached out through email and to the EA help advisors. Every agent I’ve spoken to says they want to help but “can’t” because I’m “outside the refund window.” Except I wasn't. I reached out by email the moment the charge went wrong, but somehow a case number was not created. So EA overcharged me… Then removed the service I paid for… Then kept every dollar… And now hides behind a scripted policy instead of fixing their own billing error. How is this acceptable? I’ve been polite. I’ve provided proof. I’ve explained the timeline over and over. And EA still refuses to refund me or restore the membership they canceled. So I’m posting this publicly because private support channels have completely failed me. I have met a few nice agents who agree with my case but because it is unique they can't help even though they want to because of the "underlying structure of the support tools". There is no way to manually override things, so I'm left paying $167.99 for nothing as I have no access to the subscription now even though it should be valid for nearly a year! Because right now, it feels like EA can take your money, cancel your service, and then shrug and say “policy.” And that should worry every EA customer. Has anyone else had EA overcharge them or cancel a membership and then refuse to fix it? How did you get it resolved? How do I get my money back, or at least get my EA Play subscription back? Today 16.12. unexpectedly my membership had renewed on its own and I had to pay for it. Last time I played something on EA was BF6 so about less than 2 months ago. I just recently bought gamepass ultimate and as yall know, it comes with ea play; the problem is that my games don't show up in the ea app and the website asks me to join ea play, my membership says active and it recognizes me, but the website doesn't. the app also recognizes me as an ea play user but doesn't show me my games on the library, i can only see the ea play games through xbox library. i have tried everything past users have said on this forum, disabling and enabling extension, resetting the xbox app and logging out of ea, etc., but my games still dont show up on the ea library. i filed a complaint to the support already, i hope yall can help me with this issue.Solvedgame pass expired but still active on xbox app

I bought an EA subscription. It appears in Microsoft's app, but it doesn't appear in the EA Play app. It directs me to buy it again. Also, the subscription I bought is expired.
