One Month One World One Year Challenge 2026
Hello and welcome. :) This challenge was started by Karababy52 (see more here) and I would like to continue it on for another year if I can. Hopefully more people can join in. The more the merrier! The premise of this challenge is pretty simple. The goal is to post one in-game screenshot once a day during the 2026 year. So, kind of like a 365 project for your sims. You will start out with a teen sim and pick your starting world. I'll share a list of suggestions, but really you can pick whatever you want. Your sim will be a teen for 3 real world months, then age-up to Young Adult in April. They will spend 4 months as a Young Adult, then age-up to Adult in July. They will spend 4 more months as an Adult, then age-up to Elder in December. Each month your sim will move to a new world to explore. I've taken all the rules and guidelines here and copied them over from Karaybaby52's 2023 post and edited them slightly. Rules/Guidelines: One screenshot post per real life day in this thread with a short text summary. One world per real life month - See monthly schedule of worlds in spoiler below. Optional: May change schedule of worlds to reflect your preferences. Your challenge Sim MUST be a teen to officially begin this challenge and post in the thread. After three real life months have passed, your Sim will age up to young adult for four months, adult for four months and finally, age up to an elder for December. Timeline posted in spoiler below. Optional: How long your Sim stays in each life stage, teen-elder, is at your own discretion. However, they are required to be at minimum a young adult to attend Uni in Britechester. *Note: If you own the High School Years EP, your Sims may be offered early graduation. If they take the offer, your teen is allowed to apply, enroll, and attend university or join full-time adult careers. Begin Rags to Riches style on an empty lot with 0 simoleons. Optional: Use the 20,000 starting simoleons to buy a starter home and furnish it how you want. Aging off. Optional: May use long lifespan. All unplayed residential worlds are off limits for any kind of travel. Exception: Newcrest may be designated a 'neutral' world to place venues for your Sim to use regardless of their current world residence. Optional: Newcrest may be used to replace a pack you don't own instead. Sims may take a vacation to any of the designated vacations worlds. Rental lots in unplayed residential worlds are off limits. Aspirations released with a world must be fulfilled first. May choose a base game or other pack aspiration not in the challenge to complete afterward. Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade may be used in substitution for worlds listed in the challenge for packs you may not own. In that event, choose one or two base game or other packs aspirations not in the challenge to complete per world. Your Sim may marry and/or have children. Aging up children is at your own discretion. High School attendance is not required. May use cheats to fulfill daily/promotional task requirements. *Exception: Applicable only if you do not own the High School Years EP or if you do own it, but have elected not to have your Sim live in Copperdale and do the aspirations associated with the EP in your challenge. The beginning of each new month/world must start Rags to Riches style. Optional: Your Sim may keep personal possessions, sell the rest and bulldoze the house. They may use simoleons from this sale and accumulated household funds to build or download a house from the Gallery. If your challenge Sim dies, it's game over. Optional: You may bring them back to life and continue or use another existing Sim in the household to complete the challenge. Occult states and Celebrity statuses must be removed when progressing to the next month/world. Optional: May keep acquired lifestates/statuses. *Note: Vampires can't get a suntan, which is a Beach Life aspiration task. If a new world is released with a new pack at any time during 2026, you have the option to swap the new world with another prior released world. Give yourself a break and don't stress over days missed due to internet outages, vacations/holidays, real life work/responsibilities or sickness. Extra story screenshots may be posted, but try to keep it to 5 max. May use satisfaction points to buy rewards. Exception: Money tree seeds are disallowed. Lottery tickets are disallowed for purchase. Beginning season, length of days and moon phases are your choice. May turn off or cheat away/change all Eco Lifestyle features applied to worlds. Exception: Must be turned on while living in Evergreen Harbor. May participate in all default Holidays, modify, delete and/or add your own. May include a link to your preferred Blog site with additional story text/screenshots, in addition to your Daily Post Pic/Text Summary. Mod friendly challenge! However, please use discretion when using them. Using a mod to fulfill an aspiration is disallowed. Exception: May be used to correct bugs and/or glitches. Cantrell: The Middle Years, Part Two
When the Year Ends With a Bang, a Cantrell: The Middle Years, Update-1 Erik woke up with a strong thirst to get back to things he used to do. He did wonder if Jamison’s decision had anything to do with it. He quickly realized his situation wasn’t even close to what his eldest son just went through. No, he had a desire to go back to making nectar, and to care for their little filly, the way he always used to care for their horses. Back to the sheer joy of writing his music, recording it and building an album. He was also acutely aware of just how much time he let escape. If he wanted to compete for Album of the Year, he had to release the work no later than the Quaver, come the first Sunday in Spring. Can’t submit something that’s not even made. While Erik was enjoying the time spent with his family, he was only too aware of how the balance had swung in the opposite direction. No wonder this past birthday hit him so hard. Crawling out of bed, he discovered he had a concert and a photoshoot to attend. How to work laying down fifteen tracks and packaging an album in between. I wonder. He also had another task he wished to not postpone. Putting himself into turbo mode as only Erik Cantrell could, he showered, dressed and got to stomping some grapes in the upper floor of the stables. “I’m off,” he hollered as he walked through the back door on his way to the front door. “Got a full docket.” “Don’t forget tonight is New Year’s Eve,” Kayleigh said, with a wave. Finding her out front, Erik quickly fed the filly, Gab’s Glory, on his way out to Taygeta Studios. The recording went really well, to Erik’s joy. The music flowed through him and there was no need to redo, to everyone’s surprise and delight. “Hey, good to know Erik one and done is back.” Michael Perry, one of the two Sound Mixers said. “What are you saying to me?” Erik quipped. “Just spit it out, man.” “Music’s been great, but you haven’t seemed up to par, yourself, lately.” “Yeah, I know,” Erik said, nodding. “But I do believe I’ve turned a corner on that. I know it’s going to be okay, at least.” Erik went home, briefly to have the photoshoot take place at his home. This had a tendency to make it happen much faster, he quickly realized. To his pleasure and surprise, this was also a one and done situation. Taking off from there he kept his appointment. He entered the parlor and was taken immediately to a chair near the back of the establishment, which afforded a certain amount of privacy. This particular shop, Sheer Madness, catered mostly to celebrities. “So, Mr. Cantrell, what can I do for you today?” Miriam said, as she placed the protective apron under his neck, fastening it before she began to examine his hair. “Your hair isn’t overly long; your ends look quite healthy. So, what’s up?” Miriam said with a smile. “I’m actually here for a haircut. I’d like it shorter, if you please.” “Okay, but first, we have this nice little device that will allow you to “try on” the haircuts before I use the sheers on your hair. Unless you already have an idea of what you want.” “No, actually. Let’s try on some styles, if you will. It’s been a decade or two since I’ve had a regular haircut.” “No, actually. Let’s try on some styles, if you will. It’s been a decade or two since I’ve had a regular haircut.” Miriam reach for a small remote control and the mirror winked on, loading the desired program. “Here’s number one. Do you like it?” "What I really need is some feedback and I want you to be brutally honest. My hair has always been my signature look, as you know.” Miriam’s forehead knotted up just a bit. She slowly shook her head. “No, it’s just not you.” “Next.” “Next.” “Oh, no, that’s not even me,” Erik laughed. “Next.” they went through the next four in rapid fire. Erik began to laugh “Now, that last one looks like the style my teen twin sons chose. “No. I am not after recovering my youth. I’m quite content being me.” “Looks too close to how my sister-in-law wears her hair... Next one, please." “Now, that’s closer only a tad too short.” “Okay, try this one out.” “Hm, problem I see with that one is the temptation to just let it grow out a bit.” “I have two more. Then we’ll just have to wing it.” “Reminds me of a priest.” “Are you sure you’re even ready to cut off your hair?” “I never said I wasn’t picky,” Erik smiled. “Do you have something a little longer than number nine?” “Oh, yes, this just came in. Designer is Thady Riley. Here you go, what do you think?” “That’s it. I like it. I mean I really like it.” “Oh, good, because it’s totally you, sir.” “Snip away, Madame, I have a concert and a party to throw.” Erik stood on the stage, his hat worn for warmth, not to shield the new haircut, although, admittedly his head felt lighter. By the time Erik got home again, the party was in full swing. “Erik, there you are,” Kayleigh said, as he entered the dining room. “Your hair is short, what happened?” “Got it cut.” He shrugged. “It took all day long to cut your hair? I don’t believe you. You knew we had plans—” Erik grasped her upper arms gently, gazing into her big blue eyes. “No, I laid down fifteen tracks for an album, packaged it, so I just need to release I — very soon, lest I take myself out of the running.” “Oh,” she said, as he gathered her into his arms, hearing the chime of the clock as it struck midnight. “Happy New Year,” he breathed as his lips met hers. At that moment a strong whoosh met their ears. Everybody turned toward the bar, as it suddenly was on fire. “What is going on here,” Kayleigh moaned. Erik just stood there, staring, “Not again.” Happy New Year. I do hope 2287 proves better than this start, anyway. All for now, thanks for reading!
Build Request
If possible, could someone build this house on a 50x50 lot with terrain tools and a pool in the backyard? The basement doesn’t have to have all the extra rooms if it’s too much. Also, you don’t have to fully furnish it, just put countertops, fixtures, and light furnishings to indicate which room it is.

Santa's pop-up park Christmas night be over but as Santa Diana his tools for festive New Year he leaves his park and market open for Sims to buy for next year's event. Santa also listens to Sims Christmas cheers and wishes for next year. Wander around the woods and Sims will find the secret bar where they can raise a toast to the new year.
The Whittaker Saga - 1980s (updated 12/24)
I was vastly inspired when reading the decades challenge, and as a history teacher, I could not stop myself from giving it a try. Of course, true to my nature or refusing to do things by the book, the first thing I did was break the rules. How? By creating as my protagonist a single, working woman living on her own! Gasp! Why? Partly because a story popped into my head, but also, partly, to honor the many women who - by choice or necessity - actually worked, and worked hard for their living in the 1890s. We tend to forget them, but the working women were there - from the hard working farmers that we often downgrade by calling wives, as if they weren't an essential part of the economy of the farm, to the working class women working as domestic help or in the factories where they were only payed half of a man's wages. So with that, I introduce Abigail Spencer, a single, working, middle class woman in 1890s Willow Creek: As middle class there is only a few jobs available to Abigail, that of governess or that of teacher. Abigail is therefore a teacher, teaching at Willow Creek Elementary School. She lives right next door to the school, in a small shotgun house with a few chickens and a patch of land to help her make ends meet (teachers really were not payed a lot during this time either). Obviously, her biggest goal in life is to find a husband, get married and start a family so that she won't have to work. (In fact, a teacher, as well as many other working women, automatically lost their job if they got married during this time.) But to get married, she needs to find a husband. Meet Willow Creek's eligible bachelors: Matthew Godeau: Matthew is one of the richest men in Willow Creek. A bit too old to still be a bachelor he lives with his widowed mother in Ophelia house (yes, eventually this family changed their names and became the Goths. Ophelia house is named from Matthew's mother). Pro: Matthew is creative, just like Abigail, as well as a romantic and would be sure to bestow lots of attention on a wife. He lives in one of the biggest houses in town, and is a wealthy business man. Abigail would have a good life with him. Con: His mother. Ophelia is a woman set in her own ways and she is not about to let some silly girl interfere with how she runs her house! Ophelia is mean, materialistic and an overachiever. She is not likely to see some middle class teacher as good enough for her son. Add that she has raised her son to be not only creative and romantic, but also incredibly self absorbed and the household may prove hard to be comfortable with. Joseph Whittaker: Joseph is a novellist, living in the stately Whittaker house, which with time, will be turned into the well renowned Willow Creek Archive. He has no mother (a definite pro), but two very young children. A son and a daughter, from a previous marriage. Pro: Joseph is a bookworm, just like Abigail and is sure look favourably on her past as a teacher. They are also both family orientated which means they are a good match in personalities and would likely find a lot of common ground. The house is ripe with books, and Joseph's two motherless children desperately need a mother to tend to their needs. With two live in maids it's a comfortable life focused on the family and the books she so loves. Con: Joseph very much mourns his dead wife, and keeps her picture on the wall over the fireplace. Can he ever truly love again, or will Abigail forever live in the shadow of the woman he loved and lost? Loyd Brennan: Loyd is the owner of Brennan's Groceries and Dry Goods, the biggest (only) shop in town. He lives with his sister Mary and their dachshund above the store. Pro: Loyd is outgoing and friendly and easy to get along with. He's self assured, but unlike Matthew, not self absorbed. He works hard and provides a good home. As a working man he does not mind a working wife, so Abigail would do more than sit around being pretty. He loves dogs, and anyone who does cannot be bad - right? Con: Living in a store would mean working in the store. There is no way the wife of a store owner is not in that store working along side her husband. Without money for a maid, this involves not just working in the store but running the household as well. The apartment isn't really big enough for a large family and unless Mary gets married, it's bound to be crowded. Then there is the fact that she and Mary does not really get along well. Paul Heydale: Paul is a farmer, living with his entire family at Garden Essence, a farm with a cow, chickens and a whole lot of crops. They're a tight knit family who works hard for what they have. Pros: Paul, like Abigail is both creative and family orientated. He dreams of becoming a painter rather than a farmer. By marrying him, Abigail would be wrapped up in a large family who would be there for her, something she'd never had before. His family is also very friendly, and Abigail teachers his younger sister and has already met and chatted with his mother and father and really likes the entire family. Con: Marrying a farmer would be a step down the social ladder, and the life of a farmer is hard! Is Abigail cut out for working out from early morning to late evening without ever more than making ends meet? And the house is crowded as is, with Paul's parents and two younger siblings (so far). Where would more children live? Is Abigail prepared for the hard life that accompanies this choice? Now I wanted to make a poll, but apparently you cannot do this in this section of the forums. So I'll leave you with a question instead - who do you believe Abigail will most likely fall in love with and why? Matthew Joseph Loyd Paul Finally, here is my Willow Creek in 1890: *** An important note about the future postings in this story: After trying and fighting the forum to get the posts up and running as they are supposed to work, I have now decided that it's simply too much work. Instead, I have started a blog that (hopefully soon) will contain all of the chapters from here and the old forum. I am currently at 1891 and moving forwards quite rapidly. Here the posts of each chapter will be replaced by a link to the chapters in the blog as I move forwards, though I will leave any comments as they are. The massive perk with this is that I do not need to worry about editing in all images manually, and the loading time will decrease enormously without them. The process of reading is also easier at the blog - and while the blog itself is in the wrong order, I have set up a list of all chapters in chronological order for new readers as well as a search function if you are looking for a specific chapter. Another perk is that I have some new options, like character pages where you can get a summary of each of the main character in the story (warnings for spoilers) and a separate page about the challenge, how time moves. I hope I will be able include a link to the family tree as well. It will take some time to get everything set up, and I do appreciate input in the process. I do promise that the story will go on, and hope you will keep reading it and commenting on it either here or on the new blog. Link to the blog.

🌎Planet Premades Challenge 🌎
Hello! You are invited to join a monthy challenge called Planet Premades! Once a month, we make over a certain premade Sim from a new world. For December, that world is Strangerville and the Sim is George Cahill **See attachments** Directions: Makeover the sim in CAS, create a room that represents them (8x8 at most & medium walls), Makeover/build a home for that sim. *Do 1, 2, or all 3 options! No CC or Defaults. If you don't have the Strangerville pack, I do have the EA George uploaded to the gallery (ShellyE1) so you can use him as a base so you can still participate. Due: December 31st Upload with the hashtag #PlanetPremades Open to everyone to participate. All entries will be showcased on Twitch.
[Savefile] Blast To The Past
Sul-sul from Old Town! After playing several saves that recreated TS2, I started wanting something different. I started wanting to go further into the past. So I started recreating TS1 in TS4! And then EA realeased the Blast To The Past event and besides stealing the save's name, they dropped a few things that improved the save greatly. I have most of Old Town made, and I decided to share it so I get feedback from fellow simmers. I will be posting pictures. The save is being build with no CC or mods, but requires every pack under the sun. However, I'm keeping track of the elements used in each lot, so you can check if missing packs will be a huge issue or not. The save will eventually be hosted in my patreon, and buildings can be found in both Patreon and on my Gallery (MillieSalem in both places). Feel free to give feedback and share your favourite TS1 lots and sims!! I would love to hear your stories!!
The 7-Day Winterfest Elf Solo Challenge
In a new game save, you'll be creating a Sim Elf who is tasked with completing various holiday-related tasks leading up to Winterfest Day. Winterfest Week is filled with activities that take place at home or while out & about. There isn't a huge list of tasks assigned to each day because elves just wanna have FUN ... what your Sim Elf chooses to do during their "free time" is up to you or the game because we all know the game likes to cancel our action queue from time to time and insert in something totally unexpected. Read the Rules all the way through before starting the Challenge in order to have a better understanding of what is expected from your Sim Elf. Rules: The 7-Day Winterfest Elf Solo Challenge While testing this out, a story began to form. Reading Story Time with Sparkle the Elf highlights what I did but one-size-doesn't-fit-all so once the tasks are done, feel free to have your Elf try out new things. Hit the slopes or hang out in the hot springs. Spread your festivity at festivals. Meet new Sims and spread holiday cheer. The possibilities are endless. However, the story is syntactically correct.
Moochellie Makes - 1st Entry
I did it... I finally gave in to that whisper in my ear to start making Sims 4 clothes... As a hobby seamstress and a collector of vintage and retro sewing patterns, I'm never out of options to add something new to my wardrobe. But I just couldn't ignore that voice that kept telling me, "Ooh, you would look great in that", or "Wow, that would be an awesome item to make." Then... almost a year into playing The Sims 4, I broke down and gave in to the voice. I'd love to share my first ever make! Or rather, my closest interpretation of it. A jacket from the base game, trousers from City Living, and shoes also from the base game. Tadaa!! Have a look!!
WIP Monster High World
I wanted to share what I'm working on, I'm making my own world, I'm looking for feedback, I've collected lots from the exhange and built my own lots. The world contains it's own description, animated Icon and picture. The world map, contains it's own Icons, descriptions. I still need to place the sims in the world, I've got about 40-50 free slots, in the world to place the monster high sims, I used mainly Rental units like dorms, to increase this count. Skelen Moania was the founder of New Salem, I wanted to give the town more identity than just being place where monster high is, so this is the lot she currently lives in. Skelen Moania, owns the local graveyard, but it's used more like a nightclub than graveyard, it's where the monster high students goto party. Coffin Bean Café is the hottest haunted spot in town for Monster High students to come after school, whether they want to hit the biteology books, chit chat while playing with monster pets, or enjoy scaretastically scrumptious snacks. The truth of the matter is that, I'm not actual a massive fan of monster high, but I do enjoy creating worlds , especially worlds with a good amount of law. What can be difficult for me, is when i build a lot, I always consider gameplay first for example that Coffin Bean Café cost less than 18K, it makes me think outside the box to make something look good on tighter budjet. I've downloaded so many fantastic lots from the exchange only to bin them, due to making the game, load forever and I just wish some builders will actual play test the lots. Just don't get me started on the move objects cheat, when I download a lot I always seem to have 10 cupboards infront of my bed.😄 I've got no plans to share the world file, I don't won't to face the wrath of the plagiarism police, but if anybody is intrest, I will post the links to everything I've used and setup instructions. The only mods I'm using are stuff I can use and edit myself, I'm trying to keep the world Custom Content free, I did make a small mod that changes the text, to say Monster high instead of Copperdale school, that was for immersion. I also use the Home Regions mod to help setup sims, I don't wont a NPC from Willow Creek walking past my door while I'm playing in a monster world and vice versa, keeps everybody where they should be.

Alphabet SuperLegacy Challenge Rules
Updated for Adventure Awaits. This is a legacy challenge where each generation represents a different letter, and must explore all of the game play starting with that letter: aspirations, collections, woohoo spots, reward store traits, you name it. I already have a thread for this challenge that has been updated through Crystal Creations. Since it was transferred from the old forum, it was very hard to update further. Ignore any objective related to a pack you don’t own. You can choose to skip a generation if your pack limitations leave it extremely short on content. I've removed two of the letters (Q, Y) from the challenge because they don't have much to do, even with all the packs. No cheat codes that help you move through your objectives faster. No rules about aging. No rules governing non-heirs. Just because one generation has something as an objective, doesn’t mean that other generations can’t do it for fun/convenience. Personality Traits: If you don’t have at least three traits in the assigned letter, you have to randomize the rest. No self-discovery traits starting with a different letter. Naming: Each heir's name, and that of any pets they have, must begin with their letter. Likes and Dislikes: The heir can only have the likes/dislikes assigned to their generation. Color preferences are assigned when they age up to Child. From that point forward, all the heir's outfits will reflect their color preferences. If you decorate a space for them, you must consider their color preferences. Fashion and interior design preferences are assigned when they age up to teen (if you have those packs). From that point forward, all their outfits and decorated spaces will reflect their style preferences. Lot Traits and Challenges: The heir must have all of their assigned lot challenges equipped in all of their designated residences. If the heir has three assigned lot traits or less, they also must be assigned. If the heir has four or more lot traits, they have to change up which three are in play. Aspiration Rewards: The heir must purchase all of their required rewards from the Reward Store before they can purchase any optional rewards. Consumable rewards (e.g. confident potion) can be purchased earlier, and then used later. Transitional Bonus Trait: The heir's transitional aspiration (the one that decides the bonus trait) has to be an aspiration from their generation, unless they don't one available at that age. At the start of the challenge, the Gen 1 "founder" will be a toddler, so you will need to give them at least one parent.
