Thank you in advance for your contributions!😁 Career Difficulty Level doesn’t work, all are very easy. I am winning 8-0 even on Ultimate Difficulty in Career Mode. Putting in no effort because it’s all so easy. Seems like the difficulty doesn’t actually change from semi pro upwards. I am playing as Chelsea which have a decidedly average team, but it’s no challenge at all. Pitch Wear in Career Mode This needs to be addressed premier league pitches look like Sunday league and it completely ruins the realistic aspect to career mode this is going on for years now please addressed Revert the Patch. (R1 Dribbling) EA, The jockey buff was expected to some extent, and that's fair. But please, revert the R1 Dribbling nerf. There's no reason to buff defending AND nerf attacking at the same time when everything was perfect. The game was perfect as it was; it just needed some fixes to the kick-offs (and corners). You got the balance wrong in this patch, and we really hope you'll get it back right. Even though community administration was full aware of this vast shortcoming and promised to send it for further investigation... So... Now, here we are. Almost a year later. A whooole new game. And still... The same, old tired, MAJOR oversight in Career Mode training: NO player can train and improve free kicks or penalties stats. Curve stat is also almost impossible to train (only certain winger roles may do it). Effectively putting the entire free kick and corner element to death during mid to long term Career Mode play throughs. For the dearest love of God... Will you please, pleeeease fix it this time?!?! I promise you this: I will NOT be buying the new game, until I know for sure that this has been positively solved. Enough is enough. I absolutely LOVED so many aspects of FC25. The new tactical setup was extremely well done. But this absurd neglect of the Career Mode community, concerning the lack of engagement from your team in spending a few hours moving a couple of dots around and give the player role training a much needed makeover, hence eliminating the entire dead ball aspect from the game for us, well, that's just an insult of the highest caliber. Authentic Gameplay - Online Friendlies Dear EA team, could you please make it possible to use the truly good "authentic gameplay" at least online in friendly matches? The "competitive mode" is simply too fast and there are far too many goals. We are an online community that values realism and not scoring as many goals as possible. Please, please, add this with a patch as soon as possible. greetings! Human Goalkeeper - Pro Clubs - The worst ever. I Play as GK on PC since 2014 in Pro Clubs mode and it's the worst update and the one that has changed the most in the history of the franchise for the goalkeeper position. I played for about 20 hours and it's terrible and frustrating for those who were expecting the improvements you promised. 1- Pressing R3 to the side at the moment of the shot or during the animation simply leaves half the goal exposed and the goalkeeper has no reaction to defend some point-blank shots on his own. 2- You have introduced things that are impossible to achieve given the server response time, especially for shots from inside the area. There's no way we can expect the guy to shoot from inside the small area and react in time to defend, since this is a video game and we depend on delay, lag, input lag, and online servers. 3- Sometimes you get everything right, positioning, R3, and even so, the ball goes in. 4- Short-range shots are very powerful, even if the offensive players are not completely up to date. 5- There are weak balls where you use a command like R3 or ball for the goalkeeper to hold the ball, and he does nothing, and the ball goes over his head. 6- The Far Reach Plus and others PS+ animation is still not activated on shots, just like in the previous game. 7- Holding down the triangle button on crosses no longer has any effect because the goalkeeper no longer goes for the ball, and when he does, he doesn't catch it. Even if you press the new “ball” button for the goalkeeper to catch the ball, sometimes he doesn't catch it. The controls simply don't work. 8- The way it was before was much less worse. Have you ever played in that position to know what it's like and how the servers respond? 9- I spent $3,000 on a powerful computer to run this new game smoothly on the Be a Pro camera, to play competitively, and look what you bring us. This is extremely discouraging. You need to fix this urgently. 10- Now human goalkeepers are worse than BOTS. Unless you are a superhuman with super reflexes and play inside EA's server, you will not be able to outperform a BOT. 11- Now all GK defensive assists are manual, regardless of whether you set the game settings to semi or assisted. Sometimes the ball passes just centimeters from the goalkeeper and he doesn't save it. 12- LT/L2 (Jockey button) does not work using the GK on PC. 13- Often you time your jump right to grab or punch the ball, but your goalkeeper still loses the aerial battle to the attacker or defender and concedes a goal. 14- I've been playing this game mode in this position for over 10 years, and this time is definitely the most frustrating and humiliating of all. Youth Academy Height Bug In the Youth Academy you can't scout Strikers taller than 6'3", this wasn't an issue prior to FC 25 and the problem is still occurring in FC 26, in fact it's honestly difficult to scout any Strikers above 6'0" in general. In the Youth Academy you should be able to scout Strikers who are 6'4"+, unfortunately we can't do that, for some strange reason it's capped at 6'3", not to mention most scouted Strikers in the academy are 5'7"'-5'9", the chances of getting Strikers within that height range is too high, and it shouldn't be the case, to reflect real life football, most scouted Strikers should be 6'1". It's extremely rare to get tall strikers in general, please fix this and patch it so we can get tall strikers on a regular basis, on previous editions of Career Mode I could scout "Physically Strong" or "Striker" and come back with Strikers who were 6'4"+, why has this changed? It's so unrealistic to scout "Target Forward" to only comeback with a bunch of Strikers who are all in the 5'7"-5'9" range, please resolve this, it's so frustrating, we should be able to scout Strikers who are 6'3"-6'6" on a regular basis; scouting CBs and DMs above 6'3" is pretty common I get a lot of them, so why can't this be the same for Strikers? Please fix this. Thanks and I hope that you listen to us Minimum Age Of Created Players Can we please lower the age of a custom created player this year. Why is the youngest you can make a character 2005? There are professional players who are born in 2009 and a balon d’or candidate born in 2007 and you’re telling me the youngest you can create a player is 2005? This is such an easy fix. Clubs Infinite Stamina The infinite stamina is an issue that entirely affects how clubs games feel and makes things too unbalanced in favor of teams with a lot of users and for pace (which already has a big advantage generally). Going back to the older system of long-term stamina drain would help a lot to make things feel normal again. Please Add 120 FPS Support for FC 26 on PS5 Hey, I really hope FC 26 brings native 120 FPS support on PS5. Console players have been waiting for this feature for a long time. If you've ever played FC on PC at 120 FPS or higher, you already know how smooth and responsive the game feels. It’s a big difference, especially during fast-paced moments. Once you get used to it, 60 FPS feels noticeably slower. PS5 is powerful enough to handle 120 FPS. A simple performance mode or toggle in the settings would be enough—even with slightly reduced resolution. It’s time for FC on PS5 to catch up with the smoothness we’ve seen on PC for years. Thanks. EA SPORTS FC™ 26 | October Feedback Update Intro We released EA SPORTS FC 26 last month and a lot’s happened since then. On our side, we released 3 title updates driven by your feedback, addressed a number of emergent issues, and we’ve been closely following your feedback through the Feedback Portal, Discord, and social media. In this article we’re covering your feedback over the past month, what we’ve done about it so far, and what we’re going to do in the future. So let’s start with your biggest feedback topic so far, defending. Table Of Contents Manual Defending Is Getting Stronger Kick-Offs Are Getting Harder To Score From In Competitive Gameplay We Tackled A Number Of Emergent Issues And Feedback You Told Us About FC 26 v1.1 Is Coming Soon Implementing Your Closed Beta Feedback Was Very Important To Us Manual Defending Is Getting Stronger What You’ve Told Us Defending against dribblers can feel too difficult, especially with their precise movements around the edge of the box, resulting in a potentially increased threat of goal-scoring chances and overly high scorelines. What We’ve Done So Far We’ve been following your feedback for weeks on this topic and wanted to make sure that we gave it time to evolve before considering any changes. FC 26 is a new game and it’s important to give you time to get familiar with its mechanics. So for the time being, we made one update in this space in FC 26 version 1.0.4: Addressed cases of players not being able to perform Physical Tackles, especially instances that occurred when the player had specific PlayStyles (eg. Bruiser). What We’re Doing Next We’re going to be making improvements to Jockeying responsiveness. You might have seen us briefly mention this on our socials and the EASFC Tracker already, but we’re looking at empowering manual defending in an update that’s being planned for the end of October. We want to give you an experience that has more of a balance between attacking and manual defending, but without compromising on the responsiveness of dribbling that you’ve told us you enjoy. While we’re on the topic of defending, let’s take a look at another change we’ll be making. Kick-Offs Are Getting Harder To Score From In Competitive Gameplay What You’ve Told Us Defenders can give too much room to attackers during kick-offs, causing an increase in potential attacking threats resulting from a kick-off. In practice, this has led to too many goals getting scored from kick-offs. What We’ve Done So Far We started updating kick-offs in v1.0.3: The defending team will now position themselves more compactly for a short period of time after a kick off. Updated positions of defending players prior to kick off for all formations. However, we’ve seen from your feedback that there’s more room for improvement here, as we mentioned on social media previously. What We’re Doing Next We’re going to be making further improvements to AI defensive positioning during kick-offs. With this update, we're planning on implementing more aggressive man marking that only applies to the defensive side around kick-off. This is in order to reduce the amount of goalscoring threats that can occur due to general kick-off positioning. Like with the Jockeying change, we’re targeting the end of October for this update. By the way, as you might have seen from FC 26 v.1.0.4, these kick-off changes are intended for Competitive gameplay. We want to ensure that Authentic gameplay continues to provide a different experience that’s more true-to-football with an emphasis on immersion. We Tackled A Number Of Emergent Issues And Feedback You Told Us About Our teams are always looking to address emergent issues and give you the best in-game experience possible, and we want to say thank you for helping us recognize and investigate new issues as they happen. Below are our updates on a number of emergent issues and feedback you’ve told us about. Matchmaking In Football Ultimate Team Champions We discovered that the first FUT Champions of the season had a matchmaking issue and we addressed it server-side as fast as we could. What happened was that the Form aspect of FUT Champs matchmaking wasn’t quite working as intended, so there was more potential skill level variety in the opponents you faced. While matchmaking is always complex and tries to give you the best available match at any given time, generally speaking we can say that you can expect to be playing with players who are in similar Form as you in FUT Champions matches. Career Mode Contract And Transfer Negotiations You’ve told us about several Manager Career issues that were impacting contract negotiations and transfers, with players seemingly communicating to managers in ways that are contradictory to their actual contracts and transfers. We’ve been addressing instances of these situations occurring across FC 26 v.1.0.3 and v1.0.4, and we’re continuing to look at your feedback for future updates For now we’ve tackled the following issues: After signing a new contract, players could have acted unhappy leading to a notification about a lack of contract offer and eventually leading to a transfer request. When a player started discussions around contract extensions, the corresponding messages were not displayed in the Central Hub. It was not always possible to interact with transfer offers for players requesting a transfer. Ultimate Team Content Over the past month we: Updated incorrect Ultimate Team Online Draft rewards. Impacted players will be contacted in-game with correct rewards. Addressed Path To Pro Objective issues affecting progression. Impacted players have been contacted in-game with correct rewards. Corrected Challengers rewards in-game before the event was live. Removed any non-functional Objectives and re-released them where possible. Impacted players have been contacted in-game with correct rewards. Addressed incorrect FUT Challengers Objectives progress. We also continue to see your feedback around Evolutions and Transfer Market volatility. We’ll share updates with you around this feedback and what we’re doing next week when we can go into more detail for you. PC Optimization And Dropped Controller Inputs We’ve seen your feedback around technical performance on PC and controllers dropping inputs. As we’ve shared in past updates, we’ve been addressing instances of these issues with just about every new version of the game. In FC 26 v1.0.3, we addressed an issue with your graphics settings being incorrectly saved, which may have impacted your overall experience at times. We continue to listen to your feedback in this space and are planning to address another batch of issues later this month. To help mitigate some of the issues on PC, we want to share more details about how your experience can be impacted. Playing FC 26 offline and online is a bit of a different experience for your PC, which is why some players only experience issues in online matches. If your PC is running the game offline close to its performance limits with no issues, but you run into online issues, this can happen because online play needs consistent performance in order for your game to stay in sync with others. The combination of online play with PC hardware that is pushing itself can result in issues occurring that you might not see otherwise. We know that on PC you want to play the game as maxed out as possible, and we see the need to create in-game indicators for when your PC is struggling to achieve your desired settings. We’ll continue to work on PC optimization with upcoming updates, and we’ll be looking to reach out to players more directly to better understand the issues you’re facing since the variety of hardware that runs our game is quite significant. In the meantime, if you’re experiencing optimization or controller issues, lowering your graphics settings a little bit can eliminate some cases of that happening. Again, we know that’s not exactly what you want to hear at this time, but it is a workaround for a number of players, and we’ll keep working on improving optimization in general. General Connectivity And General Matchmaking While the period around FC 26 launch has been fairly smooth overall, we know that there have been several situations where players were affected by connectivity and matchmaking issues. For example, there was an issue getting into the game as it launched that we addressed as fast as possible, and there was a day where many players were not able to matchmake properly. There’s even been a case of players in certain regions being affected by their ISPs preventing them from accessing the game. We’ll continue to address these emergent issues as they pop up and provide updates on them as they happen on our X and WhatsApp channels. FC 26 v1.1 Is Coming Soon We’re looking to release FC 26 v1.1 before the end of the month and include the changes we’ve mentioned throughout this article. We’ll be sharing many more details on v1.1 next week as we finish making it, but here’s a quick preview of what you can expect around the time it releases: A brand new Season, Season Pass, and more Evolutions. Improvements to manual defending and kick-offs. Ultimate Team Objective Tracking, Consumable Evolution Previews, and new SBC sorting filters. Manager Market improvements, including addressing managers switching to teams that don’t seem like a great fit. An increase to the Clubs Archetype max level. Additional PC optimizations. And much more. Implementing Your Closed Beta Feedback Was Very Important To Us Though the FC 26 Closed Beta might feel like ancient history at this point, we want to take a moment to say thank you for all the great feedback you gave us during this period. As you’ve probably noticed, much of what was included in the 3 updates we published over the past month was driven by your feedback. From tweaks to low driven shots to Be A Goalkeeper improvements, your feedback continues to help shape the game. Here are some of the improvements we made to FC 26 based on your Closed Beta feedback: [Gameplay] Low Driven Shot Effectiveness Tuned Low Driven Shots based on your feedback in the Closed Beta to be less accurate when shooting with an extreme amount of power. [Gameplay] Attacking AI Positioning Increased frequency of wingers making attacking runs into the box. Wing Backs will no longer drop too deep in their own half when their team is in possession. Improved teammate offside awareness. Addressed instances of players not making runs into open space when it could be beneficial. [Gameplay] Heavy Dribble Touches Improved cases of unexpected heavy touches when sprinting in wet weather Authentic gameplay based on your feedback. [Gameplay] AI Defender Speed Addressed some ball trapping animations were slowing down the ball carrier more than intended, making the defender chasing them feel overly quick. [Gameplay] Be A Goalkeeper Save Delay Increased responsiveness of saves. Addressed instances of the goalkeeper not facing the ball when getting up from a save. Improved timing window for requesting a save. Increased auto positioning assistance when trying to claim a cross. Outro The FC 26 launch has been massive for us, thank you so much for playing our game and continuing to give us your feedback. We’ll keep tuning into what you’re saying, and we’ll do another one of these Feedback Updates in November. FC 26 – Core Gameplay Broken by Camera Sync Issues THIS ISSUE IS NOT ONLY IN RUSH!!!! Hello EA team, This issue has been ongoing for a long time, especially since you introduced RUSH mode into the game. It may sound complicated, but this is the reality: The problem has gotten much worse since last year, due to the major changes to the pitch size, angles, zoom height (now much higher), and the dynamic camera switching in RUSH. The issue is not only inside RUSH itself, but how the camera settings now affect the general gameplay experience in all other modes like Rivals or Squad Battles. In other words, the pitch changes, dimensions, and camera focus from RUSH also influence other Ultimate Team matches. The biggest factor: the camera. This is visible in player handling, first touch, passing, turning, and body orientation – which suddenly glitch when attacking near the goal. On top of that, gameplay is clearly different when pressing the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen” button). Just like in RUSH, it switches focus from player to full pitch. The problem is that this function collides with and damages gameplay in other FUT modes, even when it’s not visually obvious – inputs and outputs change in a very noticeable way. Key observations: Passing and shooting reach: pressing the button alters reach drastically. Long passes: sometimes too short even with high power, or too long after switching focus. Short passes: can either hit a nearby opponent or suddenly fly 20 meters down the pitch. Shooting: Looks like long-distance shots (30–40m) even when standing just 15m from goal. Dribbling: The ball stays further from the foot, easier to lose. Defending: Tackling timing breaks due to “long focus” stretching the pitch. Narrow vs. Long focus: Narrow focus: more responsive short passes, tighter dribbling, tackles feel magnetic. Long focus: smoother look, faster flow, but unresponsive, with exaggerated animations. This creates imbalance: players who use the long focus gain unfair advantages (gliding movement, stronger long shots, faster pass execution). Camera setting collision (important): The collision is not only between RUSH and FUT modes – it also occurs between different in-game camera settings themselves. Switching between “Tele,” “Rush broadcast,” and others causes zoom/focus conflicts. These trigger the same gameplay inconsistencies (passing range, shooting, dribbling, tackling). Players can even meet in matches with different active camera focuses, which makes gameplay unequal. How to reproduce: Play one RUSH match on Rush Broadcast camera. Enter any FUT match (Rivals, Squad Battles, etc.). Use the camera focus button (PS5: touchpad, Xbox: “view/screen”). From here, the glitch activates permanently. Conclusion: The integration of RUSH camera logic into other modes has broken gameplay. It affects balance (passes, shots, dribbling, defending), input/output consistency, and the entire FUT experience. This issue used to be limited to RUSH/Rush Broadcast(and other rush cam's) , but now it extends further due to zoom changes, pitch dynamics, and coding mismatches (e.g., player distance vs. keeper is registered incorrectly). It’s disappointing to see such a core feature left unresolved, and I believe this has already cost EA many players who cannot accept a game that feels this inconsistent. I sincerely hope the development team investigates this as a priority. While I appreciate the effort you have put into the visuals, I like many thought this would have 60fps. Surely if a pS4 , as old as that is can handle it a Switch 2 should be fine. This feels a very rushed release. I hope you address the elephant in the room and fix /make improvements to the frame rate so Nintendo Switch 2 players get a smoother experience (which they deserve). It shouldn’t be the same frame rate as the original Switch. Nintendo players are desperate for this. Anyone else this problem? Please fix defending! Please can we either improve defending, or decrease attackers. Every match is finishing 6-5 or something stupid, it's not realistic.
