"CG_JohnSalera;50943" wrote: Hi all – I wanted to give an update on Galactic War tuning. Before I get into it, I want to reiterate that the goals of this feature continue to be: Provide a real challenge to players. In other words: it’s meant to be hard! Provide a place in the game where your entire collection can be brought to bear. Potentially every character can help you succeed. Provide a “war of attrition” where health is persisted as you progressed in battles. Provide a place where there’s an ever-evolving set of challenges in terms of which characters / parties / builds can be most effective. (As more characters are released, and as more types of builds are discovered and developed by the players, this will become increasingly true.) As you may know, we made a tuning change to Galactic War on June 15th. There were several goals of that change, and we have been monitoring in-game data and player feedback on the change. While we view that tuning update as generally successful, we were finding that it wasn’t providing enough challenge. On June 29th we made an adjustment to the June 15th tuning to make the last few nodes more challenging. (Note that this was a tweak of the June 15th tuning, and not a roll-back to the prior tuning as some players have been suggesting.) As always, we will continue to monitor the data and player feedback and determine if further tweaks to the tuning are needed. Thanks! https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/50943/recent-tweak-to-galactic-war-tuning#latest279KViews1like4409CommentsSith Raid Teams by phase
Figured we might as well all collaborate and find the teams that seem to do well in the Sith raid. My guild still hasn't made it past phase one but we have found a few teams to be useful: EDIT: Narrowing the lists down to more popular and high damaging teams. If any whales have the toons to try out my "hunches" please let me know how they do! Phase One: zVader zAsajj RJT, CLS, R2D2, BB8, Scavenger Rey Talzin-lead Nightsisters (a hunch) Phase Two: GK lead, Visas, Barriss, HY, GMY (just a hunch) Imperial Troopers RJT-lead Resistance Phoenix w/ Sabine Phase Three: Jawas (guildmate did 500k with level 80 g8) Droids w/ engineer Phase Four: If you have found some teams to be particularly useful I'll add them to the list by phase. It seems that in phase one the trick is irresistible TMR teams. I think MT NS would also be useful in phase one, seeing as they can get past protection with plague and are very good at not dying.276KViews1like168CommentsRey’s Hero Journey [Mega]
"CG_Kozispoon;d-141920" wrote: Earlier this year, Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes introduced the very first Hero’s Journey event, featuring Luke Skywalker as he first appeared on Tatooine in Star Wars™: A New Hope. Players could experience iconic events from the film and eventually unlock the next evolution of his character, Commander Luke Skywalker. It wasn’t a long time ago that we were introduced to Rey in Star Wars™: The Force Awakens. On the desert planet of Jakku, a series of events set into motion a journey that would change her life forever. Coming soon to Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes, you’ll be able to live Rey’s adventures through the Hero’s Journey special event. Experience some of her most thrilling moments as she progresses from a humble scavenger to making new allies to finding the legendary Luke Skywalker. Complete the event to unlock the next evolution of Rey and add her to your collection. To participate, players will need the scavenger version of Rey, currently available in the game. You can look forward to playing as Rey (Scavenger) in her Hero’s Journey event, in support of the worldwide theatrical release of Star Wars™: The Last Jedi this December. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes players on Android that are looking to unlock or upgrade Rey (Scavenger) can do so now by purchasing Google Play gift cards available at retail locations around the world online < >195KViews0likes1600CommentsGrand Arena Megathread
Hi Holotable Heroes, Grand Arena was recently announced in the Road Ahead and we will be posting a ton more information about it in the future. Similar to the Mods 2.0 Megathread, follow this thread for all posts and details related to the Grand Arena What is Grand Arena At the beginning of the Grand Arena Event, you’ll be matched with 7 other players from across the game who have a Galactic Power score very similar to your own. In the first round, you’ll be matched up against a random player from your group to essentially fight a mini-Territory War. You’ll then set up defenses to defend your own territories, as well as attack your opponent's territories in an attempt to overcome their defenses. You’ll earn banners for successfully attacking and defeating an opponent’s territory, as well as defending your own territory. At the end of the battle, whoever has earned the most banners will be the winner. Each round, you’ll be matched with other players who have the same win/loss record as you, and you’ll never fight the same opponent twice in a Grand Arena event. You’ll earn special rewards after each offensive battle you complete, at the end of each of the 3 rounds, and a final set of rewards at the end of the event based on your standing in the 8-player group. We’re aware that there’s some issues with players who are on android devices when trying to log into Googleplay. Namely, they can't log in at all (i.e receiving a connection error) so posting your device info and ally code will not help in this case..We’re investigating this and will report back once we have more info. * This issue is affecting iOS as well. Our team is looking into it and I've updated the title of this thread @_@ "EA_Jesse;661315" wrote: This is not server maintenance, there is an issue where players are unable to login and ours server engineers are still working to resolve this. You may see a notification when trying to log in that says there is Server Maintenance, this is due to the engineers trying to track down the cause of the login issue. UPDATE - There are incoming reports of players who have been able to access the game, but please note that work is still being done and there is a chance you will still be kicked out of the game and start receiving error codes again. We will post an additional update once permanent fixes are in place. UPDATE 02- Most players should be able to log in and have normal access to the game. Our team is working on the servers and monitoring them to ensure everything is running smoothly. We will provide additional details once we have determined what will be sent out to players due to this outage. We appreciate your patience while this is being reviewed.186KViews0likes1575Comments- 184KViews0likes656Comments
Cheater & hacker update 11/18
Greetings Heroes, We take cheating at Galaxy of Heroes very seriously and are tirelessly working to identify and remove cheaters from the game. You may have noticed or have heard that one of our investigations resulted in a mass banning. Well sit tight, cause this purge is just beginning (insert sinister laugh here.) After countless reports and over a year of investigation, we are confidently taking action on hundreds of accounts engaged in... well let’s just say they ended up on my naughty list. You no doubt are seeing some changes in your arena leader-boards as a result of this ongoing action. We are nowhere near the end of this battle. To quote the greatest rock band of all time... “We’ve only just begun...” And remember heroes, it is a direct violation of the terms of service to purchase in-game currency from third party vendors (aka if it is not in our store, it’s not legit.) Ya know, the Terms of Service bit about “...blah, blah, blah, Sell, buy, trade or otherwise transfer or offer to transfer your EA Account, any personal access to EA Services, or any EA Content associated with your EA Account, including EA Virtual Currency and other Entitlements, either within an EA Service or on a third party website, or in connection with any out-of-game transaction, unless expressly authorized by EA... blah, blah.” That bit. http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/ And per usual, if you have any questions or concerns regarding cheating or banned accounts in the game please message me directly on the forums @cg_lucifersdaddy . Carry on, and don’t forget to wash those blasters every day! LD161KViews1like527CommentsSEE definitely needs a buff!
So, SEE in my opinion seems to 100% need a buff done too him, its quite ridiculous how bad he is. Palp teams can kill him, Geo teams can kill him, Sep teams can kill him, vader teams can kill him, Imperial Troopers absolutely destroy him, and Kylo can 1 v 5 him. This doesn't feel like a galactic legend at all, specially no where near the power level of Rey and Kylo. Its arguable that even JML who definitely needs some tweaks also, is actually better off than SEE. Sure SEE does massive damage once you get the ultimate out but, that's IF you can get the ultimate out and you definitely need him for offense if you want too use it. When placed on defence, he doesn't get a chance, his entire team get wiped out almost instantly by so so many different teams. Im sure over the next week we'll see even more silly counters come to light. And despite what the videos say, you can not solo GAS with him, myself and 2 other people have tried now multiple times and clones just rip through him, so that video was clearly faked an had their mods removed on the 501st. Again, this is just me voicing my opinion, and im sure it'll trigger many people as what doesnt on the forums but, im thinking maybe give him some leadership defensive bonuses for his team at least and maybe some damage bonuses like Kylo has. Specially considering hes meant to be used with Tanks. And his ability where all Sith recover 50% protection is a bit silly considering Sith rely on Health in the game. Just my two cense on it. Please buff "both" GL's.146KViews1like4384CommentsGoogle Gift Card Promotion?

The offer varies by territory, but in most countries, there are 3 different reward tiers which depending on the value of gift cards offered in that country and the reward is Rey (Scavenger) of varying star level plus some crystals. Please refer to the signage at physical retailers or the Terms and Conditions found on the product page for online offers for the specific rewards in your country. Is this only available from physical retail locations? Can I purchase this offer online? You can purchase Google Play gift cards from participating physical retailers or purchase from many retailers online (see Google’s official list and refer to the signage at physical retailers or the Terms and Conditions found on the product page for online offers). I bought a gift card, how do I claim the reward? Most importantly, make sure you’re logged into the same account on your Android device AND inside Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes. Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device. Open the Menu and tap Redeem. Enter your gift card code. Tap Add Item on the Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes pop-up. Tap on Open when instructed by your device. When the game opens, you’ll see a text pop-up confirming that you redeemed your code. You’ll also receive a message in your game inbox that confirms you’ve received the reward and Rey will be in your Characters area, ready for you to activate. What can I do if I’ve already purchased a Gift Card from Target or Kroger? We’ve discovered an issue with cards purchased at Target and Kroger, and unfortunately it’s not allowing us to validate the code redemptions. What does this mean? It means the cards won’t work as designed. Which is not cool, and we apologize. We’re working with Google on this, and if you have one of these cards, you should pursue a refund with the original retailer. If you encounter any problems receiving a refund from the retailer, then please contact us. I was supposed to receive a 7* Rey, but I only got a 4*. What should I do? Rey unlocks at 4*. If your reward was for a higher star version of Rey, we’ve also given you the additional character shards and credits needed to promote her up to that star level. Go to your Character Selection screen, find Rey and tap the PROMOTE button in the bottom right to increase her star level. I already had Rey at 7*. What am I supposed to do with these extra shards? Excess character shards can be converted to Shard Shop currency which can be used to purchase character shards or gear. I redeemed my code, but Rey hasn’t shown up in-game. What should I do? Ensure that you’re logged into the same account on both your device and in-game. Restart the game - fully close the app and relaunch Double-check to ensure your retailer is participating (see the official list above). If your retailer is not participating, you may not get the reward. Is this only available from physical retail locations? Can I purchase this offer online? You can purchase Google Play gift cards from participating physical retailers or purchase from many retailers online (see the official list above) I purchased a gift card from a retailer online, but I haven’t received my code. What can I do? Many retailers deliver the online gift card purchases to you via email after a brief delay (sometimes up to 4 hours). Please refer to information on the retailer website, purchase confirmation or other email regarding how long to expect between purchase and delivery. Contact your retailer if you continue to have issues. How many times can I purchase this offer? Most countries have 3 different offers tiers available. You can purchase each tier a maximum of 3 times. Refer to the in-store signage or Terms and Conditions for online offers in your specific country. Can I move my reward to another account? No, the reward is tied to the account at the point you redeemed the offer.145KViews0likes1000Comments[MEGA] Road Ahead: July 2021

DEV POST UPDATE 07/26/2021 Doja and I spent most of the weekend gathering sentiment and feedback regarding the Road Ahead. Below are some of the most recurring comments we noticed, and hopefully the following responses will help clarify some of the questions and concerns you have. We also appreciate the vast majority of you separating the video format from the news contained within the message. Hopefully we can deliver more videos in the future and work toward expanding the ways we interact with the SWGoH community. Galactic Legends and non-GL counters/interactions: The community has always been excellent at puzzle-solving, theory-crafting, and finding ways to maximize the effectiveness of their rosters. The changes are meant to not only allow for more design space for powerful characters below Galactic Legends, but also to prevent situations in which a non-GL could one-shot or otherwise severely and regularly reduce the effectiveness of a Galactic Legend. As we mentioned in the video, changing characters post launch is a last resort. There needs to be a balance between how consistent a counter is and how powerful the squad they are facing is in comparison. This is not just for squads with GLs, but for any squad that is able to counter another. For a healthy balance to the meta, counters should require a similar amount of resources to the team they can beat, whether that’s mods, gear/relic level, and/or specific units. GLs require a large amount of time and resources to unlock and their place in the meta should reflect the difficulty involved in unlocking them. They are late-game units and it makes sense they would be commensurate in power and effectiveness to their status as late-game roster acquisitions that take a lot of effort to acquire. Difficulty of Events Post-Character Changes: We are reviewing existing Journey Guide events for any unintentional side effects. Our goal is to keep these events around the same level of difficulty as before. Three of the characters had specific updates to their kits to maintain the character’s utility as a high-end unit in other areas of the game, such as PvE events, etc. General Skywalker, for example, had things added to his kit because we wanted to offset the changes and make sure he remained highly effective - especially when leading a full 501st squad - in other areas of the game. Dark Trooper: We noticed some confusion surrounding Dark Trooper and wanted to clarify that DT is not getting any direct changes to its kit. Rather, the changes to Sith Eternal Emperor reduce Dark Trooper’s effectiveness in this matchup and that is why we specifically decided to return resources for Dark Trooper. Relic 9 Timing: Relic 9 is further out and will be coming to the game after the character changes are implemented, not before. We’ll share more details on R9 as it gets closer. Having said that, the character changes needed to happen before R9, otherwise the underlying issues surrounding defense being ignored would only be exasperated. Razor Crest Shards and Conquest 7: More details on obtaining Razor Crest shards will be coming soon. As far as Conquest 7 (and the concern of no August Conquest), as mentioned in the video, Conquest 7 will experience a slight delay. Three Conquests over the next three-ish months is still the plan. This should result in little to no interference with the timeline of playing through the next three Conquests and reaping the resulting rewards of your efforts there. Executor Requirements: We saw a lot of discussion surrounding the requirements for Executor and it’s place in the fleet meta. It is our intention that the Executor will be commensurate in power to the difficulty involved in acquiring it. --- I hope this response sheds some light on our perspective. We will continue to escalate your feedback to the team and be here to answer as many questions as possible.NotRealUltra4 years agoSeasoned Newcomer139KViews1like1685CommentsIn Depth 7* Chewbacca Guide
Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my post that I also made on reddit for getting 7* Chewie. Preface Before we get started, for those of you that are not yet aware, this event is very difficult. Near impossible to even get 5* Chewbacca without at least half decent gear (G9 or so) and you won't stand a chance at 6* or 7* without great gear. If you are currently panic farming Bounty Hunter characters right now in hopes to be able to get him, stop now. You won't be able to get him in time for this event unless you have the gear ready to get to at least G9-10. Take your time instead and get him the next time he comes around. Squad For all tier levels I ran zBossk (G12) lead with Boba Fett (G12), Embo (G12), Dengar (G9), and Greedo (G9). The only two which I see as being necessary are Bossk and Dengar, however, there have been reports of people who have beat it without Bossk. Bossk lead gives you the survivability necessary to survive the initial onslaught, some sustainability as well from his zeta, and a relatively easy contract that also gives more speed. Dengar is absolutely necessary because in order to have a good run, you must have Dengar gain stealth from being critted so that you can prevent R2D2 from being able to smoke screen his whole team (more on that later). On my successful tier 7 run, I killed R2 last, and I would recommend you do the same. If possible, I highly recommend using Embo since he can hit very hard and dispel buffs on his regular attack but he is not necessary. I stacked speed mod sets with pretty good overall mods but not the best either, landing around +70 to +80 additional speed. All of the enemies have very high speed so you want to get as much as you can to be able to get turns in. Link to my characters and mods: https://swgoh.gg/squads/106274/ Strategy Besides the sheer strength of the stats possessed by the enemy, the abilities and passives also make this event extremely difficult. BH relies heavily on crits, ability block, and stuns. Chewie is immune to ability block, and guard makes it so that not only can't Han and ROLO be critted or stunned, but also so that the CD on Chewies Furious Bowcaster gets reduced every time they take damage which in turn can reset the cool down of pulverize buffing them and dispelling you. You can see how this together is a hard counter to the kit available to BH. I touched on this just before, but in order to have a good run, you should look for a few things in your RNG. First is that you need Dengar to gain stealth from being critically hit (most likely by Chewies Pulverize) before R2 uses Smokescreen. Dengar's unique makes it so that if he has stealth, the enemy can't gain stealth, effectively causing R2 to waste a turn and allowing you to focus on Chewie instead. Then, in a very ideal run, you want to see that your Greedo is the one to take the stun. I got the furthest when Greedo was the one stunned because I needed my Embo to pump out damage and Bossk to get his taunt + frenzy up. My first move was from Boba, my fastest character, who would use Execute on Chewie. My reason for this and not using DFA is because it would allow Chewie to get off another furious bowcaster/pulverize a lot quicker. Chewie was always the character I went for first. Following that, Bossk taunt and then Embo throwing his helmet, giving Bossk another turn to use hunting party. On my best runs, by the time I got to use hunting party, Chewie had become the weakest character already, which would get me very close to completing my contract. After Chewie is killed, it is not over just yet, but you've made it a long way. Don't let your guard down and make sure you're still playing it safe. Now that the Guard buff is down, you are able to inflict some serious damage with a lot more safety. Your next target will be ROLO since she is the weakest overall and you don't want her to get another cast of rebel barrage off. In the meantime keep Han CC'd if possible until she dies and then prioritize him as your next target. After Han goes down, its pretty safe to say that you have the event done provided you still have 3 BH alive. Finish off Lando and then finally R2. Congrats on unlocking 7* Chewbacca. Final Notes Remember that this event is very difficult. Don't get frustrated if you're losing, even with the gear. It took me many tries and playing around with what worked best for me. You don't need all G12 characters, but it certainly helps. The same goes for optimizing mods, however, I would put around what I have (maybe a bit below) to be the minimum without needing over 200 tries. My Greedo died quickly in almost every match. It's ok to lose him early on and if you're going to lose any of them, he is probably the best one to have die. If you have his zeta, that is less true, but the other guys are more important. Finally, if you don't get him this time around its okay. There will be more chances and you will get him next time now that you are ready. I was only ready to get him because I've been farming BH for a while just because I thought they were cool. Lucky me that my "wasted" farming paid off. Aim to get him to at least 5 stars this time around and then slowly keep building up your BH squad. By the next time he comes around, Embo will be completely farmable, as well as Aurra. On top of that, the changes to the Sith Raid and all raid drops will make it even easier to do the higher tiers and get better rewards. I really hope this helps at least somebody and please don't get too frustrated. Remember, its just a game and he will be coming back again. I know it is annoying how difficult it is, but hey, at least its not another marquee. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.139KViews1like40CommentsFebruary release notes
UPDATE: This update can now be manually installed from the App Store or Google Play store. Please note however that it may take up to 24 hours for this update to appear for you. ALSO, not all of these changes will be live in game until 2/10/2016 when a forced update will put all players on the same version of the game, example being character changes. ____________________________________ Greetings, Here is the moment you have all been waiting for, the very large list for everything we're doing in the next major update! Please note that we are aiming to have this update live and ready to go next week, but there is always that chance it may slip a few days. DISCLAIMER: please be aware that anywhere in the notes where it says "now" refers to when this update is actually live. What’s New New Events System A key feature in this update is a brand new Events system. This system replaces the old Key Card Events, and will enable our designers to craft a wide variety of Event types, structures, and themes. To provide interesting and challenging scenarios, the new system can restrict the type, number, category, and rarity of units eligible for a given Event. Events can allow limitless attempts, a limited number of attempts, or be non-repeatable. Most Events are expected to be available for a limited time. An exception are the Training Droid and Credits Events which were previously available in the Key Card system. Those two events will also be available in the new Events system, and are expected to always be available. A limited time Event can re-appear at a later date after its time limit has expired. Players' progress will be saved from previous attempts. As part of this change, the old Key Card collection table has been removed. First Event – Featuring a New Character! One of the most-frequently requested characters is now available! In this inaugural Event, players can Battle to win Shards for this character in their customized training Battles. This Event features seven stages which must be unlocked progressively. Only Jedi units are allowed. The requirements for each Stage are also based on the star rarity of the Jedi units. The first Battle in this Event requires five Jedi which are 1 Star or above. Completing that Battle will award Shards of the new character, and unlock Stage 2. Stage 2 requires five Jedi which are 2 Star or above, and so on up to Stage 7 which requires five Jedi at 7 Stars to get the final Shards needed to Promote the new character to 7 Stars! Once players have completed Stage 5, they will have enough Shards to Activate the new character at 5 Stars. This Event is planned to be available for a week, and then unavailable for a number of weeks, and then available again for a week, etc. This approach will give players multiple opportunities to progress in the Event, with time in between to prepare as needed. This will be the only place to gain Shards of the new character. The new character is not expected to be for sale or acquirable elsewhere in the game. New Training Bot and Credit Events These two repeatable Events have been refactored under the new Events system. These Events are open indefinitely and no longer require Key Cards. Players can attempt them without limit. Energy cost per attempt has been adjusted down. Payouts per attempt have also been adjusted down to account for the lowered Energy cost, unlimited attempts, and economy balance. Free Energy Rewards During 3 two hour periods of the day (12:00-14:00, 18:00-20:00, and 21:00-23:00, all in your local time) the player can collect additional bonus Energy through the Daily Activities menu. This bonus Energy will only be available during those time windows and must be actively collected. The collection opportunity will not persist if the player comes in after the two hour window expires. A countdown timer displays in Daily Activities to show when the next one will be available. Leaderboard Rank Swap Adjustments Adjustments have been made to the way Arena matchmaking works for the top 40 positions on the leaderboard. Once players reach rank 40, the range of players they can challenge will begin to shrink. For example, previously, players who reached rank 11 could attack the player at rank 2. Now a rank 11 player will only be able to attack a player up to rank 6. Shard Details When viewing possible rewards or shipments, clicking on a character Shard will display the number of Shards required to acquire or Promote that character as well as summary details on the strategic value of the character. This will give players more info on Shards where they need it, so they don't have to navigate away to check their Shard counts. Gear Details When a player views possible rewards or shipments, gear that is currently needed for a character(s) is badged. Clicking on a badged piece of gear will display all characters that currently need the gear (at that moment). Viewing gear details now displays the quantity of gear that the player owns. Finding Gear/Shards Improvements were made to the Find flow so players will know if they got the piece they were looking for. After pressing "Find" to search for a piece of gear, when that piece of gear is part of the post-Battle rewards, it is highlighted as "Collected X/Y" with X being the quantity of the item the player owns and Y being the quantity of the item needed to fulfill the crafting requirement. Shards will also be highlighted as "Collected X/Y" when searched. Shard Shop Previously when players gained enough Shards for a 7 star character, any additional Shards earned had no value. The Shard Shop is the answer to this problem. A "Shard Shop" will now unlock when a player has collected a 7 star character. At the shop, players can convert additional Shards earned for their 7 star characters into a currency that can be spent on acquiring Shards for other characters. Dialog for pre and post unlock guide explain the purpose of the shop. Gear Crafting Improvements Several changes were made to the crafting flows to make it less labor intensive for players. Previously when crafting a piece of nested gear (multiple levels of crafting), after crafting was complete for the "child" or "component" piece, the player would have to navigate up a hierarchy level to determine what gear was needed next to craft the "parent" or "full" piece. Now when the child item has been crafted the player will immediately be taken to the parent (one level up), removing the extra navigation step. Previously when crafting a piece of nested gear with many levels of hierarchy, each child had to be crafted individually before the parent could be crafted. Crafting can now be done at the parent level if all gear and credits required for child items have been gathered. A back button is now present in the gear crafting UI making navigation up a level of hierarchy more clear. The current hierarchy level is also highlighted. The "Equip" button will now be green when the gear needed is available, minimizing players from accidentally spending crafting materials unnecessarily. When multiple pieces of gear are needed, a scrollbar is present and gear that is needed is sorted to the top. Arena Screen Arena Matchmaking screen has been overhauled based on player feedback, and to clarify a number of things players were finding confusing. The screen will now show opponents' full squad, allowing players to both plan for the Battle and to study what unit combinations other players are using. Tap and Hold on opponent units will bring up details for that specific unit. The player's own rank is more prominently displayed. Changed the power icon to just the word "Power" to make it more clear to players. The prize tier the player is currently is now displayed next to the player's power. A timer was added to the Prizes button to show when those rewards will be distributed. The Home button is now available in the upper right. The Refresh opponent list button has been moved. Shipments button in Arena (and Galactic War) changed to read "Redeem" and show the currency icon to clarify where to spend the related currency. Improvements to Delayed Damage Previously, abilities which caused Damage over Time (DoT) or had a time-delay element in their damage could not kill an enemy unit when it started its turn. That is no longer the case. Units with a DoT, bomb, or similar effect on them will suffer the correct amount of damage at the very start of their turn. If that takes them to zero health, they will die before taking their turn. Improved Pack Descriptions The pack description screen has been improved to provide a more detailed account of the potential drops from each of the packs. This is meant to more accurately represent the possible drops from packs than the previous approach that only displayed characters. This new description is not a comprehensive list of everything in the pack, due to the vast quantity of items, but shows a large percentage of the possible items. Ally Information Clicking on an Ally under Allies->Manage will now display additional information about the Ally including the leader's ability, PvP Rank, and Power. This will allow players to assess their ally list more carefully. Sell button / screen removed We removed the Sell Screen, and ability to sell items, from the game. This decision was made for a few reasons. First, the replacement of Mining Droids with credits removed the item that people sold the most. Second, with the improvements to gear details, players can now see how many of an item exists in inventory, a primary value of the Sell screen. Finally, we were noticing that players were often accidentally selling items, leading to a negative experience. We realize some players sell gear and xp bots purposefully to earn credits, but we feel this is a better experience for the majority of the playerbase. Any player that had a mining droid in the inventory will receive an Inbox message granting the credit value of the droids. Gear rarity visibility The border around gear denoting its rarity is now present in Shipments and during Data Card opening, making it easier to know the gear's value. Squad management When selecting squad members pre-Battle, the characters previously had their level listed redundantly. This has been replaced by showing character power, assisting in determining which character to choose. Character Inventory Screen Previously, on the Characters inventory screen, each panel for a character had a progress bar with two potential meanings. If the character had been Activated, the bar indicated the units XP progress to their next level. If the character had not been Activated, it showed progress of collecting Shards to Activate the character. This was confusing and hard to message clearly. Now, regardless of whether the character is or isn't Activated, the bar under the characters now shows progress to the next star level (unit Shards). Characters were previously sorted by level as a default. They are now sorted by Power, which is a more accurate representation of their value. Gear slots now show the actual gear images so it's more clear when the slots are filled. Optimizations to the system allowed this without massive increase to inventory load. Galactic War The chest that animates, prompting the player to open it, has improved VFX so it's easier to tell what to do (tap on chest to open it). Refreshing the Galactic War Shipments now costs premium currency to make it consistent with other shipment stores. Daily Reward Improved VFX after collecting the Daily Reward will more clearly show what the player has received. A detail was added to the info section in the Daily Reward screen explaining that daily login progress resets at the beginning of each month. Accounts If a player on Android is logged into G+, that player will continue to be logged in after doing an update from the app store. Previously a player could be logged out of G+. Battle Targeting The targeting reticle "pops" more noticeably when attempting to target an opponent unit when another opponent unit is taunting, or when trying to target a stealthed opponent. This should make it more clear why a player cannot change targets in those instances. Improvements were made in Battle to make it easier to target backrow opponents so players can be more strategic in their target choices. Targets will no longer swap between character turns when using manual Battle. Training Bot Icons The size of training droid icons was increased in the info panels to make them easier for players to see and differentiate between them. VFX Changes Double Shot VFX for Cad Bane and CT555's basic attack has been improved so they shoot from the right gun for the double shot. VFX for Clone Wars Chewbacca's specials were differentiated more so it is clear that the chosen special ability was triggered. Attack animation distance The distance to target in the animation for the Jedi Knight Guardian's basic attack and Kylo Ren's second special was reduced (no functional change, cosmetic adjustment) so it looks more like they are hitting their targets. Challenges In order to help players plan, all of the panels for the Challenges now show the days of the week when a Challenge is available. Previously, inactive Challenges were hidden, but in order to show when inactive Challenges will become available, all panels are now visible even if they are not accessible. “Go” Button Fixes The “Go” button for Daily Activities has now been fixed for the Galactic War Activity, Use the Force, Mission Directives, Hard Won, and Give in to the Dark Side. Go button on the "Battle Hardened" Achievement now takes player to Hard Mode Campaign instead of the store. App Rating Prompt Added to the choices so players can dismiss the prompt forever or postpone it for a while. "Rate Now" - Takes player to app store. "Not Now" - Player is reminded to rate later. "Never" - Reminder does not reappear. Home Screen Scroll Bar Added an indicator to the Cantina Home Screen under the HUD that shows that there are scrollable areas to the left and right Cantina Energy Color Changed Cantina Energy icon color from purple to match the color of Cantina Credits.136KViews0likes402Comments[Mega] An Ancient Journey of Redemption
